1.Antagonistic Effect of Compound Danshen Tablets on Nephrotoxicity Induced by Cyclosporine A
China Pharmacy 2007;0(32):-
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the antagonistic effect of Salvia miltiorrhiza on cyclosporine A (CsA)-induced chronic nephrotoxicity. METHODS: 54 patients underwent renal transplantation were divided into 3 groups according to dosage of salvia miltiorrhiza: CsA+high-dose of salvia miltiorrhiza group, CsA+loe-dose of salvia miltiorrhiza group (trial group) and CsA control group (control group). Plasma concentration of CsA, serum creatinine (Scr), blood urea nitrogen (Bun), 24 h urines and 24 h urinary protein were recorded. The parameters of morphology and hemodynamics were compared among 3 groups. The differences of index among 3 groups were analyzed statistically. RESULTS: The level of Scr, Bun and 24 h urinary protein in CsA+high-dose of salvia miltiorrhiza group were decreased significantly while 24 h urines was increased, compared with other 2 groups. There was significant difference among 3 groups (P0.05). The intrarenal blood flow and renal arterial resistance index were increased significantly in CsA+high-dose of salvia miltiorrhiza group. CONCLUSION: High-dose of salvia miltiorrhiza combined with CsA can reduce the CsA-induced nephrotoxicity perfently.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2015;39(4):265-267
As the dressings currently used in clinic settings unflat shape in general, they can't be fitted completely on occiput, heel, elbow, knee and other body parts unflat. This paper developed one kind of foam dressing of special shape based on local anatomy. The foam dressing is waterproof and air permeable, it can cover the wound closely enough to prevent bacteria from invasion and infection. With a saturated absorption ratio of 1: 8 or higher, it can keep the wound clean and moisture by absorbing large amounts of wound inflammatory secretions and is almost completely permeable to oxygen and carbon dioxide. Assuring safety and effect meanwhile, it has better outcomes than common dressings in the same application settings.

Chinese Journal of Nephrology 2010;26(12):915-919
Objective To observe the impact of different culture conditions on the growth of the endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs) from rat peripheral blood. Methods Mononuclear cells obtained from rat peripheral blood were isolated by using density gradient centrifugation. According to the culture medium added with vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and the dishes were precoated with fibronectin or not, the mononuclear cells were divided into different groups and cultured under different conditions in vitro to compare the differences of the growth conditions. The different growth conditions were recorded and the result was calculated by statistics software. At last, the cells were identified by immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence. Results The mononuclear cells from rat peripheral blood grew in the manner of keeping close to the wall in vitro. The cells and cell colonies cultured for 7 days hinted:under the same culture conditions, precoating FN was beneficial to the adherent proliferation of EPCs (t=4.43, P<0.05; t=3.70, P<0.05). Excluding the impact of fibronectin, growth factors could promote mononuclear cells differentiation to EPCs, indicating that growth factors enhanced proliferation of EPCs (t =-13.22, P<0.01; t =-10.96, P<0.01). Immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence showed that, at day 4, 7, 10 of cells cultured, CD34 and CD133 expressions were increased gradually [(35.7±4.2)%, (60.1±3.8)%, (81.8±6.4)%; (3.2±0.9)%, (18.4±7.3)%,(32±3.8)%, respectively]; at day 14, both were decreased [(32.1±5.4)%, (1.9±2.7)%]; but Flk-1was increased at day 4, 7,10, 14 [(31.2±3.5)%, (40.6±5.3)%, (71.2±8.4)%, (81.5±4.1)%].Conclusions Fibronectin is conducive to adhesion and proliferation of EPCs. VEGF and bFGF play an important role in the differentiation of EPCs. The success culture of EPCs in vitro will provide a sufficient number of seed cells for its application in vascular tissue engineering, and offer new ideas for peripheral blood stem cell transplantation for the treatment of various diseases.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1995;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the effect of ondansetron on the analgesic efficacy of tramadol for postoperative patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA). Methods Forty ASA I - II patients aged 22-74 years, weighing 40-90 kg scheduled for radical mastectomy were randomly allocated to one of two groups : control group ( n = 20) and ondansetron group ( n = 20) . The patients were premedicated with intramuscular atropine 0.01 mg?kg-1 and diazepam 0.2 mg?kg-1. Anesthesia was induced with midazolam 0.1-0.2 mg (total dose was limited to 15 mg), fentanyl 2.4?g?kg-1 , propofol 1.5-2.0 mg?kg-1 and vecuronium 0.12-0.15 mg?kg-1 . The patients were mechanically ventilated after tracheal intubation (VT 8-10 ml?kg-1 , RR 13 bpm). Anesthesia was maintained with enflurane inhalation and continuous infusion of vecuronium. The patients were attached to a PCIA pump after operation and received PCIA with 1 % tramadol (background infusion 2 ml?h-1 , bolus dose 2 ml, lockout interval 10min) in both groups. In ondansetron group the patients received ondansetron 6 mg iv during operation and a loading dose of tramadol 1 mg?kg-1 and ondansetron 2 mg after operation before PCIA. Pain score (VAS 0-10), sedation score (0-3), tramadol consumption and the incidence of nausea and vomiting were recorded at 4, 8, 12 and 24 h after operation. Results There was no significant difference in pain and sedation scores and the incidence of vomiting between the two groups. Significantly more tramadol was consumed at 4, 8 and 12 h after operation in the ondansetron group as compared with control group (P

Objective: To research the application of perspective imaging of intense laser proton beam in tumor cells, experi-ments are carried out on an ultra-intense picosecond pulsed laser facility, and the results of perspective imaging on biological samples by high energy proton beam, which is excitated among the interaction of picosecond laser with solid target, is showed. Methods: The laser energy is 12 J, the pulse width of laser is 1.5 ps, the laser focal spot diameter is 15 μm, the coefficientf or the off-axis paraboloid lens is 1.5. The target used in the experiment is made by coating a CH film with 1 μm on the back of the 15 pan-thick Cu. The distance between the proton source (laser spot) and the ant sample is 7 mm (i.e. the object distance), the distance between the sample and the RC film is 63 mm (i.e. the image distance). The detector is a stack of RCF or CR-39 films. Results: The ant is taken as the sample, a high energy proton beam, which is excitated as above on the rear surface of target, makes a 2-dimensional perspective imaging of an ant with high contrast, nanometer spatial resolution and density reso-lution. Conclusions: The result provided possibility of the application of perspective imaging of intense laser proton beam in tumor cells.

The present study shows that mushroom juice exhibits a significanteffect on growth of L. acidophilus in reconstituted skim milk. When 5% - 10% mushroom juice was added in skim milk, they shorten generation time and the rate of lactic acid production was accelerated. After 10h incubation at 37℃ cell counts of L. acidophilus in test groups were much more than in control group, were up to 108/mL.
