Corin is a kind of type II transmembrane serine protease.Recently, its application in cardiovascular field like hypertension, heart failure, coronary heart disease (CHD) etc.have received more and more attention.The present article made following review on research progress of Corin in cardiovascular field.

Objective To explore the value of SUV in patients with ascites of unknown cause.Methods A total of 55 patients (24 males,31 females,average age 54.8 years,age range:23-82 years) with ascites of unknown cause who underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT scan were retrospectively enrolled in this study.SUVmax and SUVmean of ascites and liver were measured and their ratios (T/NT) were calculated and compared by two-sample t test.All patients were followed up and had final diagnoses.Sensitivity,specifici ty,accuracy,positive predictive value and negative predictive value were calculated respectively.The diagnostic efficiency was compared among 18F-FDG PET/CT tumor localization alone,ascites radioactivity and ascites cytology examination by x2 test or Fisher exact test.Results Besides the high metabolized primary lesions and/or metastasis,the liver and spleen swamped by ascites with high radioactivity were visualized on MIP images.The SUVmax and SUVmean of malignant ascites were 1.78±0.65 and 1.37±0.38 respectively,which were higher than those of benign ascites (1.11±0.36 and 0.72±0.22; t=4.13,6.82,both P＜0.05).T/NT of malignant ascites was higher than that of benign ascites (SUVmax:0.64±0.20 vs 0.48±0.12,t =3.27,SUVmeax:0.68±0.17 vs 0.38±0.10,t =7.21 ; both P＜0.05).The diagnostic sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of SUV in ascites were 75.0％ (27/36),94.7％ (18/19) and 81.8％ (45/55),respectively.The sensitivity and accuracy of SUV were higher than those of cytological examination (44.4％ (16/36) and 63.6％ (35/55) ; x2 =6.98,4.58,both P＜0.05).The specificity of SUV was higher than that of tumor localization by 18F-FDG PET/CT (63.2％,12/19; x2 =5.70,P＜0.05).Conclusion Significantly higher SUVmax and SUV in malignant ascites than benign ascites were noted,which might play an adjuvant role in patients with ascites of unknown cause.

ObjectiveTo investigate the role of the benzodiazepine receptor in the amnesic effect of propofol,etomicdate and ketamine in mice.MethodsTwo hundred and eighty-eight Kunming mice of both sexes weighing 18-23 g were randomly divided into 9 groups( n =32 each):gruup normal saline + normal saline (group NN); group normal saline+ fat emulsion (group NF); group flumazenil + normal saline (group FN); group normal saline + propofol (group NP) ; group flumazenil + propofol (group FP) ;group nomal saline + etomidate (group NE) ; group flumazenil + etomidate (group FE); group normal saline + ketamine (group NK) and group flumazenil + ketamine (group NK).Normal saline 10 ml/kg was given IP at 10 min before the tests,and normal saline 10 ml/kg,fat emulsion 10 ml/kg,propofol 25 mg/kg,etomidate 3 mg/kg and ketamine 20 mg/kg at 5 min before the tests in groups NN,NF,NP,NE and NK respectively.Flumazenil 1 mg/kg was given IP at 10 min before the tests,and normal saline 10 ml/kg,fat emulsion 10 ml/kg,propofol 25 mg/kg,etomidate 3 mg/kg and ketamine 20 mg/kg at 5 min before the tests in groups NN,NF,NP,NE and NK respectively.Darkness-avoiding test,platform-mounting test and Morris water maze test were performed to assess the cognition function.The latency of response and number of error were recorded in each test.ResultsPropofol,etomidate and ketamine significanfly shortened the duration of latency of response in platform-mounting test as compared with group NN.Etomidate also significantly increased the number of error in platform-mounting test as compared with group NN,while ketamine prolonged the duration of latency of response in Morris water maze test as compared with group NN.Flumazenil significantly counteracted the above action of the 3 intravenous anesthetics.ConclusionBenzodiazepine receptor may play an important role in the amnesic effect induced by propofol,etomidate and ketamine.

Aim To study the gender-based difference in genistein metabolism in rat liver microsomes in vitro.Methods Liver microsomes was obtained from male and female rats.The optimized system of enzyme catalytic reaction of genistein in rat liver microsomes was set up.The reaction velocity of genistein in female and male rat liver microsomes was assessed by incubating genistein with CYP1A2 antibody or specific CYP1A2 inhibitor furafylline,and the percentage of the relative metabolism of genistein of CYP1A2 was derivated by using the data of the reaction velocity.Results The metabolism of genistein by microsomes was inhibited by CYP1A2 antibody(1 ∶400)after incubation for 30 min.The percentage of the control metabolism of genistein of microsomes in male and female rat were 20.95%?2.13% and 13.73%?1.26%respectively(P

Objective To investigate in vitro combined effect of ceftriaxone and azithromycin against clinical isolates of Neisseria gonorrhoeae(NG). Methods A total of 25 NG clinical isolates were collected from the STD clinic of Dalian Dermatosis Hospital in 2012. Epsilometer test(Etest)method was used to determine the minimum inhibitory concentrations(MICs)of ceftriaxone and azithromycin against NG isolates. Fractional inhibitory concentration index (FICI) was calculated to evaluate the in vitro combined effect of ceftriaxone and azithromycin against NG isolates. Results The mean MICs of ceftriaxone and azithromycin were 0.032 mg/L (range, 0.008- 0.064 mg/L) and 0.834 mg/L (range, 0.064-4.000 mg/L), respectively. The FICI ranged from 0.724 to 2.696, and ceftriaxone and azithromycin showed an additive effect against the above NG isolates. Conclusion Ceftriaxone and azithromycin show an additive effect against NG in vitro, but further studies with large sample size are needed to confirm their effects.

Multi-source satellite remote sensing technology can be used to monitor the distribution and growth status of aquatic plant species on a large scale.In this paper,C,aoyou Lake was selected as the research area.Aquatic medicine material Euryaleferox Salisb was used as the research object.The spectral characteristics of plants in Euryaleferox Salisb growing area were analyzed by ASD portable spectrometer and the remote sensing image of Pléiades and GF-1.The spectral range of species was obtained.And the decision tree algorithm model was constructed,which were used to extract the information of Euryale ferox Salisb from remote sensing images.Through verification,the results showed that the accuracy of comprehensive classification was 83％.It was concluded that multi-source satellite remote sensing image and GIS spatial analysis technology can accurately reflect the area and distribution of aquatic medicine material Euryale ferox Salisb.
