ObjectiveTo evaluation application of MSCTA technology in pre-and pro-liver transplantation.MethodsThirty - two patients with liver transplantation were performed with multi-phase CT scanning (MSCT).In hepatic artery and portal phase vascular 3D imaging reconstruction methods include multiple planar reconstruction ( MPR),maximum intensity projection ( MIP),volume rendering (VR).MIP images were measured with these parameters (CA,LGA,CHA,PHA,PV,SV,SMV in diameter).ResultsHepatic arterial vascular imaging scan can show clearly within the scope of the abdominal aorta,gastroduodenal artery,hepatic artery,the left hepatic,celiac trunk,and its branches.Portal vascular imaging clearly showed that the portal vein system.MIP can use accurate measurement of vascular diameter abdominal aorta and portal,superior mesenteric vein,and splenic vein diameter.Control group with liver cirrhosis and liver cancer artery diameter had no significant difference in patients with portal hypertension and the portal vein [ ( 16.7 ± 2.4 ) mm ],mesenteric vein [ ( 10.8 ± 2.1 ) mm ],and splenic vein diameter [(13.1±1.9)mm] compared to the control group[(13.8 ±1.6)mm,(8.2 ±1.7)mm,(8.9±1.1)mm ],the difference was statistically significant ( P ＜ 0.05 ). Conclusions MSCTA can show the liver artery and portal vein system of the non-invasive method of checking,Joint MIP and VR application can provide more clinical liver transplant before the hepatic artery and portal vein of information,liver transplantation arteriovenous anastomoses provides for the monitoring of vascular diameter.

Objective To develop a duplex fluorescence RT-PCR assay for detection of scavenger receptor class B, typeⅠ(SRBⅠ) knockout mice. Methods Primers and probes were designed according to knockout region of SRBⅠgene and related substituted sequence. DNA samples were extracted from tails of mice and performed amplification using real-time PCR. SRBⅠgenotypes of mice were analyzed according to amplification curves of FAM and CY5 channels. Finally, the sensitivity of the method was detected and the accuracy was verified by the direct sequencing. Results The homozygous SRBⅠwild genotype showed an amplification curve only in FAM channel. When the homozygous SRBⅠknockout genotype was present, the typical S amplification curve appeared only in the CY5 channel. Heterozygous genotype showed two typical S amplification curves in both FAM and CY5 channels, respectively. The results showed that the sensitivity reached 4×101 copies/μL, and there was complete concordance between this method and direct DNA sequencing. Conclusion The new method is simple, rapid and accurate, which is suitable for genotyping SRBⅠknockout mice.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of body weight supported treadmill training (BWSTT) for the recovery of walking ability and comprehensive function after thoracolumbar spinal cord injury (SCI).Methods Sixty patients with SCIs in a thoracolumbar segment were assigned to a treatment group or a control group with 30 in each.Both groups received similar conventional rehabilitation training,but the patients in the treatment group were additionally treated with BWSTT (30 to 40 min,once daily,5 d/week,30 days for a course,a total 3 courses).The American Spinal Injury Association lower-extremity motor function assessment (ASIA),a functional comprehensive assessment (FCA),the walking ability assessment from the FCA (WA) and the modified Barthel index (MB1) were used in the assessment of the two groups before and after treatment.Results There were no significant differences in the two groups＇ average ASIA,FCA,WA or MBI results before treatment.After treatment ASIA,FCA,WA and MBI scores had all increased significantly in the treatment group compared with before treatment,and were significantly higher than in the control group.Conclusion As a supplement to conventional rehabilitation,BWSTT can improve walking ability and comprehensive function significantly after thoracolumbar spinal cord injury.

Objective: To explore the cognitive level and the mental status of the patients suffering from perimenopausal syndrome in Shanghai, and to identify the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome distribution feature of perimenopausal syndrome. Methods: The cognitive level of the perimenopausal women was evaluated by using general living problem questionnaire. The mental status of the perimenopausal women was evaluated by using self-rating depressive scale. The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome distribution feature of perimenopausal syndrome was identified by using traditional Chinese medical symptoms questionnaire. Results: A total of 634 perimenopausal women finished the investigation. There were 74.76% (474/634) patients who knew little about the perimenopausal syndrome; 77.29% (490/634) patients had a depressive tendency; 8.36% (53/634) patients had depressive disorder. There were 72.40% (459/634) patients who had the symptoms such as susceptibility to anger and restlessness, restless sleep at night, thirst with dry throat and bitter taste, and all these symptoms could be classified into hyperactivity of heart and liver fire syndrome. Conclusion: Patients suffering from perimenopausal syndrome know little about this disease and mostly have depressive tendency, and the major traditional Chinese medicine syndrome pattern is hyperactivity of heart and liver fire based on the chief clinical manifestations of the patients.

In this paper, the chemical components, content determination and pharmacological actions of C. aurantium were summarized for the comprehensive utilization of its resources. Because of the complicated resources of C. aurantium, only one single component as index couldn't reflect the quality and effects and comprehensive evaluation which concluding multiple components should be established in the future quality control. In recent years, the pharmacological effects research of C. aurantium has made tremendous progress, and it is important to explore new drugs from the development and utilization of the active ingredient of C. aurantium. Objective: To assess the trend of statin application for in-hospital acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients with its impact factors in eastern urban China from 2001 to 2011. Methods: A 2-stage random sampling design was performed to extract representative AMI sample patients. In the ifrst stage, a simple random-sampling was used to identify participating hospitals. In the second stage, a systematic sampling was conducted in 2001, 2006 and 2011 to select the cases from participating hospitals, to take medical records and clinical information for calculating the in-hospital statin application rate. The impact factors for statin application was assessed by multi Logistic regression model with generalized estimating equations. Results: A total of 5940 AMI records from 32 hospitals were enrolled. From 2001 to 2011, the in-hospital statin use rate increased from 46.0% in 2001 to 82.2% in 2006 and to 93.7% in 2011,P<0.001 for trend. Multi Logistic regression analysis indicated that the patients with LDL-C>3.37 mmol/L were more likely to receive statin therapy than those with LDL-C<1.81 mmol/L (OR=1.59, 95% CI 1.10-2.30,P=0.013); the patients with chest pain at admission (OR=1.82, 95% CI 1.14-2.91, P=0.012), combining hypertension (OR=1.44, 95% CI 1.02-2.03,P=0.038), with in-hospital PCI (OR=2.99, 95% CI 1.71-5.23, P<0.001) were also more likely to receive statin therapy. The application rate of statin was reduced by reduced LDL-C level accordingly and the patients without LDL-C examination, accounting for 21.3%, had the lowest statin application rate. Conclusion: Statin therapy for in-hospital AMI patients was dramatically increased from 2001 to 2011 in eastern urban China and the guideline was rapidly popularized in clinical practice. However, the improvement has been needed especially in patients without LDL-C examination or with low LDL-C levels; we emphasize that AMI patients should receive statin therapy regardless their LDL-C levels.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between the expression of serum exsomal miRNA-155-5p (miR-155-5p) and prognosis in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).Methods:A total of 336 samples from ESCC patients in Fujian Provincial Cancer Hospital from October 2014 to December 2015 were collected. The relative expression levels of serum exsomal miR-155-5p were detected by using real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Cut-off value of the expression levels of serum exsomal miR-155-5p was determined by using X-tile software. Based on the optimal cut-off value, patients were divided into miR-155-5p low expression group and miR-155-5p high expression group. The survival curve was drawn by using Kaplan-Meier method and Cox proportional hazards regression model was used to make survival analysis.Results:The cut-off value of serum exsomal miR-155-5p expression level was 2.340. According to the cut-off value, patients were divided into miR-155-5p low expression group (<2.340) of 51 cases and miR-155-5p high expression group (≥2.340) of 285 cases. There were no statistical differences in age ( χ2 = 0.020, P = 0.887), gender ( χ2 = 0.283, P = 0.595), tumor location ( χ2 = 0.063, P = 0.977), differentiation grade ( P = 0.474), clinical staging ( χ2 = 3.996, P = 0.136) and surgery treatment ( χ2 = 0.941, P = 0.332) of patients in both groups. ESCC patients in serum exsomal miR-155-5p high expression had a higher risk of death compared with patients in miR-155-5p low expression group ( HR = 1.763, 95% CI 1.049-2.961, P = 0.032). Conclusion:The high expression level of serum exsomal miR-155-5p is associated with poor prognosis in ESCC patients and it could be used as a prognostic new marker in ESCC patients.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between previous bleeding history and poor prognosis of patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding.Methods:This study was a prospective multicentre real-world study (Acute Upper Gastrointestinal Real-word study, AUGUR study). The data of patients with UGIB who were admitted to the emergency department of 20 tertiary hospitals in China from June 30, 2020 to February 10, 2021 were collected. According to the number of previous bleeding history, the patients were divided into three groups (0 time, 1-3 times, and≥4 times). Based on the patient’s demographic data, clinical characteristics, laboratory data, treatment, and outcomes, univariate and logistic regression analysis were performed to investigate the correlation between the number of previous bleeding and the 90-day mortality and rebleeding of patients with gastrointestinal bleeding.Results:A total of 1 072 patients with acute UGIB were included in this study. The all-cause mortality and rebleeding rate of all patients were 10.9% (117/1 072) and 11.8% (129/1 072), respectively. Among them, 712 patients (66.42%) had no previous bleeding, 297 patients (27.71%) had previous bleeding 1-3 times, and 63 patients (5.88%) had previous bleeding≥4 times. In univariate analysis, age, vital signs and consciousness on admission, history of liver cirrhosis, onset with hematemesis, admission hemoglobin, varicose veins bleeding, peptic ulcer bleeding, red blood cell infusion, tracheal intubation and the use of vasopressors after admission were risk factors for the 90-day mortality and rebleeding rate. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that patients with previous bleeding≥4 times had a higher risk of the 90-day mortality ( OR=2.17, 95% CI: 1.04-4.57, P=0.040) and rebleeding ( OR=2.32, 95% CI: 1.19-4.53, P=0.013). Conclusions:The history of previous bleeding≥ 4 times can be used as an independent risk factor for the 90-day mortality and rebleeding in patients with acute UGIB.

Objective: To understand the incidence of school bullying and its influencing factors among adolescents in low-income and middle-income countries, and to explore the association between school bullying and mental health of adolescent students, so as to provide reference for prevention and control of school bullying and mental health intervention. Methods: Data was obtained from the 2009-2015 Global School Student Health Survey from 19 low-income and middle-income countries (n=22 963). Binary Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of school bullying, and multiple linear regression was used to analyze the relationship between school bullying and mental health. Results: The average score of students mental health was(5.75±2.09), and approximately 35.1% of adolescent students reported suffering from school bullying. The rates of school bullying among students in low-income and middle-income countries were 39.4% amd 34.3%, respectively. Students with lower grades, overweight, poor family economic status, low family learning and psychological support, poor perceived family relationship, more truancy, and poor relationship with classmates were more likely to suffer from school bullying(P<0.05). Exposure to school bullying was positively associated with adverse mental health outcomes for women(B=1.27, P<0.01). Conclusion Not only were school bullying more common in low-income countries, but also school bullying had a greater negative impact on the mental health of girls. We need to pay more attention to school bullying among adolescent students, especially in low-income countries and girls, with cost-effective interventions to reduce or mitigate the consequences of bullying.

OBJECTIVE: To establish a multiplex STR genotyping method for autosomal STR and Y-STR loci in forensic biological practice. METHODS: Widely used autosomal STR loci and Y-STR loci were selected. A set of PCR primers was designed, and a 5-dye fluorescent labeled STR multiplex PCR reagent kit was developed. RESULTS: A kit was developed which can simultaneously detect 15 autosomal STR loci, 10 Y-STR loci, and an Amelogenin. CONCLUSION The 15 autosomal STR plus 10 Y-STR kit in combination with capillary electrophoresis method was used to STR genotyping with accurate and reliable results. The new one-step testing kit can potentially be widely used in forensic cases and DNA databank in the future.
