Objective To investigate the relativity between c.553G/T polymorphism in exon 4 of Apolipoprotein A5 gene and hypertriglyceridemia (HTG) in Zunyi Han Nationality. Methods c.553G/T polymorphism of 103 HTG patients and 165 healthy individuals were tested by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length (PCR-RFLP) assay. The distributions of genotypes and allele frequencies in HTG patients and healthy group were analyzed between Zunyi population and others. Results The genotype frequency of the Apo A5 gene c.553G/T showed statistical difference between patients group and normal groups (P < 0.05). The distribution of ApoA5 c.553T gene in HTG was higher than the normal group significantly (P < 0.05), and it had effect on triglyceridemia level independently (OR = 15.768, 95%CI: 5.916 ~ 42.025, P < 0.001). In the normal Han nationality groups, gene frequency of Zunyi was lower than that in Taiwan, Jiangsu and Hubei (P < 0.05), but similar to that in Hunan and Xinjiang (P > 0.05). In HTG groups, gene frequency of Zunyi was similar to that in Jiangsu (P>0.05), but higher than that in Xinjiang (P<0.05) and lower than that in Taiwan (P > 0.05). Conclusion There is relativity between Apo A5 gene c.553G/T polymorphisms and HTG in Zunyi Han nationality and the differences vary across different areas. It could be an independent risk factor for HTG.

Objective To investigate the value of multislice spiral CT(MSCT,)in interventional therapy of the hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)emphasising on transcatheter hepanc arterial chemoembolization(TACE).Methods MSCT were performed in 60 cases of HCC before interventional procedure,CT findings of hepatic artery phase, portal venous phase and hepatic venous phase were observed respectively, among which CTA were done in 15 cases, and the anatomy of celiacartery and its branches were observed in 45 cases. The schemes of interventional therapy were worked out according to the findings of MSCT.Results MSCT showed 250 lesions,10 cases of tumor thrombosis in portal vein and 19 cases of hepatic arterioportal shunt. There was no significant difference between MSCT and digital subtraction angiography(DSA)in positive rate of in showing number of tumor or tumor thrombosis in portal vein(P>0.05),but the 3D construction of celiac artery branches in CTA was better than that in DSA,while angles between celiac artery and abdominal aorta in MSCT were more convenient than that in DSA.MSCT showed 5 eases of hepatic artery original abnormality, according to that in DSA.Conclusion MSCT is of importance for guidance of interventional therapy of hepatocellular carcinoma.

Objective To report one case with congenital ichthyosiform eruption, neurosensory deafness and vascularizing keratitis. Methods The overall clinical and laboratory examinations were conducted to confirm the diagnosis of keratitis, ichthyosis and deafness (KID) syndrome. Results The case presented with the typical hypotrichosis features of the eye lashes and eyebrows, alopecia of the scalp, and ophtalmological lesions. The keratotic plaques over the face, nose, ears, and the extremities were characterstic, and the skin of the trunk was leather-like, dry and hyperkeratotic. Dysplasia of cerebellum, and cystic enlargement of the fourth ventricle of cerebrum, and Dandy Walker syndrome were observed on MRI scanning. Treatment with oral acitretin for 3 weeks cleared the hyperkeratotic ichthyotic lesions on her posterior scalp and also improved other lesions on the extremities and the trunk. Conclusion Acitretin seems to be promising in the treatment of keratotic skin lesions in KID syndrome.

The Brodmann area(BA)-based map is one of the most widely used cortical maps for studies of human brain functions and in clinical practice;however, the molecular architecture of BAs remains unknown. The present study provided a global multiregional proteomic map of the human cerebral cortex by analyzing 29 BAs.These 29 BAs were grouped into 6 clusters based on similarities in proteomic patterns:the motor and sensory cluster, vision cluster, auditory and Broca's area cluster,Wernicke's area cluster, cingulate cortex cluster, and heterogeneous function cluster. We identified 474 cluster-specific and 134 BA-specific signature proteins whose functions are closely associated with specialized functions and disease vulnerability of the corresponding clus-ter or BA.The findings of the present study could provide explanations for the functional connec-tions between the anterior cingulate cortex and sensorimotor cortex and for anxiety-related function in the sensorimotor cortex. The brain transcriptome and proteome comparison indicates that they both could reflect the function of cerebral cortex, but show different characteristics. These pro-teomic data are publicly available at the Human Brain Proteome Atlas(www.brain-omics.com).Our results may enhance our understanding of the molecular basis of brain functions and provide an important resource to support human brain research.

This paper aims to discuss the ideas and experience about the radiology residency training system of Canada with a presentation of its base accreditation standards for five aspects, competency goals for seven roles, four stages of training arrangement, and two types of final assessment questions. Although the Canada's radiology residency program differs from China's standardized resident and specialist training programs for radiology, there are still several points that are worth referencing, including emphasizing the training priority of competency goals, providing a specific basis for the stratification of training, offering clear guidance for the implementation of training content, and improving assessment methods to focus on competency goals. These points are of great value for improving the standardized radiology resident and specialist training programs in China, so as to provide a reference for the training of excellent radiologists in China.
