Objective To explore the influence of stereoscopic vision on the development of posterior capsule opacification (PCO) after intraocular lens implantation. The efficacy of Nd: YAG laser was studied. Design Case-controlled study. Participants 57 consecutive patients with POC(59 eyes with phacoemulsification and IOL implantation). Methods A prospective observational study was conducted comprising 57 patients (59 eyes) who had postoperative PCO. Neodymium: YAG (Nd: YAG) laser posterior capsulatomy was performed on all patients following a standardizes procedure. Preoperative and postoperative evaluation included LogMAR visual acuity, best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA), contrast sensitivity and stereoscopic vision. Main Outcome Measures LogMAR visual acuity, BCVA, contrast sensitivity and stereoscopic vision. Results The average LogMAR eyesight median of sick eye before laser treatment was (0.22?0.31) and the contrast sensitive degree of each frequency area was relatively lower than the opposite eye; After the treatment, there was evident improvement of the sick eye, and the LogMAR eyesight median of that was 0.00; The ratio of reaching the central spatial eyesight and the average sharpness degree both improve much than ahead of treatment. Those whose spatial eyesight sharpness don't get normal after the low best remedy eyesight. Irregular dipodic and previous eye disease. Conclusions LogMAR visual acuity, BCVA, contrast sensitivity and stereoscopic vision were damaged markedly with PCO. Our results indicate that Nd: YAG capsulotomy may affect the reconstruction of stereoscopic vision. Nd:YAG laser posterior capsulotomy is a valuable and clinically relevant method for clinical treatment of PCO.

Objective To explore the aesthetic effect of the applying the expanded skin flap to re-pair facial defects produced by removal of nevus, hemangioma, scars and so on. Methods The experience of the treating 67 patients with facial lesions using the expanded flaps were reviewed. The proper expand-ers were chosen according to the scope of the facial lesion. The incision was located at the scar region and the dissection was executed in the superficial layer of the SMAS. The interspace was larger than the ex-pander by 1.0~1.5 cm. After exact hemostasis, the expanders and negative pressure drainage tubes were placed into the interspace. The design of the facial expanded skin flap included the advance, rotation, and transposition of skin flap and so on. The advance of skin flap took fully use of the expanded skin flap without the donor site defect. The transposition of skin flap also took fully use of the expanded skin flap, furthermore, it overcame the displacement and the disfiguration caused by the applying of the advance skin flap and rotation skin flap. The incisions in face were designed to a minimal extent and parallel to the Lan-ger line. Results All of the 67 cases got aesthetic satisfied results with all the flaps surviving. Conclusion The application of expanded skin flaps is proved to be an effective way of repairing facial wound when there is enough normal facial skin for expansion.

Chinese Journal of Applied Physiology 2011;27(1):46-50
OBJECTIVETo measure the content of arginine vasopressin (AVP) and V1b receptor expression in the brain areas in rats of both genders and after rotatory stimulation and thereby, to identify the involvement of AVP in the mechanisms of motion sickness.
METHODSSD rats were rotated about a horizontal axis for 30 min, the content of AVP and the expression of V1b receptors in some brain areas were then measured with radioimmunological analysis and immunofluorescent method respectively.
RESULTSWe proved that: (1) In female rats, the content of AVP in each area we measured in rotation group did not show any significant change compared with that in control group (P > 0.05). In male rats, the AVP content of control group in each area was higher than that of female rats, but reduced by rotatory stimulation in forebrain, diencephalon and pontine (P < 0.05 or 0.01), however, the changes in the cerebellum and medulla of rotation group were not significant (P > 0.05). (2) The positive cell number of V1b receptor expression in the supraoptic nucleus of female rats in rotation group was lower, but higher in the vestibular nucleus and area postrema than that in control group (P < 0.05 or 0.01). In male rats, the V1b receptor positive cell number in the supraoptic nucleus and vestibular nucleus of rotation group did not show significant change compared with that of control group (P > 0.05), but a slight increase in the medulla of rotation group rats was observed (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe gender difference in the susceptibility of motion sickness is potentially associated with the discrepancies in AVP content in the forebrain, diencephalon and pontine, in the expression of AVP-V1 receptors in the vestibular nucleus and area postrema, and in responses to rotatory stimulation, and that the vestibular nucleus and area postrema may be the areas targeted by AVP V1 receptor antagonist for antimotion sickness.

Journal of International Oncology 2015;(7):508-511
Objective To study the expressions of apoptotic protease activating factor-1(Apaf-1)and astrocyte elevated gene-1(AEG-1)in colonic carcinoma,and to explore their correlations with the clinical path-ological features. Methods The expressions of Apaf-1 and AEG-1 were detected in 63 colonic carcinoma sam-ples and 30 normal colonic mucosa adjacent to tumor nest by immunohistochemical method,and their correla-tions with clinical features of colonic carcinoma were analyzed. Results The positive expressions of Apaf-1 and AEG-1 in colonic carcinoma were 23. 81%(15 / 63)and 68. 25%(43 / 63),respectively. The positive expre-ssions of Apaf-1 and AEG-1 in normal colonic mucosa were 76. 67%(23 / 30)and 26. 67%(8 / 30),respec-tively. The positive expression rate of AEG-1 was significantly higher in colonic carcinoma than that in normal tissue(χ2 = 14. 192,P = 0. 000). However,the expression of Apaf-1 was signi-ficantly lower in colonic carci-noma than that in normal tissue(χ2 = 23. 497,P = 0. 000). The expression of Apaf-1 was negatively correlated to the expression of AEG-1(r = - 0. 339,P = 0. 007). The expressions of AEG-1 and Apaf-1 were associated with differentiation degree(χ2 = 4. 643,P = 0. 031;χ2 = 12. 034,P = 0. 001)and clinical stage(χ2 = 6. 628, P = 0. 010;χ2 = 8. 246,P = 0. 004),but they were not correlated with age(χ2 = 1. 462,P = 0. 227;χ2 =2. 401,P = 0. 121)and tumor size(χ2 = 0. 333,P = 0. 564;χ2 = 0. 590,P = 0. 442). Conclusion The expression of AEG-1 is up-regulated in colonic carcinoma,but the expression of Apaf-1 is down-regulated,with a significant negative correlation. Apaf-1 and AEG-1 may be closely related to the occurrence and development of colon carcinoma. Therefore,combination detection of Apaf-1 and AEG-1 may be more valuable for the prog-nosis evaluation of colonic carcinoma.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2015;(1):92-96
Aim To investigate the protective effect of cinnamic aldehyde ( CA ) on hormone-induced osteo-clasts proliferation and bone resorption in vitro and its molecular mechanisms. Methods RAW264. 7 cells induced into osteoclast were treated with RANKL and M-CSF and then were divided into control group, dexa-methasone ( DEX ) group and different doses of CA (11. 6, 23. 2, 46. 4 μg·L-1 ) groups. OCs were ob-served after tartrate resistant acid phosphatase( TRAP) staining. The cell proliferation was determined by MTT assay at different time points. The expression levels of TRACP5 b in cell cultured supernatants were measured by ELISA. RT-PCR technique was applied to examine the transcriptional levels of RANK and NFATc1 . Re-sults In MTT assay, the proliferation of osteoclasts stimulated by dexamethasone was promoted seriously compared with negative control group ( P < 0. 05 ) . Meanwhile, DEX could strengthen the content of TRACP5 b and up-regulate the expressions of RANK and NFATc1 mRNA. After administration of CA, the proliferation was inhibited, while the enhanced expres-sion of TRAP5b was reversed, and the over-expressions of RANK and NFATc1 mRNA were obviously down-regulated in a time-and-dose-dependent manner ( P <0. 05 ) . Conclusion The results suggest that CA in-hibits proliferation and bone resorption of osteoclast in-duced by DEX, which may be mediated by down-regu-lation of RANK and NFATc1 mRNA.
