One hundred and fifty patients with 70 percent or more of carotid steno-ocelusion confirmed by digital subtraction angiography were selected to analyze risk factors for its clinical symptoms. Results of analysis showed that risk for clinical symptom increased with severity of unilateral carotid stenosis (OR = 3.546,95% CI 1.515-8.300,P = 0.004).Whereas presence of "functional complete circle of Willis" was a protective factor for it (OR = 0.208,95 % CI 0.045-0.962,P = 0.045).

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2012;47(12):1593-8
This study is to investigate the effects of ubenimex on tumor cell invasion and apoptosis, dose relationship and mechanism. Immunofluorescence staining was performed to detect the expression of CD13 in HT-1080 cells. MTT assay was used to analyze the effect of ubenimex on cell proliferation. Annexin V-EGFP/PI was used to detect apoptotic cells by flow cytometry. Cell cycle was analyzed using flow cytometry. Ala-pNA was used as substrate to evaluate the effect of ubenimex on the aminopeptidase activity. Transwell assay was used to analyze the effect of ubenimex on cell invasion and migration ability. Western blotting was used to detect the expression level of CD13. MMP activity was analyzed using gelatin zymography. The results showed that ubenimex at high concentration inhibited the proliferation of HT-1080 cells (IC50: 3.8 mg x mL(-1)), and induced cell apoptosis. Cell cycle was blocked at G1 phase. Ubenimex at low concentration inhibited the aminopeptidase activity of HT-1080 cells (IC50: 8.3 microg x mL(-1)) and inhibited cell invasion, but it had no effects on the cell migration and proliferation. Ubenimex had no effects on CD13 expression and MMP activity. In conclusion, ubenimex at low concentration can inhibit the invasion ability of tumor cells by directly inhibiting the aminopeptidase activity; ubenimex at high concentration can inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells and induce cell apoptosis by a CD13-independent pathway.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2022;34(4):408-412
Objective:
To investigate the measles antibody level among residents in Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province in 2018, so as to provide the evidence for improving the measles control strategy.
Methods:
The permanent residents aged 0 to 59 years were randomly sampled from 10 townships ( streets ) in Kecheng District and Changshan County of Quzhou City. Residents' demographics and vaccination of measles-containing vaccine ( MCV ) were collected, and serum anti- measles IgG antibody was detected using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA ). The positive rate, protective rate and geometric mean concentration (GMC) of anti-measles antibody were estimated.
Results:
A total of 606 residents were tested, with a male to female ratio of 0.83∶1. The subjects had a median age ( interquartile range ) of 17.36 ( 29.07 ) years, and 399 residents ( 65.84% ) had a vaccination history of MCV. The positive rate, protective rate and GMC of anti-measles IgG antibody were 94.88%, 48.68%, and 784.51 ( 95%CI: 731.14-841.40) mIU/mL, respectively. The positive rate of anti-measles IgG antibody was higher in men than in women ( 97.08% vs. 93.07%, χ2=4.968, P=0.026 ), and the protection rate was lower in men than in women ( 44.16% vs. 52.41%, χ2=4.089, P=0.043 ). The protective rate and GMC of anti-measles IgG antibody showed a“U”-shaped distribution with age, and a low protective rate was seen in residents aged 10 to 39 years ( 23.53% to 46.67% ), which the GMC of anti-measles IgG antibody that did not reach the protective level. A total of 233 residents at age of 15 years and below had with a history of two-dose MCV vaccination, and the positive rate ( χ2trend=7.260, P=0.007 ), protective rate ( χ2trend=12.756, P<0.001 ) and GMC ( rs=-0.289, P<0.001 ) of anti-measles IgG antibody presented a tendency towards a reduction with time <1 to 11 years after vaccination of the last dose of MCV.
Conclusions
A high positive rate of anti-measles antibody was detected among residents in Quzhou City in 2018; however, the protection rate of anti-measles antibody was low among residents at ages of 10 to 39 years. The coverage of MCV vaccination is recommended to be improved among residents at ages of 10 to 39 years in Quzhou City.

China Pharmacy 2015;(18):2473-2475
OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy and safety of spraying mannatide and 5-fluorouracil in anocelia during sur-gery of lung cancer based on the adjuvant chemotherapy. METHODS:Totally 114 patients with lung cancer radical surgery were randomly divided into observation group(59 cases)and control group(55 cases). There were spraying mannatide(40-80 mg)and 5-fluorouracil(500 mg)in the observation group;and nothing drugs were sprayed in control group. The patients higher than phaseⅡ were treated by adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery for continuous 2 cycles,21 d as a cycle. The clinical data was compared, including amount of bleeding and drainage, hospital stay, complications, toxicity,KPS score, body weight changes, immune func-tion,survival rate and recurrence rates between 2 groups. RESULTS:There were no significant differences among the amount of bleeding and drainage, hospital stay and complications in the 2 groups (P>0.05). The nausea, vomiting, leucopenia, the KPS score, improvement of total effective rate, and improvement rate of body mass, immune function, survival rate in 1 and 2 year (s),recurrence rate and time within 2 years in observation group were significantly better than control group, with significant dif-ferences(P<0.01 or P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Spraying mannatide and 5-fluorouracil can reduce the toxicity in anocelia during surgery of lung cancer based on the adjuvant chemotherapy, improve the immune function and survival rate, reduce recurrence rate and prolong the recurrence time.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in pa-tients with small-cell lung cancer patients (SCLC). Methods 42 SCLC patients, 10 patients with benign lung disease(hospitalized from June 2012 to June 2013), and 10 healthy volunteers from the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University Medical College were studied and their clinical information was collected. Negative immuno-magnetic separation method and immunocytochemistry method were applied to collect the Pan-CK +/CD45 - of CTCs, in order to analyze the relationship between CTCs and clinical manifestation. Results CTCs were found in 32 cases of SCLC group, with a positive rate of 76.19%. CTCs was not found in peripheral blood in control group. Difference in the two groups is significant (P = 0.000). The presence of CTCs was correlated positively with the patients′ PS score , clinical stage , M stage , the number of metastatic sites , NSE value and LDH value (P < 0.05). Conclusion The CTCs number is correlated with patients′ PS score, clinical stage, M stage, the number of metastatic sites, NSE value and LDH value, respectively. CTCs detection is useful for more accurate risk assessment of patients.

Objective:To study the effects of secreted stem cell factor(S SCF) and transmembrane SCF(TM SCF) on the biological functions of mast cells, including proliferation, release of histamine and secretion of cytokine to explore the biological characteristics of the two forms of SCF.Methods:MTT,fluorescence technique,in situ hybridization were used to detect the several biological functions of mast cells, such as proliferation, release of histamine and the transcription of TNF ? mRNA.Results:It was shown that S SCF could significantly promote the proliferation of mast cells, release of histamine and TNF ? mRNA transcription, while TM SCF had only a weaker positive effect on histamine relase and no any effect on proliferation and TNF ? mRNA transcription. Conclusion:The biological actions of TM SCF on mast cells are different from that of S SCF.
