Objective To investigate the healing mechanism of the rabbit's selerotomy sites undergoing the transconjunctival su- tureless vitrectomy(TSV),and to compare the wound healing effect of the different surgery procedures.Design Experimental study. Participants New Zealand white rabbits.Methods Thirty-two New Zealand white rabbits were divided into four groups:the core vitrec- tomy and fluid-air exchange (Group A),the core vitrectomy (Group B),the non-core vitrectomy and fluid-fir exchange (Group C) and the non-core vitrectomy(Group D).Intraocular pressure(IOP)was measured on the day preoperatively and the day 1,3,5,7,14 postopera- tively with Tonopen tonometers.Sclerotomy sites were investigated with the ultrasound biomicroscope(UBM)on the day 1,5 and 9 postoperatively,and the internal and the external diameter of the wound was estimated on the day 1 postoperatively.The pathological sections of the sclerotomy sites on the day 3,5 and 9 postoperatively were observed under the light microscope.Main Outcome Mea- sures IOP,the internal and external diameter of the wound.Results The IOP of Group A was obviously higher than the other groups on the day 1 postoperatively (P

Objective To evaluate the toxicity of intravitreal injection of triamcinolone acetonide on the cornea,lens,ciliary body and retina in rabbit eyes. Methods Thirty-two gray rabbits were divided into four groups(n=8).The rabbits were intravitreally injected with buffered saline solution(control group),4 mg triamcinolone acetonide(group B),1.3 mg triamcinolone acetonide(group C) and vehicle(group D).Intraocular pressure,scotopic and photopic electroretinogram examinations were performed before injection and at different time points after injection.Histologic and ultrastructural changes were observed 1 week,1 month and 3 months after injection. Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of one-stage cannulated screw fixation in treatment of tibial avulsion fracture at the insertion of posterior cruciate ligament(PCL) under posterior direction version and in treatment of tibial avulsion fracture at the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)under arthroscopy.Methods From January 2010 to June 2015,25 patients with tibial avulsion fractures of the posterior cruciate ligament combined with the anterior cruciate ligament in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed.Firstly,arthroscopic exploration was conducted in all patients in their horizontal position,aiming to observe whether combined injures existed or not and to confirm fracture fragments and the degree of tibial avulsion fractures of the cruciate ligaments.All patients recieved arthroscopic fragment fixation by using cannulated screws,then,were treated with a minimally posteromedial incision in the prone position by cannulated screw fixation.All knee joints were protected by adjustable orthopedic brace for 4-6 weeks.The clinical knee joint function of patients were measured by using International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) scoring scale and Lysholm scoring scale.The X-ray or CT image were used to evaluate healing process of the fractures.Results All patients were followed up for 6-24 months,the median follow-up time was 15 months.All fractures healed in one stage,time of fracture healing ranged from 9 to 24 weeks,and the median time was 12 weeks.The average IKDC scores at the finial follow-up were as follows:claudication (4.88±0.29)points,support (4.65±0.36)points,pain (4.78±0.49)points,swelling (4.88±0.52)points,squat (4.85±0.35)points,all were higher than those before operation,there were statistically significant differences when compared with those assessed before operation (P<0.05).The average Lysholm score at the finial follow-up was (93.4±2.8)points,the rate of excellent and fine was 96.0%,no statistically significant difference was found compared with that at the healthy side (P>0.05).Conclusion The one-stage cannulated screw fixation in treatment of tibial avulsion fracture at the insertion of PCL under posterior direction version and in treatment of tibial avulsion fractures at the ACL under arthroscopy is easy and convenient to operate,which has the advantages of reliable fixation and satisfactory recent curative efficacy.

Transient receptor potential vanilloid 3 (TRPV3) is a non-selective cation channel, located on cell membranes. TRPV3 is extensively expressed in various organs such as skin, brain, dorsal root ganglia, heart and colon. It's reported that TRPV3 involves in many physiological processes including sensation, skin barrier formation, hair growth and vasodilatation, and pathological processes like pruritus, cutaneous inflammatory disease and cancer. TRPV3 can respond to innoxious warm stimulation (≥ 33 ‍℃‍), endogenous substances (e.‍g., farnesylpyrophosphate) and exogenous small molecules (e.g., carvacrol, camphor and 2-APB). Recently, several natural or synthetic small molecules (e.g., osthole, 74a and dyclonine) have been shown to suppress TRPV3 activity, accompanying with therapeutic efficacy in animal models of diseases, which suggests the potential of TRPV3 as drug target. This paper reviews the research progress on the structure, physiological functions, related diseases and modulators of the TRPV3 channel to provide theoretical references for the future study on TRPV3 channel.

Psoriasis is a non-infectious chronic inflammatory skin disease. It′s acknowledged that interleukin (IL)-17 signaling pathway dominantly drives the development of psoriasis. Recently, the role of neuro-immune axis in psoriasis has attracted widespread attention. Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, has ability to block the conduction of nerve impulses, while its therapeutic efficacy on psoriasis remains to be confirmed. Here, we evaluated the therapeutic efficacy of topical application of compound lidocaine cream (LIDO) on imiquimod (IMQ)-induced mouse psoriasis model. Animal welfare and experimental procedures follow the regulations of the Ethics Committee of China Pharmaceutical University. The psoriasis area and severity index (PASI) scoring was used to evaluate the severity of psoriasis-like symptoms. Hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to examine histopathological changes and epidermal thickness was measured. Ki67 immunofluorescence staining was used to evaluate the proliferation of keratinocytes. The relative mRNA expression of inflammatory cytokines (including Il17, Il22, Il23 and Il36) in skin was measured by real-time quantitative PCR. Results show that IMQ-induced increases in the PASI score, epidermal thickness, number of Ki67⁺ cells and the mRNA expression of inflammatory cytokines are significantly alleviated by topical application of LIDO, whose therapeutic efficacy is also better than that of the positive control drug calcipotriol. Our study suggests that LIDO could be used for psoriasis treatment.

Objective To investigate the changes in the levels of motilin in the gastric body in a rat model of incisional pain.Methods Eighty-four healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats,weighing 180-220 g,were randomized into 2 groups (n =42 each):normal saline group (NS group) and incisional pain group (P group).In group P an 1 cm long incision was made in the plantar surface of right hindpaw under sevotlurane anesthesia.Six rats were chosen from each group and paw withdrawal threshold to mechanical stimulation (MWT) and paw withdrawal latency to nociceptive thermal stimulation (TWL) were measured at 24 h before operation (To) and 1,6,24,48 and 72 h after operation (T1-5).Six rats were chosen from each group at T0-5 and sacrificed and the gastric mucosal tissues were prepared for measurement of motilin levels by ELISA.Results Compared with group NS,MWT,TWL and motilin levels were significantly decreased at T1-4 (P ＜ 0.05) and no significant change was found at T0 and T5 in P group (P ＞ 0.05).Compared with the baseline value at To,MWT,TWL and motilin levels were significantly decreased at T1-4,and no significant change was found at T5 in group P (P ＞ 0.05).MWT,TWL and motilin levels were significantly higher at T3-T5 than at T1 in group P (P ＜ 0.05).MWT,TWL and motilin levels were increased gradually at T3-T5 in P group (P ＜ 0.05).The motilin levels were positively correlated with MWT and TWL (r =0.9597 and 0.9231,respectively,P ＜ 0.01) in group P.Conclusion The levels of motilin in the gastric body is significantly decreased in a rat model of incisional pain and the decreasing range is positively corre lated with the degree of incisional pain.

Objective To evaluate the changes in the levels of motilin in the duodenum in a rat model of incisional pain.Methods Eighty-four healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats,aged 6-8 months,weighing 180-220 g,were randomized into 2 groups (n =42 each) using a random number table:control group (group C) and incisional pain group (group P).The animals were anesthetized with sevoflurane.In group P,a 1 cm long incision was made in the plantar surface of right hindpaw.Six rats were chosen from each group and mechanical paw withdrawal threshold (MWT) and thermal paw withdrawal latency (TWL) were measured at 24 h before operation (T0) and 1,6,24,48 and 72 h after operation (T1-5).Six rats were chosen from each group at T0-5 and sacrificed and the duodenal mucosal tissue was prepared for measurement of motilin levels by ELISA.Pearson linear correlate analysis was performed between the motilin level and pain threshold at each time point in group P.Results Compared with group C,MWT was significantly decreased,TWL was shortened,and motilin levels were significantly increased at T1-4,and no significant change was found at T0 and T5 in group P.The motilin levels were negatively correlated with MWT (r =-0.8 910) and TWL (r =-0.8 463) in group P.Conclusion Incisional pain can promote the secretion of motilin in the duodenum.

Objective To explore the management of perioperative period on the effect of alimentary tract fistulas after gastric cancer operation.Methods The clinical data of 25 patients with alimentary tract fistulas after gastric cancer operation were reviewed.The location and time of alimentary tract fistulas,and perioperative period of patients were analyzed.Results Of the 25 patients,13 cases(52.0％) were anastomotic fistulas,1 case(4.0％) was bile fistula,2 cases (8.0％) were pancreatic fistulas,4 cases (16.0％) were small intestinal fistulas,and 3 case (12.0％) were duodenal stump fistulas,1 case (4.0％) was anastomotic and duodenal stump fistula,1 case (4.0％) was small intestinal and duodenal stump fistula.The alimentary tract fistulas generally occurred within the first or second week after gastric cancer operation.The incidence rate of gastrointestinal leakage was 64.0％ in gastric cancer with diabetes patients,56.0％ in gastric cancer with elderly patients,40.0％ in gastric cancer with anemia patients,36.0％ in gastric cancer with hypoproteinemia patients,16.0％ in gastric cancer with multivisceral excisions.21 cases of gastrointestinal leakage were healed after conservative treatment.2 cases with gastrointestinal leakage by operation treatment were healed.2 patients died,one died of intra-abdominal hemorrhage,one case died of MODF.Conclusion Strengthening the management of patients with alimentary tract fistulas after gastric cancer operation can promote the healing of fistula in perioperative period.

Objective To investigate the teaching effect of the PCMC-type (problem-originated clinical medical curriculum) pathology experiment course and clinical pathological conference (CPC) by using microscope digital system.Methods 384 undergraduates of second grade in clinical medicine major and imaging diagnosis major were chosen for the teaching reform project,all of whom were divided into experimental group (192) and control group (192),randomly,and they were taught by PCMC pathological experiment teaching and the traditional pathological experiment teaching separately.After the curriculum,statistic analysis of test score was used to analyze the teaching effect.SPSS 13.0 software diagram method was used to perform Levene variance analysis and t test to the achievement of two groups of students and the students' ability of self evaluation was investigated through questionnaire.Results The average score of the students in the experimental group (86.16 ± 3.28) in the theory exam was significantly higher than that of control group (75.63 ± 2.24) (P=0.000).And the average score of the students in the experimental group in experiment (27.10 ± 0.61) was significantly higher than that in control group (19.87 ± 0.25) (P=0.000).The questionnaire showed that compared with control group,the comprehensive ability of the students in the experimental group was obviously enhanced.Conclusion The PCMC pathology teaching is beneficial to improving the students' ability of linking theory with practice and enhancing their ability to analyze and solve problems,and obviously stimulate their interest in learning.It is worth promoting.
