From March 2004 to March 2005, 43 patients (49 hips) admitted to Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Fushun Central Hospital for minimally invasive total hip arthroplasty (THA) were selected, including 22 male and 21 female aged 22-79 years. All patients underwent THA with cementless prosthesis. The preoperative Harris scores were (46.2?5.3). For comparison, 35 patients (43 hips) were selected undergoing standard THA at the same period, including 22 male and 13 female, aged 31-78 years; 16 patients underwent THA with mixed prosthesis (cementless prosthesis for acetabulum; cemented prosthesis for the femur), and the others with cementless prosthesis. Their preoperative Harris scores were (43.4?4.6). The perioperative bleeding, operation time, incision length, postoperative functional recovery, and prosthetic position were compared. The THA was succeeded in all patients, and all subjects were followed up for 13.1 months averagely. Objective To analyze the risk factors for traumatic cerebral venous sinus occlusion (CVSO)and to investigate the strategies of early diagnosis of traumatic CVSO. Methods The clinical data of 212 patients with moderate to severe closed traumatic brain injury from January 2012 to December 2015 were analyzed retrospectively. Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the risk factors for traumatic CVSO. Results Of the 212 patients with traumatic brain injury, 16.5%(35/212) patients had CVSO. Ten patients had CVSO of thrombotic type (typeⅠ), 16 patients had CVSO of compression type (typeⅡ), and 9 patients had CVSO of mixed type (typeⅢ). Logistic regression analysis showed that skull fracture (OR = 8.141; 95%CI: 3.224-20.840) and epidural hematoma of crossing venous sinus (OR = 3.179; 95%CI: 1.470-7.037) were the risk factors for CVSO, and the former was more significantly correlated with CVSO. Female gender was the risk factor for CVSO typeⅠ(OR =10.425; 95%CI: 1.831-30.053), epidural hematoma of crossing venous sinus was the risk factor for CVSO typeⅡ(OR = 5.766; 95%CI: 1.885-18.197), and skull fracture, epidural hematoma of crossing venous sinus, and the previous history of vein thrombosis was the risk factors for CVSO type Ⅲ(OR =18.005, 4.596, 11.394; 95%CI: 2.021-58.836, 1.144-19.525, 1.436-46.558). Conclusions In the early diagnosis of traumatic CVSO, the crossing venous sinus fracture line and epidural hematoma should be given attention. Attention should be paid to the history of venous thrombosis. MR venography and CT venography contributes to early diagnosis of CVSO.

BACKGROUND: There are many studies on the effect of different experimental parameters on the tetragonal phase of zirconia, but it is unclear whether pH values have effects on the tetragonal phase in hydrothermal reactionOBJECTIVE: To prepare two zirconia systems via hydrothermal method and to regulate the tetragonal phase purity and control the grain size of zirconia (ZrO2) crystal by pH values.METHODS: Analytical reagents Zr(NO3)4?5H2O and Y(NO3)3?6H2O were adopted as reactors, and nano-sized neat ZrO2 and yttria-stabilized tetragonal ZrO2 polycrystal (Y-TZP) powders were synthesized using the hydrothermal method. X-ray diffraction was adopted to characterize the influence of pH values and pH regulators (NaOH solution and ammonium hydroxide/NaOH solution) on phase purity and grain size of tetragonal zirconia.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Pure zirconia samples with a grain size lower than 20 nm were obtained through the hydrothermal method, and samples with higher tetragonal phase content compared to monoclinic phase could be derived when the pH value was higher than 10. The optimal pH values for neat zirconia and Y-TZP were 13 and 12,respectively. Furthermore, the ammonium hydroxide/NaOH solution was more favorable to enhance the content of tetragonal zircona. Therefore, the control of pH values and rational choice of pH regulators can improve the tetragonal phase purity and grain size of zirconia.

Objective To explore the effect of predictively nursing care for children with congenital large-sized nevus.Methods 142 cases of children with congenital large-sized nevus were treated by surgical resection,based on the principle of voluntary and informed patients,and order of children admitted to hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group,and the two groups of children were 71 cases.Children in the control group received routine care;children in the observation group received nursing care support.Comparison of the two groups of children with treatment compliance and the satisfaction of paediatric patients' family,postoperative recovery and complicatians were observed.Results Observation group of patients treatment compliance was significantly higher;the difference was significant (P＜0.05).Observation group of children family satisfaction was significantly higher [97.2 ％ (63/71) vs 88.7 ％ (63/71)],the difference was significant (P ＜ 0.05).1,3,6,and 9-month postoperative follow-up was observed in children with recovery of the observation group were better than the control group;the difference was significant (P＜0.05).After nine months the two groups of children were cured.Group of children were observed without serious complications;redness developed in 1 patient in the control group and skin graft necrosis developed in 2 patients.Conclusions Pediatric patients with congenital large-sized nevus with predictively nursing care measures have better clinical efficacy,worthy of promoting.

Objective: To prepare and characterize the polyclonal antibody against KIAA0649 and identify the localization and the functional motif of KIAA0649. Methods: Three polypeptides were synthesized based on the bioinformatics analysis of KIAA0649 protein. New Zealand rabbits were immunized with the mixture of the three KIAA0649 peptides coupled with keyhole limpet hemocyanin ( KLH). The titer of the antisera was detected with ELISA. The antisera were purified with immuno-affinity chromatography when the titer reached 1:10~5. Western blot was performed with the purified antisera on the cell lysates of U2OS cells transfected with either Flag-KIAA0649 or KIAA0649-targeting siRNA. Immunofluorescence was performed with the purified antisera and anti-Flag antibody on the cells transfected with FlagKIAA0649. A series of Flag-K1AA0649 deletion mutants was constructed by PCR cloning. The cellular compartmentation of full-length Flag-KIAA0649 and its deletion mutants were analyzed with immunofluorescence. Results: The results of Western blot and immunofluorescence demonstrated that the antisera from the KIAA0649 polypeptides-immunized rabbits specifically recognized endogenous and exogenous KIAA0649. The full-length Flag-K1AA0649 displayed specific nuclear foci. The Flag-KIAA0649 deletion mutant containing PENF motif showed the same nuclear foci as the full length of Flag-KJAA0649, suggesting that the PENF motif could be the minimum functional motif of KIAA0649. Conclusion: We have obtained anti-KIAA0649 polyclonal antibody which will be useful for further investigation. The PENF motifcould be the minimum functional domain of KIAA0649.

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture (EA) combined with tuina for chronic tension-type headache (CTTH). Methods:A total of 97 CTTH cases were randomly allocated into an observation group (n=52) and a control group (n=45). Patients in the observation group were treated with EA plus tuina based on pattern identification, whereas patients in the control group were treated with oral amitriptyline and oryzanol. Patients in both groups were treated for 8 weeks. A follow-up was conducted 3 months after the treatment. The intensity, duration, and frequency of the headache were recorded and compared before and after the treatment. Additionally, the patients' psychological state and quality of life (QOL) were compared between the two groups. Results:There were intra-group statistically significant differences in headache intensity score, headache duration, and headache frequency after the treatment and during the follow-up compared with those before the treatment (allP<0.05); and there were between-group statistically significant differences during the same time frame (allP<0.05). The Hamilton depression scale-17 items (HAMD-17) and Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) scores were significantly reduced in both groups after the treatment or during the follow-up (allP<0.01); and there were no between-group statistical significances during the same time frame (allP>0.05). The World Health Organization quality of life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF) scores were significantly reduced in both groups after the treatment or during the follow-up (allP<0.05); and the scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (allP<0.05) during the same time frame. The total effective rate was 88.0% in the observation group, versus 71.4% in the control group, showing a significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion:EA combined with tuina can significantly decrease the frequency of chronic tension-type headache, alleviate headache intensity, shorten headache duration, and improve the patients' wellness. It is better than amitriptyline plus oryzanol.

Objective:To understand the related factors of tic disorders(TD) and early intervention among schoolchildren.Methods:Using stratified-cluster random sampling techniques,4,020 children were selected from 61,836 schoolchildren in Daxing district of Beijing.Totally 4,020 children and their parents were asked to fill in a self-designed questionnaire covering both motor and vocal tics and general information.A three-stage procedure was used:screening,interview and clinical investigation.A total of 3,813 children were investigated successfully.The children who were reported with tic symptoms as well as those who were reported by their teachers or classmates were surveyed according to the TD criteria in Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-Fourth Edition(DSM-Ⅳ).Eighty-six TD children were investigated respectively about the related factors of TD,and 86 healthy children matched in age,sex and grade were selected as controls.Telephone interview was carried out to find the doubtful TD cases in family members.Those people identified as having tics underwent a semistructured interview to determine whether they had TD according to DSM-Ⅳ criteria.Related risk factors of TD were investigated according to self-designed formulary medical history sheet. Results:Positive TD inheritance family history(7.0%),abdominal delivery style(36.0%),carbonate drink(10.5%),obesity(14.0%) and psychological stress were risk factors of TD(P<0.05).The multivariate analysis of variance indicated that inheritance family history,delivery style,dwelling environment,carbonate drink,parent-child relation,hobby,underachieve,self-care ability were closely related to the high incidence of TD (P<0.05).Conclusion:The occurrence of tic disorders may be related to multiple interacted factors.Early intervention is most important.

Objective To explore the value of multislice CT (MSCT)in the diagnosis of complex congenital heart disease (FCHD)in children.Methods 41 children cases with clinical diagnosis of congenital heart disease were collected randomly.All the children were examined with MSCT and ultrasonic cardiogram(UCG)examination,and 20 cases were examined with cadioangiography(CAG) check.All the cases were confirmed by surgery.The results of Preoperative MSCT,UCG and the CAG heart examination diagnosis were compared with surgical diagnosis results.Results Surgery confirmed 225 deformities and 1 1 5 intracardiac malformations.In the intracardiacmal malformations,the accurate diagnostic rates of MSCT,UCG,the CAG were 92.2%,99.1% and 74.4%,respectively;With surgery confirmed 110 heart malformations,the accurate diagnostic rates of MSCT,UCG,the CAG were 98.2%,84.5%,96.2%,respec-tively.The combined use of MSCT and UCG confirmed 224 correct diagnoses,the diagnosis coincidence rate reached 99.6%;The check accuracy of MSCT was highter than UCG in congenital heart disease with heart malformations(χ2 =12.962,P <0.05),The differences has statistical significance.Conclusion The check accuracy of MSCT is better in the diagnosis of congenital heart disease.The joint application of MSCT and UCG can obviously improve the accuracy of the diagnosis of congenital heart disease and congenital anoma-lies.
