OBJECTIVE:To investigate therapeutic efficacy of bifidobacteria triple viable bacteria combined with infliximab in the treatment of moderate and severe ulcerative colitis(UC),and its effects on immune function. METHODS:Seventy-two UC pa-tients were selected from gastroenterology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University during Jun. 2009 to Jan. 2015. They was divided into single group and combination group according to therapy plan,with 36 cases in each group. Single group was given infliximab 5 mg/kg,ivgtt,on 0,2nd,6th,8th week. Combination group was additionally given bi-fidobacteria triple viable bacteria 420 mg,tid. Both groups were treated for consercutive 2 months. Clinical efficacies were com-pared between 2 groups as well as the levels of humoral immunity and T cell function. The occurrence of ADR was observed in 2 groups. RESULTS:Clinical response rate of combination group was 86.11%,which was significantly higher than 52.78% of single group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in humoral immunity and T cell function between 2 groups(P>0.05). After treatment,the levels of CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ were significantly increased in both 2 groups,while the levels of CD8+,Th1 and Th2 were significantly decreased;the combination group was significantly better than the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05);there was no statistical significance in CD3+ between 2 groups before and after treatment(P>0.05). After treatment,the levels of IgA and IgG were increased significantly in 2 groups,and the level of C3 was decreased significantly;the combination group was significantly better than the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05);there was no statistical significance in IgM content and C4 level between 2 groups before and after treatment (P>0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Bifidobacteria triple viable bacteria combined with infliximab shows significant therapeutic efficacy in the treatment of moderate and severe UC, and can significantly improve humoral immunity function and the recovery of T cell level,with good safety.

Objective:To explore the clinical application in urinary system stones of the inspection technologies intravenous pyelography (IVP),computer tomography urography (CTU) and magnetic resonance urography (MRU). Methods:We collected 100 cases of urinary system stones on which 80 were carried out to IVP,60 to CTU and 35 to MRU,25 patients were implemented all 3 examinations. CTU and MRU are reconstructed with multi-level reorganization (MPR),curved projection reproduction (CPR),volume reproduction (VR) and the maximum intensity projection (MIP). Results:Stones were found in 73 patients of the 80 people by IVP,the diagnosis rate is 91.3 %. Stones were found in all the 60 patients except 1 by CTU with images direct and accurate,the diagnosis rate was 98.1 %. By the MRU,stones were found in 20 of the 35 patients at a display rate of 57.1 %,with images displayed in a low stone location signal,filling defect and the hydrocele circs of renal pelvis and ureter. Conclusion:IVP is a simple method,easy-to-patient acceptance and has a high detection rate of stones; CTU has a good image quality and the detection rate is higher than the stone IVP. By combining with the original cross-sectional image,the rate of diagnosis is up to 98%; as a non-invasive and no contrast agent approach,MRU is also very important in the diagnosis of stones.

Objective:To explore the effect of Citalopram on clinical symptoms of chronic schizophrenia and life quality of female patients.Methods:52 female patients with chronic schizophrenia were divided into the research group(n=30)and the control group(n=22).Originally used drugs were retained for both groups , Citalopram was added in research group, and placebo was added in control, both for 12 weeks.PANSS, GQOLI-74, CGI-SI were used to evaluate the effects. Results:At the end of treatment, the total scores of PANSS, factor scores of negative symptoms, general psychopathology, lack of reaction, and depression significantly decreased in the research group (data P

0.05).Conclusion The immunofunction was impaired considerably by chemotherapy.Rhodiola L.can enhance the immunofunction considerably.

AIM: To observe the effect of intraocular lens ( IOL) implantation on visual acuity and contrast sensitivity in patients with cataract.
METHODS: Fifty - eight cases ( 72 eyes ) cataract patients with regular cornel astigmatism, in our hospital from May 2014 to May 2015 were randomly divided into two groups to undergo phacoemulsification and IOL implantation: the observation group: 29 cases (36 eyes) received multifocal toric IOL implantation; the control group: 29 cases (36 eyes) received monofocal toric IOL implantation. Uncorrected distance visual acuity ( UCDVA), uncorrected near visual acuity ( UCNVA), best corrected distance visual acuity (BCDVA), the best corrected near visual acuity ( BCNVA ), total eye astigmatism, and the dark contrast sensitivity were observed for these patients at 1 and 6mo after cataract surgery.
RESULTS: There were no statistical significant difference between the two groups at postoperative 1, 6mo on UCDVA, BCNVA, BCDVA and total eye astigmatism(P>0. 05). UCNVA of observation group at 1 and 6mo were better than those of control group ( P <0. 05); there were statistically significant difference in high frequency comparison at the sixth postoperative months (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: Both monofocal toric IOL implantation, and aspheric multifocal toric IOL implantation for cataract with regular corneal astigmatism are effective to improve visual acuity. But the latter treatment would contribute to the improvement of uncorrected near visual acuity and the dark contrast sensitivity.

Objective To explore the effect of educational mode on children' s social adaptive capacity (SAC) through investigating its change of children into kindergarten one year later. MethodsFor this study, participants were divided into three groups, namely study group (SG), control group Ⅰ ( CG Ⅰ ) and control group Ⅱ( CG Ⅱ ). ①SG :30 ～ 47-month-old children at their entrance at one kindergarten of Xi' an city were study by the follow-up study method. There were 119 participants in this trial except 22 lost- visitors. The scores of children's SAC were evaluated at their entrance time and one year later respectively, according to the Social Adaptation Scale for Infant-Junior Middle School's Student Revised by Zuo Qi-hua. ②Control group(CG) :The children,whose classes were randomized,of five classes were divided into CG Ⅰ and the other four classes were CG Ⅱ. There were 107children aged at 30 ～ 46 months in CC Ⅰ , 94 children aged at 42 ～ 59 months in CG Ⅱ. The scores of their SAC were also evaluated according to the same scale on September 2006. The cross-section investigation were used to CG Ⅰ and CG Ⅱ. Results① The mean total score of SAC in SG was higher at one year later ( 10. 52 ± 0.77 ) than that at their entrance time( 10.22 ±0.52) (P＜0.01) ,and the total score of SAC in SG was lower at their en trance time than that of CG Ⅰ (10.49 ±0.06)(P＜0.01 ). ②There was no significant difference in children's SAC between SG at the final stage( 10. 52 ± 0.77 ) and CG Ⅱ(10.40 ± 0.67 ) (t = 1.500, P ＞ 0.05). ③There were no significant difference in children's SAC between boarding care mode( 10.34 ± 0.68 ) and day care one( 10.32 ±0.56) (t = 0.182, P ＞ 0.05 ). ④There were no significant difference in children' s SAC between male ( 10.42 ±0.73) and female( 10.51 ±0.68) in the kindergarten.. ConclusionThe gathered living mode can promote the child SAC development, and the boarding care mode or day care one in one year has no effect on children' s SAC.

The concept and methods of evidence-based medicine(EBM)has been evolved to impact almost all fields of health care and policy since it first appeared in 1992.but in the field of dentistry or stomatology,many problems remain to be solved in carrying out EBM.The necessity and feasibility of implementing evidence-based dentistry education in China were discussed in this paper for chnical evidence-based decision making and clinical research.The contenk teaching approach and accreditation tools for EBM in dental education were also proposed.

Objective:To explore the effect of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 on the mast cell tryptase (MCT) in asthmatic guinea pigs. Methods:A total of 60 male or female healthy guinea pigs were randomly divided into control group (group A), asthmatic group(group B), and 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 group(group C), with 20 cases in each group. To establish asthmatic guinea pig models, 1ml peanut oil was filled into stomach in the morning in group A and group B , and 1ml peanut oil with 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 was filled into stomach in group C. Airway resistance (Re) of asthmatic guinea pigs was detected, and the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) cells were counted. Lung tissue with HE and MCT immunohistochemical staining were used to observe the pathological changes in lung tissue and the distribution of MCT. Results:After injection of different concentration of acetylcholine chloride, the Re in group B and group C were increased significantly compared with group A (P<0.05);compared with group B, the Re in group C were decreased significantly (t=-5.385, -5.761, -6.184,-13.574, P<0.05);the total number of BALF cells and eosinophils were increased significantly in group B and C (t=19.618, 9.598, 10.854, 5.388, P<0.05);compared with group B, the total number of BALF cells and eosinophils in group C was decreased significantly (t=-5.555,-5.392, P<0.05);the number of tryptase positive cells in group B was increased significantly than that in group A (t=21.312, P<0.05), and in addition to the alveolar septum and submucosa, the cells were also distributed around blood vessels and outside the cells; the number of tryptase positive cells in group C was decreased significantly compared with group B, and the difference was statistically significant (t=5.043, P<0.05). Conclusions:After the asthmatic guinea pigs are treated with 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3, their BALF, Re, infiltration degree of inflammatory cells in the trachea and lung tissue and airway inflammatory reaction are reduced significantly. 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3has a certain inhibiting effect on the activation of mast cells and the release of MCT granules.

We developed a three-dimensional finite element model of the shoulder glenohumeral joint after shoulder arthroplasty including humerus shaft, scapular, scapular cartilage and eight muscles, while each of the muscles was simulated with 50 spring elements. To reduce the element number and improve the analytical precision, we used mixed tetrahedral and hexahedral elements in the model. We then used the model to calculate the biomechanics of the shoulder glenohumeral joint after hemiarthroplasty during humeral external rotation. Results showed that the maximum joint reaction force was 374.72 N and the maximum contact stress was 6. 573 MPa together with the contact areas at 40 degrees external rotation. These might be one of the reasons for prosthetic disarticulation, and would provide theoretical bases to prosthetic design.
