The development and progression of atherosclerosis and thrombosis are closely related to changes of hemodynamics parameters. Ultrasonic pulse wave Doppler technique is normally used for noninvasively blood flow imaging. However, this technique only provides one-dimensional velocity and depends on the angle between the ultrasound beam and the local velocity vector. In this study, ultrasonic particle image velocimetry method was used to assess whole field hemodynamic changes in normal blood vessels. By using the polynomial fitting method, we investigated the velocity gradient and assessed the shear in different blood flow velocity of 10 healthy rats. It was found that using four polynomial fitting could result in optimal measurement results. The results obtained by ultrasonic particle image velocimetry accorded with the results obtained using Doppler technique. The statistical average of cyclical vessel wall shear stress was positively related to the locational mean velocity. It is proven that ultrasonic particle image velocimetry method could be used to assess directly the real-time whole field hemodynamic changes in blood vessels and was non-invasively, and should be a good prosperous technique for monitoring complex blood flow in stenotic ar- teries.

3. Simultaneous determination of three nucleosides in Cordyceps sinensis by QAMS
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2015;50(15):1297-1300
OBJECTIVE: To establish a quantitative analysis of multi-components by single-marker (QAMS) method for determination of uridine, guanosine and adenosine in Cordyceps sinensis. METHODS: Adenosine was used as the marker to calculate the relative correction factors (RCF) for uridine and guanosine by using high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). Both QAMS method and external standard method (ESM) were performed to determine the three kinds of nucleosides in Cordyceps sinensis. RESULTS: There were no significant differences between the two methods. CONCLUSION: The developed QAMS method is feasible to evaluate the quality of Cordyceps sinensis.

AlM:To study the treatment effect of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of high myopia macular hemorrhage, using Chinese medicine etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation treatment, and provide the basis for the clinical treatment. METHODS: Eighty patients ( 135 eyes ) with high myopia macular hemorrhage were selected in the hospital from January 2012 to september 2014 as treatment group, and applied traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Forty-five patients (64 eyes) with the same period, as the control group, received routine western medicine treatment. After 1mo treatement, the treatment effect and vision improvement situation of two groups were observed, and after 6mo follow-up, the relapse was observed.RESULTS: The total effective rate of treatment group was 85. 19% (115/135), higher than the control group 78. 13% (50/64) (P<0. 05). The average corrected visual acuity of treatment group was 0. 48±0. 11, higher than the control group 0. 36 ± 0. 09, the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). The average diopter and macular bleeding scope of the treatment group were -9. 81±0. 85D and 0. 51 ± 0. 27PD, lower than the control group -10. 76 ± 0. 91D and 0. 78 ± 0. 23PD, the differences were statistically significant ( P < 0. 05 ). The eye ground hemorrhage absorption time of treatment group was 25. 34±2. 28d, less than the control group 29. 72 ± 2. 13d, the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). The bleeding again of the control group 7. 81% ( 5/64 ), higher than the treatment group was 5. 19% (7/135), the difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05).CONCLUSlON: Evidence-based treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for high myopia macular hemorrhage has good clinical effect, can shorten the treatment time, and is beneficial to the recovery of postoperative vision, worthy of clinical popularization and application.

Objective To understand the mechanism of cerebral energy failure after hypoxia ischemia at the molecular level and to establish the protocol for the safe and effective treatment of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE).Methods One hundred neonatal rats were divided into normal control group and hypoxic-ischemic(HI) group. SD rats of both groups were decapitated at the time of 2 h,24 h,48 h,72 h and 7 d after HI.These tissues of cerebrum, cortex and hippocampus were taken out to explore the influence of HI on the expression of GLUT1 and GLUT3 genes with the method of RT-PCR.Results There was an enhancement in the expression of GLUT1 and GLUT3 genes with the increasing of day age. The expression was more intense in hippocampus than that in cortex. However, HI could significantly enhance the expression of GLUT genes. The expression was higher in cortex than that in hippocampus. The expression of two genes reached the peak at 24 h after HI, but was significantly lower than that in control group at 7 d after HI.Conclusion The increased expression of GLUT genes can maintain the energy supplement for the brain and delay a cascade reaction of cerebral energy failure.

Objective To compare the efficacy and complications of percutaneous nephroscope decortication of cystic renal disease with transureteroscopic decompression of cystic renal disease. Methods Retrospectively analyze the clinical data of 42 simple renal cyst cases, who under treatment of surgical in Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University from Sep.2010 to Sep.2014 via percutaneous nephrolithotomy as well as ureteroscope. There were 21 patients in each group.Comparisons were made between the two groups on operation time, peripheral tissue injury, blood loss, postoperative infection, hospitalzation time.Postoperative recurrence were followed up.Results For the percutaneous nephroscope decortication of cystic renal disease group and transureteroscopic decompression of cystic renal disease group, the operation time were (38.43 ± 9.76) minutes,(28.95 ± 8.67) minutes, the number of tissue injury were 8,6;the blood loss were (28.62 ± 9.82) mL,(23.48 ± 7.65) mL;the number of postoperative infection was 4,10;the postoperative recurrence were 2,5;the hospitalzation time were 2 days and 8 days.Compared with the transureteroscopic decompression group, the percutaneous nephroscope decortication group had a less postoperative infection and fewer postoperative recurrence (P < 0.05).But the operation time was longer in the percutaneous nephroscope decortication group (P < 0.05).Conclusions The therapeutic effect of percutaneous nephroscope decortication is much better than that of transureteroscopic decompression, but also has a little disadvantage.

We analyzed the laboratory detection results from the first case of human infected with avian influenza (H5N6) in Hubei Province,in order to provide a better basis for preventing and controlling human avian influenza in the future and a detected strategy for the detection of suspected cases of human avian influenza for the staff in the laboratory. The case data of epidemiological survey and related laboratory detection results of specimens of infection virus from the different time piont and kinds of specimens were analyzed by descriptive epidemiological methods. The H5N6 nucleic acid from the only early sputum specimens were detected, and while the others were not detected. In conclusion the different specimens of the doubtful H5N6 case should be collected, and the early sputum samples are very important and should be collected and detected.
