Objective:To study the mechanism of interleukin-10(IL-10)inhibiting the function of dendritic cells(DCs).Meth-ods:Cultured C57BL/6 mouse bone marrow-derived DCs were divided into 5 groups:control group,LPS stimulated group,IL-10 treated group,IL-10+Rapamycin treated group and Rapamycin treated group .The regulatory mechanism of IL-10 on dendritic cells were evalua-ted from DCs function ,Flow cytometry was used to analyse the expression of DCs surface co-stimulator CD80 ,CD40 expression ,the abil-ity of uptaking antigen and stimulating T cell to proliferate;ELISA was used to detect the cytokines IL-6 and TNF-α.Western blot was used to analyse the autophagy related protein LC3.Compared the differences between the groups.Results:(1)Compared to LPS stimu-lated group,IL-10 treated group,DCs surface co-stimulator CD40,CD80 were decreased,IL-6 and TNF-αsecretion level and the ability to stimulate T cell to proliferate were decreased ,the ability to capture OVA antigen was increased .Compared to IL-10 treated group ,the DCs surface co-stimulator CD80 was decreased ( P<0.05 ) ,IL-6 and TNF-αsecretion level and the ability to stimulate T cell to prolifer-ate were increased(P<0.0001)in IL-10+rapamycin treated group. In addition, autophagy related proteins LC3Ⅱ/LC3Ⅰwas decreased in IL-10 treated group.Conclusion:IL-10 may regulate functions of DCs through inhibiting the autophagy of DCs .

Objective:To investigate the effect of resveratrol ( Res ) on endoplasmic reticulum stress induced by cerebral ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)injury in rats. Methods:The seventy-two male SD rats were divided randomly into three groups(n=20):sham operation group ( group S ) , I/R group and Res-treatment group ( group R ) .Focal cerebral I/R model was induced by electrocoagulation of left middle cerebral artery and occlusion of bilateral common carotid arteries followed by reperfusion after 30 min.The rats in Res group were treated with Res(50 mg/kg)i.p.7 d before the operation, once a day for 7 d.Neurological deficits were assessed at 24 h post-injury,followed by collecting the brain tissues.Cerebral infarct size was detected by TTC staining, and the water content of brain tissue were measured by wet-dry weight method. The expression of GRP78,p-PERK and CHOP proteins were deter-mined by immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis. Results:Compared with sham group, the neurological deficit score and the brain water content were significantly increased(P<0.05),cerebral infarct size was enlarged(P<0.05),and the expression of GRP78, p-PERK and CHOP were up-regulated in I/R group(P<0.05).At the corresponding time, compared with I/R group, the neurological deficit score and the brain water content were markedly decreased(P<0.05),cerebral infarct size was smaller(P<0.05),the level of GRP78 was notablely increased(P<0.05),while the expression of p-PERK and CHOP were down-regulated in Res group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Resveratrol plays a protection role in ischemia-reperfusion injury, through inhibiting the endoplasmic reticulum stress in rats.

In order to enhance the position accuracy of ablation catheter in heart electrophysiology operation, signals of respiration and heartbeat must be removed for subsequent data processing. Based on locating principle of electrical field with low frequency, synchronous detector with MC1496 has been developed in this study. In the present research, several methods are utilized to optimize the circuit performance, such as coupling and stopping direct current, low-pass filtering, as well as limiting ripple voltage etc. Through simulation results, it showed that the demodulation performance of the circuit was fine. Through simulation platform of thorax electric field and animal experiment, the circuit feasibility were further proved good for extracting signals of respiration and heartbeat.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2022;30(2):101-107
The aim of the present study is to explore the association between abdominal obesity and chronic kidney disease (CKD) through a systematic review of published studies. Databases including Wanfang data, CNKI, VIP, CBM, Cochrane Library, PubMed, Web of science and Embase were searched up to July 2021 to collect longitudinal studies published in Chinese and English on the association between abdominal obesity and CKD. In order to avoid omission, reference lists of related articles were also checked manually. After literature selection, data were extracted and study quality was evaluated by the Newcastle-Ottawa scale. Statistical analysis of this study was conducted using Stata 11.0 software. Finally, five studies were included in this study. The results showed that abdominal obesity defined by waist circumference was not associated with CKD (OR=1.17,95% CI:0.93-1.48). According to the results of subgroup analyses, whether adjusted body mass index might be part of the reason of heterogeneity. Based on results of this study, the association between abdominal obesity defined by waist hip ratio and CKD, as well as the association between abdominal obesity and CKD in different genders, remains unknown. In conclusion, abdominal obesity might not be associated with incident CKD. However, more studies are needed in the future to explore this association.

Acute pancreatitis is a common acute abdominal disease of the digestive system characterized by multiple etiologies and rapid progression, and early diagnosis and treatment are closely associated with the prognosis of patients. Among various radiological examinations, ultrasound can perform real-time dynamic comprehensive scans of the pancreas and the biliary system and thus plays an important role in etiological diagnosis, grading, and treatment. This article reviews the current status and prospects of ultrasound in acute pancreatitis, in order to provide a reference for the diagnosis and treatment of acute pancreatitis.

OBJECTIVES:
This study evaluated the prognostic power of serum uric acid (UA) in predicting adverse events in elderly acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients with diabetes mellitus (DM).
METHODS:
The analysis involved 718 ACS patients >80 years old whose general clinical data and baseline blood biochemical indicators were collected prospectively from January 2006 to December 2012. These patients were classified into two groups based on DM status, and then followed up after discharge. The Kaplan-Meier method was used for major adverse cardiac event (MACE) rates and all-cause mortality. Multivariate Cox regression was performed to analyze the relationship between UA level and long-term clinical prognosis. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were analyzed to predict the cutoff value of UA in elderly ACS patients with DM. There were 242 and 476 patients in the DM and non-DM (NDM) groups, respectively, and the follow-up time after discharge was 40‒120 months (median, 63 months; interquartile range, 51‒74 months).
RESULTS:
The all-cause mortality, cardiac mortality, and MACE rates in both DM and NDM patients were higher than those in the control group (
CONCLUSIONS
Serum UA level is a strong independent predictor of long-term all-cause death and MACE in elderly ACS patients with DM.
