The animal experiments,clinical researches and epidemiological investigations indicated that genistein has the effect for prevention and treatment of osteoporosis,cardiovascular disease and cancer.Genistein can inhibit cellular and humoral immunity and can regulate cell apoptosis.The chemical structure,biological effects and the mechanism of genistein attracted much attention.The current research advance on genistein was summarized and the prospect on the theoretical significance,clinical importance was presented in this paper.
2.Progress of effects of hypothyroidism during pregnancy on the offspring

Hypothyroidism is one of the most common endocrine disorders in childbearing or pregnant women.Gestational hypothyroidism can increase the incidence rate of the variety of pregnancy complications and adverse pregnancy outcome.It also can make adverse effects on the fetus and neonate,such as death,placental abruption,fetal malformation,intrauterine growth retardation and preterm,low birth weight,neonatal respiratory distress syndrome,it can also cause abnormal thyroid function of neonate,severely can cause nerve,mental,physical and mental developmental abnormalities and even death.Therefore,it is recommended that childbearing women who are at high risk for pregnancy should strengthen to monitor pregnancy thyroid function and treat as soon as possible in order to reduce the adverse effects on offspring.
3.Analysis of Narcotic Drug Use from 2002 to 2005 in Our Hospital

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the current situation and trend of narcotic drug use in our hospital where the authors work in order to provide the reference for scientific management and rational use of these drugs. METHODS: The yearly amount of narcotic drugs administered in the whole hospital, the yearly amount in the separate departments, as well as drug expenditures and ratios between January 2002 and November 2005 were added up and analyzed statistically. RESULTS: The amount of bucinnazine use dominated in the first. The amount of morphine for oral use was increasing year by year. The amount of fentangl transdernal patch use was also bigger and increasing rapidly. However, the amount of pethidine and morphine for injection use was decreasing. CONCLUSION:Analgetics for oral and transdermal use will be the main categories of analgetics in the future.
4.Radiographic diagnosis of vertical root fracture.

Vertical root fracture (VRF) is different from odontoclasis caused by trauma or injury. VRF is defined as a complete or incomplete fracture of roots caused by long-term and persistent stimulus, such as excessive forces from mastication or occlusion, improper tooth anatomy, and tooth treatment accident. Early diagnosis of VRF is essential to prevent the absorption of alveolar bone, thereby improving prognosis. Radiographic examination is the most common and effective evaluation method for VRF. Cone beam computed tomography can provide three-dimensional information for fracture details, which are more precise than traditional periapical films. In this paper, we present the radiographic features, differential diagnosis, and new treatment techniques for VRF.

5.Diagnosis value comparison of 256-slice CT and 64-slice CT in pulmonary embolism

Objective To compare the value of 64-slice CT and 256-slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of pul-monary embolism.Methods A retrospective analysis CT pulmonary angiography of pulmonary embolism clinical cases,65 cases were in our hospital ,256-slice CT and 64-slice CT angiography were performed within 3 days of onset . The two kinds of inspection equipment for pulmonary embolism detection rate were analyzed and compared , and its image SNR, in contrast to noise ratio ,average scan time and the average dose of contrast agent used for comparison . Results The two devices display rate of pulmonary embolism was 100.0%,in the noise,image SNR,contrast to noise ratio,scan length,the 256-slice CT and 64-slice CT was no significant difference (P>0.05).The average 256-slice CT contrast agent was (4.45 ±1.37) mSv,64-slice CT was (5.68 ±1.06) mSv,there was significant difference between the two (t=2.77,P<0.05),an average of 256-slice CT scan time was (3.68 ±1.29)s,64-slice CT was (7.61 ± 1.40),there was significant difference between the two (t=11.33,P<0.001).Conclusion 256-slice CT and 64-slice CT can be used as an effective means of clinical diagnosis of pulmonary embolism ,but compared with 64-slice CT,the 256-slice CT can significantly reduce the scan time ,reduce the amount of radioactive contrast agent ,which has certain advantages .
6.Association of characteristics of patients visiting fever clinic with different air quality index in Beijing

Objective To examine the association of characteristics of patients visiting fever clinic with different air quality index in Beijing.Methods Six days with highest ambient air quality index (AQI) (polluted weather group) and 6 days with lowest AQI (clear weather group) during February 1 st to March 31th 2014 were selected as study period.The clinical data of patients,who visited in fever clinic of Peking University Third Hospital during the selected 12 days,were retrospectively analyzed.Results There were 417 patients in clean weather group and 481 in polluted weather group.There were no significant differences in duration of fever [(2.30 ± 2.51) d vs.(2.18 ± 2.58) d,x2 =0.701,P =0.484] and highest body temperature [(38.60 ± 0.65) ℃ vs.(38.57 ± 0.66) ℃,x2 =0.545,P =0.586] between two groups.The symptoms of cough,sore throat in pollution group were higher than those in clear group (52.39% vs.45.56%,x2 =4.166,P =0.041;50.52% vs.42.21%,x2 =6.203,P =0.013,respectively).The proportion of cases diagnosed as influenza-like illness in polluted weather was higher than that in clear weather group (53.85% vs.46.76%,x2 =4.484,P =0.034).Conclusion The results indicate that the symptoms cough and sore throat and influenza-like illness are increased in polluted weather in Beiiing.
7.Scientific and standard promotion of organ donation and transplantation in China

Under active exploration and practice of several generations of organ transpant workers,organ transplantation in China has developed rapidly since 2000 and achieved remarkble results.Techniques of transplantation become mature,and liver transplantation and renal transplantation have reached international advanced level,which benefit massive patients.With high attention and promotion of national government and health administrative departments,structural changes have occurred to source of national organ transplantation to form a China Model.The donation after citizen's death has become the new normal in the organ transplantation in China.Human organ donation work promots the rapid development of transplantation in China,but it also faces challenges of the donor organ shortage and quality improvement.Under the new situation,health,family planning and medical reform work of the national13th Five Year Plan puts forward new requirements on human organ donation and transplantation.Combined with practical work,this article gives a few opinions on how to scientifically further improve the quality and quantity of organ donation and transplantation and directions of future works.
8.Laboratory examination of invasive fungal disease in children and its evaluation

Pediatric invasive fungal disease( IFD)often lacks characteristic clinical manifestations and imaging changes. It is a severe disease in ICU and is unlikely to be diagnosed early. The diagnosis of IFD is typically based on laboratory tests targeting at the population at risk. The laboratory tests for IFD generally include direct tests( smear microscopy,fungal culture,histopathologic examination,etc. ),serologic tests( tests for 1,3-β-D dextran and galactomannan,etc. ),and certain progresses have been made in molecular biologi-cal tests in recent years. It is key to diagnosis of IFD to use laboratory tests rationally and accurately interpret the laboratory results.
9.Application of Surface Electromyography in Abnormal Gait Analysis for Stroke (review)

The abnormal gait after stroke was mainly related to the decreasing strength with increasing tension of paretic lower limb muscles. Surface electromyography (sEMG) can respond to the neuromuscular function, that is valuable for abnormal gait analysis for stroke patients. This paper mainly introduced the anatomical basis with sEMG features of walking, the performance of abnormal gait and ab-normal gait analysis based on sEMG. It focused on the advances of sEMG in the analysis of temporal patterns and activating characteristics of muscles associated with abnormal gait, as well as abnormal gait pattern.
10.Fish oil ameliorates the intra-abdominal sepsis and hypertension-induced ileus

Objective:To investigate whether the fish oil improves intestinal motility function during intra-abdominal sepsis and hypertension.Methods: 25 rats were divided into three groups.The rats were supplemented by gavage with: ①normal saline as control group(n=9);②fish oil(0.3%,n=8)and ③fish oil(0.6%,n=8)for 4 weeks before operation.The rats were killed on the 24th hour after operation.In vitro ileual smooth muscle contractions were recorded.Ileum sections were assessed pathologically.Immunopositivity of c-kit as markers of ICC-MY by confocal microscopy were evaluated.Results: In the bowel segment with NS,muscles showed a significant reduction in the frequency of contraction compared to that with FO.This change was associated with the changes of ICC-MY network.Conclusion:The intestinal motility may be protected by an enteral fish oil nutrition through attenuating injury of ICC-MY network.
