Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of 18F-FDG PET/CT features of spinal tuberculosis.Methods 18 F-FDG PET/CT imaging manifestation of 125 cases (70 males,55 females,average age 44.3 years) with osseous or mixed vertebra bone destruction from January 2006 to June 2014 were analyzed retrospectively.The patients included 32 cases with spinal tuberculosis (50 lesions,study group) and 93 cases with other diseases (150 lesions,control group).The corresponding FDG PET/CT features were analyzed by two classification logistic regression (Forward:LR),then FDG PET/CT features with statistical significance in diagnosis of spinal tuberculosis were obtained.The sensitivity and specificity of those FDG PET/CT features were calculated.Results Odds ratio (OR) of FDG PET/CT features with statistical significance in diagnosis of spinal tuberculosis from high to low were paraspinal cold abscess (20.790),cold zone(10.528),intervertebral disc involvement(5.394),continuous vertebral involvement(3.493).The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity were 22.0％ (11/50),99.3％ (149/150) forcold abscess,70.0％ (35/50),90.0％ (135/150) for cold zone,82.0％ (41/50),83.0％ (125/150) for intervertebral disc involvement,82.0％ (41/50),78.0％ (117/150) for continuous vertebral involvement,respectively.Spinal tuberculosis often had two or more signs.The continuous vertebral involvement + intervertebral disc involvement was most common,with the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of 78.0％ (39/50) and 88.7％ (133/150).The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of continuous vertebral involvement+intervertebral disc involvement+cold zone were 58.0％ (29/50),96.0％ (144/150),and those of four features conourrence were 14.0％ (7/50),100％ (150/150),respectively.Conclusion Regression analysis shows that FDG PET/CT features with statistical significance in diagnosis of spinal tuberculosis are paraspinal cold abscess,cold zone,intervertebral disc involvement,continuous vertebral involvement,which have high diagnostic sensitivity and specificity.

Objective To compare the clinical outcomes and safety of synchronous vs staged bilateral total hip arthroplasty (THA).Methods Fifty-eight cases (116 hip joints) undergone bilateral THA from January 2008 to January 2010 were reviewed retrospectively.Follow-up period was postoperative 2 years,including synchronous bilateral THA in 29 cases (synchronous group) and staged bilateral THA in 29 cases (staged group).The two patient groups were compared in aspects of total operation time,total amount of blood loss,total amount of blood transfusion,duration and cost of hospitalization,postoperative discrepancy in bilateral leg length,preoperative and postoperative function score and perioperative complications.Results During the follow-up,no complications of incision infection,deep vein thrombosis and prothesis dislocation or loosening were noted.And postoperative delirium symptoms occurred only in four cases (three in synchronous group and one in staged group).There were no statistical differences between synchronous group and staged group in aspects of total operating time [(117.9 ± 23.8) minutes vs (124.1 ± 18.8) minutes],total amount of blood loss [338.1 ml (180-720 ml) vs 303.9 ml (200-600 rnl)],total amount of blood transfusion [227.6 ml (0-800 ml) vs 189.7 ml (0-400 ml)],postoperative function score.However,differences of the following data were considered statistical significance between synchronous group and staged group:expense of hospitalization [9.5 ten thousand yuan (7.0-11.3 ten thousand yuan) vs 10.5 ten thousand yuan (8.8-11.0 ten thousand yuan)],length of hospitalization [(12.1 ±3.2) days vs (20.1 ±3.5) days],postoperative discrepancy in bilateral leg length [(0.11 ± 0.22) cm vs (0.42 ± 0.44) cm].Conclusions Synchronous bilateral THA is safe and feasible as far as the patients' physical condition is allowed,perioperative management is rational and physicians have mature surgical techniques.Moreover,it gains advantage over staged bilateral THA considering cost of hospitalization,length of hospitalization and postoperative discrepancy in bilateral leg.

Objective To improve the quality standard for Yangxue Anshen Pills. Method TLC was used to identify caulis spatholobi and herba ecliptae, and HPLC to determine the content of emodin. Results The TLC spots of caulis spatholobi and herba ecliptae were clear. The linear range of emodin was 0.009 92～ 0.124 0 ?g. The average recovery rate was 96.2%, and RSD was 1.1%. Conclusion The methods are simple and accurate, with good reproducity.

Objective This study aimed to explore the relationship between the traumatic experience in childhood and onset of obsession in adulthood,and the character of family environment of obsession patients.Methods Using Y-BOCS and CAT and FES-CV to evaluate 41 cases with OCD and 36 normal subjects respectively.Baaed on these scales,an edited interview schema for a semi-structured interview was choosed with both groups for 50 minutes respectively.Results ①Tbe whole score and scores of two subscales on punishment,negative-environment in CAT were all obviously higher in patients with obsession [(50.16± 21.03),(12.03±4.24),(19.77±9.74),for punishment:P<0.05,for others:P<0.01],and there were a significant difference in the two groups[(35.35±14.78),(9.92±2.51),(12.54±8.14)].The negative environment was chosen in regress equation,and could explain 14.67% of outcome of obsession. ②The scores of 4 ubacaies like cohesion,expressiveness,intellectual-cultural orientation,active-recreational orientation [(5.13±2.28),(4.10±2.12),(2.71±1.87),(2.52±2.34)] ,were all obviously lower than the normal control in FES-CV.While the subscore of conflict (5.03±2.21) was higher than the normal control(3.50±2.40),and all these differences were significant.When two factors of active-recreational orientation and cohesion in FES-CV were put into regression equation( R2 =0.2078 ,R2 =0.2784),they contribute 27.84% and the disease,and the active-recreational orientation factor can explain 20.78%.③The result of interview found significant difference between obsession groupand control group in parental personality,own personality,childhood experience,and family environment.Condusion The traumatic experience in childhood and unhealthy family environment do have association with onset and development of obsession,also they have a close relationship with the development of personality after adulthood.

Objective To investigate the changes of blood lipid,endothelin(ET)and carbohydrate tolerance in simple obesity children.Methods Serum total cholesterol(TC),triglyeride(TG),low density lipoprotein(LDL),endothelin(ET) and oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT) of 436 cases(light obesity group 242,moderate obesity group 138,heavy obesity group 56) were detected respectively.Results The levels of TC,TG,LDL,ET and OGTT in 3 simple obesity groups were all higher than those in control group obviously and there were significant differences.The significant positive correlation between the obesity children serum lipids,ET and obese degrees were observed.Four insulin resistant children were found in heavy obesity group and none in other groups.Conclusions The levels of serum lipids and ET increases in obesity children and the OGTT decreases in some heavy obesity children.For preventing the obesity related health problems,the simple obesity children should be paid more attention to earlier.

Objective To explore a better method to diagnose the brachial plexus injury as pre-or post-ganglionic,which is quick,simple,quantitative,cheap and accurate.Methods Forty-five SD rats were divided randomly ino pre-or post-ganglionic brachial plexus injury models group,and the choline acetyl- transferase(CHAT)activity was detected by using the radioisotope after different days.Results The ChAT activity of two groups both fall day by day:in the pre-agnglionic group,it falls quickly,and reach 1/10 of nor- mal(675?258)cpm;in the post-ganglionic group,it falls slowly,and reach 1/2 of normal even after 90 days (4906?1119)cpm.Conclusion Intra-operative measure of ChAT can be used to differentiate pre-or post- ganglionic brachial plexus injury.

Objective: To study the construction and application of a vector with Cre recombinase recognition site lox66 for mouse HPRT gene targeting in embryonic stem(ES) cells. Methods: Using the HPRT genomic DNA fragment and synthesized oligonucleotides, pSP HPRT lox66 Neo was designed and constructed as a replacement vector by common molecular cloning techniques. After the linearized pSP HPRT lox66 Neo DNA was electroporated into ES cells, and transfected cells were cultured in G418/6 TG drug selection medium. The recombination efficiency of this vector was tested. Results: The main components of pSP HPRT lox66 Neo were a positive selection gene Neo, lox66, long and short homologous fragments of mouse HPRT gene and plasmid backbone. Twenty ES cell clones with HPRT gene inactivated were obtained. Conclusion: An effective replacement vector with Cre recombinase recognition site lox66 is constructed and applied to HPRT gene targeting in ES cells.

Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation of high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) and fibrinogen with carotid artery arteriosclerosis of patients with cerebral infarction. Methods One hundred and thirteen patients with cerebral infarction were assigned as study group, and 102 healthy persons as control group. The levels of serum hsCRP and Fib in the two groups were measured. The carotid artery arteriosclerosis and carotid intimal-medial thickness (IMT) were examined by color Doppler and B-ultrasound. Results The value of IMT between study group and control group was statistically significant. The positive rates of carotid artery arteriosclerosis plaque and vulnerable plaque in study group were significantly higher than those in control group (all<0.05) . The level of serum hsCRP was significantly higher in study group than that of control ( <0.05) . The level of serum Fib between study group and control group was not statistically significant ( >0.05) . Conclusion The level of hsCRP was closely related to the degree of carotid artery arteriosclerosis and the occurrence and development of cerebral infarction. But the level of Fib was not closely related to the degree of carotid artery arteriosclerosis.

Objective To study the effects of Lentinan on bleomycin A5’s inhibition effects in hemangioma-derived endothelial cell. Methods Hemangioma-derived endothelial cell line EOMA were divided into LTN group (only lentinan treatment), BLE group (only bleomycin A 5 treatment), L+B group (Lentinan and bleomycin A5 treatment) and CON group (no lentinan and bleomycin A5 treatment). Cell proliferation, cell cycle, PI and apoptosis were detected and compared among four groups. Results The differences of absorbance in LBE group was significantly higher than that in L+B group after treatment for d 1-d 7 (P<0.05), but both of them were significantly lower than in CON group and LTN group (P<0.05). The G 0/G 1 stage and apoptosis rate in L+B group was significantly higher than in BLE group(P<0.05), while it was significantly lower in S stage, G 2/M stage and PI(P<0.05). Conclusion Lentinan could significantly promote bleomycin A5’s inhibition effects on hemangioma-derived endothelial cell.
