1.Attitudes toward disabled persons among undergraduated students
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2005;11(9):772-773
ObjectiveTo understand basically the attitudes of undergraduates toward disabled persons. MethodsScale of Attitudes toward Disabled Persons edited by Antonak was used to analyze the factor structure of attitudes of undergraduates toward disabled persons with 650 undergraduates as sample. ResultsThere was significant difference in the factor of Optimism-Human Rights between male and female, and some correlation between the attitudes and the experience of contact with disable persons or not. ConclusionIt is necessary to carry out some education of disability knowledge and rehabilitation.

3. Construction of expression vector for NT4-ADNF-9 fusion gene
Academic Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University 2009;21(2):104-108
Objective: To construct the prokaryotic expression vector bearing fusion gene NT4-ADNF-9 and lay foundation for further study on genetic therapy of neurosensory deafness. Methods: By means of asymmetrical primer/ template, double stranded cDNA of activity dependent neurotrophic factor-9 (ADNF-9) was obtained, which included restriction enzymes sites on the two extremities. ADNF-9 cDNA was ligated to the signal and leader peptides of neurotrophin 4 (NT4), and the fusion gene was named NT4-ADNF-9. Then it was subcloned into prokaryotic expression vector pBV220, and called pBV220/ NT4-ADNF-9. Results: Evidences of DNA sequence analysis and restriction enzymes digestion showed that we recombined ADNF-9 cDNA to the 3′terminal of the signal and leader peptides of NT4, and the fusion gene was subcloned into pBV220 successfully. Bioactivity of the products was proved that it could support the cell survival and neurite growth in the primary cultures of dorsal root ganglia (DRG) of embryonic day-8 chicken neurons as compared to the control. Conclusion: Prokaryotic expression vector pBV220/NT4-ADNF-9 can be constructed successfully and the bioactivity is satisfactory.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(11):1080-1081
Objective To study the rehabilitation for batches of the wounded suffering from the earthquake in hospital. Methods 91 cases of trauma occurring in the earthquake were reported. Results There was no dead and any complication happened. 90 cases could self-care as they discharged. Conclusion Multiple specialty rehabilitation would be effective on the wounded suffering from earthquake.

Objective:The purpose of this study is to investigate the feasibility of labeling skin of inner mongolia cashmere goats with BrdU,and to optimize its immunohistochemical conditions. Methods:We injected different dose of BrdU into the neck vein of cashmere goats, then we took samples from the back skin of the goats, fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde.Next the samples were embedded with paraffin and sectioned. We examined the samples with immunohistochemical technology to test the effect of the influencing factors to labeling results as the BrdU injection, such as dosage, the concentration of second antibody and streptavidin-peroxidase,the way of antigen pretreatment, and DNA denature temperature. Results:We observed red BrdU positive cells in labeled goats whereas not in the control.Meanwhile,in the samples of the unlabeled goats or those incubated with PBS,no nuclear staining is observed. Conclusion:BrdU can be used for labeling of inner mongolia cashmere goats in vivo, which have no obvious dosage effect. The best condition of labeling is that puttig the section in 2 mol/L HCl 30 min at 37℃,in trypsin 30 min at 37℃.The most appropriate concentration of biotin-conjugated second antibody and streptavidin-peroxidase is 1∶100,under which the results of immunohistochemical are the best.

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(12):-
Objective Based on the health standards for arsenic in drinking water recommended by WHO (0.01 mg/L) and adopted by decentralized rural water supply in China (0.05 mg/L), to explore the conditions of arsenic metabolism and levels of methylation in population consuming drinking water with different concentrations of arsenic. Methods Three hundred and forty-eight adults in Shanxi exposed to different concentrations of arsenic(≥0.05 mg/L, ≥0.01-0.05) in arsenic species , TAs , first methylation ratio (FMR) and SMR in lower exposure group and the control group. In higher exposure group, the FMR of adults aged over 60 years was significantly higher than that in groups of 18-39 years old and 40-49 years old (P0.05). Conclusion In higher exposure group, the 2nd reaction of the metabolic pathway is more active in female than that in male, and arsenic methylation capacity of the higher age group arise. No significant effects of gender and age on arsenic methylation capacity is found among population exposed to drinking water with lower level of arsenic.
