This paper aims to establish a method for the determination of sulfur dioxide in sulfur fumigation Chinese herbs. Sample powder and hydrochloric acid solution were isolated by paraffin layer in order to avoid early reactions, with the generation of sulfur dioxide, headspace with airtight needle was used to transfer sulfur dioxide into gas chromatograph, and detected with thermal conductivity detector. The analytical performance was demonstrated by the analysis of 12 herbs, spiked at four concentration levels. In general, the recoveries ranging from 70% to 110%, with relative standard deviations (RSDs) within 15%, were obtained. The limit of detection (LOD) was below 10 mg x kg(-1). Standard addition can be used for low recovery samples. The method is simple, less time-consuming, specific and sensitive. Methods comparison revealed that gas chromatography is better than traditional titration in terms of method operability, accuracy and specificity, showing good application value.

AIM: The multi-residues method was used to determine organophosphorus pesticides in traditional Chinese herbal medicines (TCHMs).METHODS: Fifty three pesticides were extracted by high-speed homogenization, and then cleaned sequentially by C_(18) and Carb/NH2 solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridges. The residues were simultaneously identified and quantified by GC-FPD equipped with dual tower, dual column and two FPD detectors.RESULTS: The analytical performance was demonstrated by the analysis of 6 TCHMs samples extracts, spiked at three concentration levels for each pesticide. In general, the recoveries ranging from 70% to 120%,with relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 15%,were obtained. The limit of detection (LOD) for most of the targeted pesticides tested was below 0.01 mg/kg.CONCLUSION: The method has good extraction efficiency, purification effect and good reproducibility, which can be applied to the determination of organophosphorus pesticide residues in the routine analysis of TCHMs.

Objective To explore the effectiveness and adverse effect of high frequency oscillation ventilation (HFOV) combined with Sildenafil (SIL) treatment on newborns with persistent pulmonary hypertension (PPHN).Methods A total of 89 cases of PPHN infants collected from Chengdu Women and Children's Central Hospital from Sep.2010 to Sep.2012 were randomly divided into HFOV group, constant mechanical ventilation (CMV) group,HFOV combined SIL group (HFOV + SIL group) and CMV combined with SIL group (CMV + SIL group). The arterial blood gas, pulmonary artery pressure (PAP) and adverse reactions were monitored before and 3 days after treatment.SNK multiple comparison method andx2 test were performed for data before and after treatment among groups for continuous variables and categorical variables, respectively. Results The levels of pa (O2) [(79.1 ± 13.7) mmHg (1 mmHg =0.133 kPa),(77.9 ±14.6) mmHg,(85.4 ±15.2) mmHg],Sa(O2) [(87.8 ±13.4)%,(88.4±15.6)%,(96.1±15.9)%],pa(CO2)[(42.5±11.3) mmHg,(40.2 ±10.5) mmHg,(35.6 ±8.7) mmHg] and PAP [(31.1 ± 8.1) mmHg,(30.4 ± 9.5) mmHg,(25.8 ± 7.3) mmHg] were all improved significantly in CMV + SIL group,HFOV group and HFOV + SIL group compared with those in CMV group[(69.9 ± 12.3) mmHg,(81.1 ± 14.9)%,(48.1 ±9.5) mmHg,(35.6 ±8.9) mmHg] (F =4.629 3,3.673 2,5.865 3,4.849 5,P <0.05),especially for HFOV + SIL group(P < 0.05).No significant difference in such indicators was observed between CMV + SIL group and HFOV group (P > 0.05).The effective rate in HFOV + SIL group (90%) was the highest among the 4 groups (x2 =7.938,P < 0.05).During the treatment, all neonates have no adverse reaction. Conclusion The combined use of SIL and HFOV might be a more effective and safer method in the treatment of PPHN of neonate.

The paper is to report the establishment of a method for the determination of multi-residue organochlorine and pyrethroid pesticides in traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs). Fifty-six pesticides were extracted by high-speed homogenization, and then purified through gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridges. The residues were simultaneously identified and quantified by GC-ECD equipped with dual tower, dual column and two micro-ECD detectors. The analytical performance was demonstrated by the analysis of 3 TCMs samples' extracts, spiked at three concentration levels for each pesticide. In general, the recoveries ranging from 70% to 110%, with relative standard deviations (RSDs) better than 15%, were obtained. The limit of detection (LOD) for most of the targeted pesticides tested was below 0.01 mg kg(-1). The method had good extraction efficiency, purification effect and good reproducibility, which could be applied to the determination of organochlorine and pyrethroid pesticide residues in the routine analysis of TCMs.

Objective:To investigate the application and curative effect of fat grafting in supraorbital area in double blepharoplasty in patients with negative vector of the eyelid- globe. Methods:From January 2019 to January 2020, 78 patients who came to Fuzhou Meilai Huamei Beauty Hospital for double blepharoplasty were collected as patients with negative eyelid- globe vector. The patients were randomly divided into 2 groups, with 42 cases in the combined group and 36 cases in the simple group. The combined group underwent double blepharoplasty combined with fat grafting in the supraorbital area, and the simple group only underwent double blepharoplasty. Results:The postoperative follow-up was 3-12 months, with an average follow-up of 6 months. The efficacy of the combined group and the simple group was compared. There was no surgical complications in both groups. In improving the eyelid-globe vector, the combined group was higher than that of the simple group. The overall satisfaction of the combined group was higher than that of the simple group. Among them, the satisfaction of eye appearance, self-confidence, mental health, surgical results, decision-making and facial rejuvenation were all higher than those of the simple group, and there was no difference in the impact on early life between the two groups. Conclusions:Double blepharoplasty undergoing fat grafting in the supraorbital area at the same time are safe and conforms to the aesthetic standard. The patients are satisfied with the postoperative effects.
