Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging 2017;25(6):447-451
Purpose To investigate the CT features of different pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP) types in AIDS as well as the relationship between different PCP types and CD4+ T lymphocyte count,in order to deepen the understanding and improve the diagnosis and treatment of PCP.Materials and Methods The CT examination data of 102 AIDS patients with PCP were retrospectively analyzed, the CT findings were divided into 6 types, and CD4+ T lymphocyte count of the 6 PCP types was statistically analyzed. Results ① The CT findings of PCP were divided into the following 6 types:transparent ground-glass type (42 cases,41.2%),muddy ground-glass type (17 cases,16.7%),solid variant (11 cases,10.8%),cystic variant (6 cases,5.9%),interstitial type (19 cases,18.6%),and mixed type (7 cases,6.9%).② The CD4+ T lymphocyte count of different PCP types was analyzed, and the difference was statistically significant (F=2.672,P<0.05).Further pairwise comparison showed that the CD4+T lymphocyte count of transparent ground-glass type was higher than that of solid variant and cystic variant (P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the other groups (P>0.05).Conclusion CT findings of AIDS with PCP have certain characteristics, and it is helpful to deepen the understanding of PCP through imaging classification. There is a certain correlation between different PCP types and CD4+T lymphocyte count, and it is helpful to improve the diagnosis and treatment of PCP by analyzing the correlation.

Objective To explore the characteristics of fetal movement and FHR variation elicited by acoustic stimulation and whether acoustic stimulation can replace vibroacoustic stimulation. Methods Ninety-four and seventy-six normal pregnant women for antenatal visit were recruited from the Woman's Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University from April 2002 to February 2003. All subjects were divided into 5 groups to be exposed to five different intensities of acoustic stimulations at 95,100,105,110,115 dB respectively and self-control of blank and vibroacoustic stimulation were designed. The fetal movements and FHR were recorded during the study. Results (1) The percentage of fetal movement evoked by 95,100,105,110,115 dB airborne sound was 15% , 89%, 83% , 83% , 95% respectively. The total percentage of fetal movement evoked by vibroacoustic stimulation was 99% for all subjects. The percentages of evoked fetal movement by 100,105,110,115 dB airborne sound were not significantly different from those by vibroacoustic stimulation. (2)The percentages of FHR acceleration ≥15 bpm in 100,105,110 and 115 dB airborne sound groups were 39%, 61%, 56% and 85%, respectively, while 92% for all cases evoked by vibroacoustic stimulation was significantly higher than those evoked by 100,105 and 110 dB airborne sound group but with no significant difference to 115 dB airborne sound group. (3)The peak value in FHR evoked by 95,100,105, 110 and 115 dB airborne sound were -4. 5 bpm, 12 bpm, 17 bpm, 14 bpm and 20. 5 bpm, respectively. The peak FHR acceleration evoked by vibroacoustic stimulation was 23 bpm which was significantly higher than those by 100,105,110 dB airborne sound and no significant difference was detected between 115 dB airborne sound and vibroacoustic stimulation group. (4)Compared with 115 dB airborne sound, vibroacoustic stimulation evoked significantly longer duration of FHR tachycardia (42. 5 s vs 5 s, P = 0. 011) and fetal movement (270 s vs 100 s, P = 0. 000). Conclusions Acoustic stimulation at 115 dB is able to elicit efficient fetal movement and FHR acceleration without prolonged tachycardia, fetal behavioral disorganization or excessive fetal movement and is reasonable to replace vibroacoustic stimulation for awaking fetuses combined with NST.

OBJECTIVE:To develop a capillary electrophoresis method for determing the enantiomer of ceftriaxone Na.METHODS:A chiral resolving agent,?-cyclodextrin,was employed as chiral additive for ceftriaxone Na enantiomeric separation by capillary electrophoresis. In different electrophoresis polarity mode, the effect of pH of background electrolyte and the concentration of ?-cyclodextrin were investigated.RESULTS:The optimal conditions for enantiomeric separation were as follows:separation voltage:28kV,buffer solution:NaH2 PO4 50mmol/L,?-CD 0.04mmol/L,Tirs 3.0mmol/L,pH7.15.CONC_LUSION:The method is simple, sensitive, rapid and accurate, and can be used for the quality control of ceftriaxone Na enantiomers. There was significant difference in contents of enantiomers of ceftriaxone Na between products of two factories. We suggest that a quality control method for ceftriaxone Na enantiomer should be established, which will provide scientific basis for quality control of drug and clinical choice of effective antibioties.

A high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method using triethylamine (TEA), copper *" acetate and L-proline as the chiral mobile phase (CMP) and the enantiomric analysis of thyroxine (T4) are described. The influence of the mobile phase parameters including the TEA concentration, manipulation pH, concentration of Cu*", concentration of L-proline, temperature of column and flow rate of eluent on the enantiomers separation of thyroxine was studied. The HPLC-CMP is a simple method for separation and determination of D,L-T4 in drug or in human plasma. It can be used to therapeutic drug or adverse drug reactions monitor.

Object To explore, on the whole, the anticancer activity and mechanism of the aqueous extract of Ruixiang Langdu (Stellera chamaejasme L.) (SCLA). Methods Mice were given different i.g. doses of SCLA and their serum collected at different intervals after drug administration. The effects of the serum on the proliferation of mouse L 1210 leukemic cells were observed with MTT assay, clone formation and incorporation of [ 3H] TdR into DNA of the cells. Results Serum SCLA collected 1, 2, 4, 8 h after administration of 3, 6, and 12 g/kg SCLA showed significant decrease of MTT formazans and clone formation. Serum SCLA collected 2 h after drug administration showed more strong inhibition of cancer cell proliferation. It also inhibited the incorporation of [ 3H] TdR into DNA of L 1210 cells. Conclusion SCLA showed a remarkable inhibitory effect on proliferation and DNA synthesis of cancer cells cultured in vitro, which may be the main anticancer mechanisms of SCLA.

The paper is to report the pharmacokinetics of furosemide in rats living at plain area and high altitude. After intragastric administration of furosemide (2.87 mg x kg(-1)), serial blood samples (0.5 mL) were collected by retro-orbital puncture at 0, 20 min, 40 min, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24 h, samples were determined by LC-MS/MS, and plasma concentration-time data were analyzed by DAS 2.0 software to get the related pharmacokinetic parameters. The main pharmacokinetic parameters: area under curve (AUC), mean residence time (MRT), the biological half-life (t1/2) and the peak concentration (C(max)) of furosemide, were significantly increased at high altitude, the time to reach peak concentration (t(max)) and clearance (CL) was significantly decreased. This study found significant changes on the pharmacokinetics of furosemide under the special environment of high altitude. This finding may provide some references for clinical rational application of furosemide at high altitude.
