1.Diagnoses on Pharmacology Cognizing Among Five-year and Three-year Systems Students

Objective:To analyze and compare pharmacology cognizing between five-year and three-year systems students in medicine to provide materials for teaching innovation.Method:To gather feedbacks from the students and to analyze and induce the cases by EXCEL software.Results:The effectiveness of medicament is the focus.But five-year and three-year systems students concern different problems.57.1% questions raised by three-year system students are about the effectiveness and the effective factors of medicament,while 53.2% by five-year system students are about the effectiveness and the mechanism of medicament.Conclusion: There have been certain differences of pharmacology cognizing between five-year and three-year systems students.
2.Study on the HPLC Fingerprint of Glycyrrhizae Dispensing Granules

Objective:To establish an HPLC method for the fingerprint determination of glycyrrhizae dispensing granules. Meth-ods:Twelve samples were analyzed by HPLC with glycyrrhizic acid as the reference. The analysis was performed on a Waters SunFire C18 column(250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm) with the mobile phase A of acetonitrile and the mobile phase B of 0. 1% phosphoric acid solu-tion with gradient elution. The flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1 , the detection wavelength was 237nm, and the column temperature was 30℃. Results:By analyzing the fingerprint, 21 peaks existed including the peak of liquiritin and glycyrrhizic acid. The similarity of the samples was more than 0. 97. Conclusion:The established HPLC fingerprint of glycyrrhizae dispensing granules is dependable and simple. The method can provide scientific basis for the quality control of glycyrrhizae dispensing granules.
3.Study on HPLC Fingerprint of Polygonum Cuspidatum Dispensing Granules

Objective:To establish the HPLC fingerprint for Polygonum cuspidatum dispensing granules. Methods:The HPLC fin-gerprint of 12 batches of Polygonum cuspidatum from different manufacturers were determined. The analysis was performed on a Waters SunFire C18 column(250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5μm)with acetonitrile as the mobile phase A and 0. 05% phosphoric acid solution as the mo-bile phase B with gradient elution. The flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1 ,the detection wavelength was 230 nm,the column temperature was 30℃,and the injection volume was 10μl. Results:The results were calculated according to“similarity evaluation system for tradi-tional Chinese medicine chromatographic fingerprint”nominated by CFDA combined with the analysis of the HPLC fingerprints. Totally 14 common peaks with similarity above 0. 98 were found in the HPLC fingerprint of Polygonum cuspidatum,including the peak respec-tively for polydatin and emodin. Conclusion:The method can provide more information for the quality control of Polygonum cuspidatum dispensing granules.
4.Regulation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on lymphocyte proliferation of type Ⅰdiabetic rats

Objective:To investigate the regulation mechanisms of the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on lymphocyte pro -liferation of type I diabetic rats .Methods:The rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were isolated , cultured and identified and the effect on lymphocyte proliferation of type Ⅰdiabetic rat was observed by MTT assay , and analyze the CD 4 +CD25 +regulatory T cell ra-tio, cell cycle and apoptosis of type I diabetes rat by flow cytometric .Results:B and C groups was significantly lower than the absor-bance values of group A,the differences between the data were statistically significant (P<0.05), C group was significantly lower than group B absorbance values, the difference was significant (P<0.05);the CD4 +CD25 +regulatory T cells of B and C groups were sig-nificantly higher than group A, the differences of the data were statistically significant (P<0.05), the CD4 +CD25 +regulatory T cell ratio of C group significantly higher than that group B , the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the apoptosis levels of B and C groups were significantly higher than group A , the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05), the apoptosis levels of C group were significantly higher in group B , the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Bone marrow mesen-chymal stem cells can significantly inhibit lymphocyte proliferation of type Ⅰdiabetic rats, and it may regulate CD4 +CD25 +regulatory T cells, promote apoptosis, thereby affecting the immune function of T lymphocytes , and play its rejection.
5.Conformal radiotherapy for elderly patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer

Objective To evaluate the effect of conformal radiotherapy for elderly patients with adva nced non-small-cell lung cancer. Methods From November 1998 to June 2001, 24 elderly patients with advanced non-small -cell lung cancer were treated with conformal radiotherapy. ResultsOne-year, two-year and three-year overall survival rate for the entire group are 91 67%, 54 16%, 43 33%. No patients developed acute radiation pneumonitis . According to the univariate analysis, significant prognostic factors included superior vena cava syndrome, Karnofsky performance status scores and gross tumo r volume. Conclusions Conformal radiotherapy improve the effect in elderly patients with advanced no n-small-cell lung cancer.
6.Effect of polyethylene glycol 3350 plus electrolytes on the constipation induced by clozapine

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of Polyethylene glycol 3350 plus electrolyte bulk on the schizophrenia patients with constipation induced by clozapine. Methods 150 cases of schizophrenia inpatient and outpatient with constipation induced by clozapine treatment were selected and randoly dirided into the group of polyethylene glycol,lactulose group and non-intervention group with 50 patients in each group and each patient or their families signed the informed consent. The treatment groups took orally with Polyethyle ne glycol 3350 plus electrolyte 13. 7grams,2 times per day and lactulose oral solution 10ml,3 times per day respectively. The non-intervention group was not given a regular basis laxatives, but with cathartic therapy in demand. The period of experiment was 6 weeks including 2 weeks baseline observation period and 4 weeks treatment. Assessment criteria: an overall assessment of all symptoms of patients and each patient's constipation and safety parameters were assessed. Results After treatment for 4 weeks,the total effective rate in three groups was 90.0% ,68.0% ,38.0% (all P <0.05). The difference was statistically significant. The normal shape of stool rate was 84.0% ,60.0% ,28.0%. PEG group were better than the other 2 groups at baseline in the first defecation time,the average times of bowel movements per week,theutilization of laxatives during treatment, while symptom score improvement in the stool was significantly better than other groups after treatment. The safety parameters including liver and kidney function, lectrolytes, glucose, ECG, symptoms of schizophrenia such as PANSS score had no obvious change in each group after treatment. Conclusion PEG 3350 plus electrolytes was effective and safe in the treatment of clozapine-indueed constipation in chronic schizophrenia.
7.Comparison of Contents of Forsythoside A and Forsythin in Fructus Forsythia and Its Dispensing Granule

Objective To compare the contents of forsythoside A and forsythin in Fructus Forsythia and its dispensing granule. Methods HPLC-gradient elution method was used with SunFire C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5μm), mobile phase A of acetonitrile and B of acetic acid, flow rate of 1.0 mL/min, detection wavelength of 277 nm, and column temperature at 30 ℃. HPLC was used to determine the contents of forsythoside A and forsythin in Fructus Forsythia and its dispensing granule, and compare the difference between the two contents. Results The content of forsythoside A in dispensing granule was less than that of raw material of Fructus Forsythia, and the concentration of the major components in the commercial Lianqiao Granule were not equivalent to that in the decoction of Fructus Forsythia. The content of forsythin in dispensing granule was equivalent with that of raw material of Fructus Forsythia. Conclusion The original formula granule production process needs to be improved, and the standardized criteria for the quality control and reasonable quality standard of granule should be established.
8.The effects of functional appliance and multi-bracket appliance on Class II malocclusion coupled with verti-cal and transversal problems

Objective: To evaluate the effects of functional appliance and multi-bracket appliance on Angle Class II malocclusions coupled with vertical and transversal problems. Methods:Headgear-activator, Herbst appliance and multi-bracket appliance were used to treat 20 patients with Class II malocclusions coupled with vertical and transversal problems aged from 10 to 15 years. The lateral cephalograms were measured with Winceph 8. 0 software and statistical analysis was carried by SPSS 13. 0 software. Results:The sagi-tal, vertical, transversal problems had mainly been resolved at the end of functional appliance treatment. The SNB were increased( P<0. 05), ANB were decreased(P<0. 05), upper posterior teeth were intruded and distally moved(P<0. 05), lower posterior teeth were extruded and mesialy moved(P<0. 05). After multi-bracket appliance treatment, the anterior teeth achieved normal overbite and over-jet. The molar relationship changed from class II to class I. Mandibular plane angle was not clockwise rotated(P>0. 05). The upper and lower dentition were harmony in sagital, vertical and transversal. Conclusion: Functional appliance combined with multi-bracket appliance can be used effectively and conveniently for the treatment of Class II malocclusions coupled with vertical and transversal prob-lems.
9.Analysis on Sulfur Dioxide Residues in Chinese Herb Pieces Stored in Our Hospital

Objective:To analyze the current situation of sulfur dioxide residues in Chinese herb pieces through determining the residues in Chinese herb pieces purchased by our hospital to provide the information for the quality control of Chinese herb pieces in our hospital and ensure the clinical medication safety. Methods:The methods for the detection of sulfur dioxide residues described in Chi-nese Pharmacopoeia 2010 edition and the relative literatures were adopted. Totally 100 batches of Chinese herb pieces were selected randomly from the storage waiting products, including 10 categories of 36 batches with the limitation of 400 mg·kg-1 and the other categories of 64 batches with the limitation of 150 mg·kg-1 . Results: The sulfur dioxide residues in 14 batches were out of limits, and among them, 7 batches were over 400 mg·kg-1 and the other 7 ones were over 150 mg·kg-1 . The unqualified rate was 19. 4%and 10. 9% for the samples with the limitation of 400 mg·kg-1 and 150 mg·kg-1 , respectively. Conclusion:The detection method is simple, reproducible and rapid in determining sulfur dioxide residues in Chinese herb pieces. The exceeding standard situation of sulfur dioxide residues in Chinese herb pieces is serious, and the management on Chinese herb medicines with sulphur fumigation should be strengthened by manufacturers. Hospitals should implement the determination of sulfur dioxide residues before storage to en-sure drug safety.
10.Quality of life and its influencing factors among permanent colostomy patients

Objective To explore the quality of life and its influencing factors among permanent colostomy patients. Methods Totally 219 permanent colostomy patients were recruited by convenient sampling method from January 2013 to December 2014 and investigated by Stoma Quality of life-Chinese Version, Stoma self-efficacy Scale, Stoma Self-care Scale-general version , and demographic questionnaire. Data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0. Results The score of Stoma-QoL-C among permanent colostomy patients was (54.86±12.17) points, which showed a dynamic V-type change as time went by. The quality of life of patients with colostomy for 1 to 3 years was especially low (50.46±13.77) points, P<0.01. The influencing factors of quality of life among permanent colostomy patients included self-efficacy, body image change, family members′acceptance of stoma except their spouses and self-care ability, while self-efficacy was the most important influencing factor. Conclusions The enterostomal nurses should pay more attention to the quality of life of the patients who have had colostomy for 1 to 3 years, enhance the patients self-efficacy and self-care ability, and help the patients to accept their body image changes and their family members′acceptance of stoma to improve their quality of life.
