Objective To study the effect of Semen Euphorbiae and Semen Euphorbiae Pulveratun on the microflora in rats gastrointestinal from the aspect of the intestinal microecology, so as to provide reference for further revealing mechanism of the attenuation after processing of Semen Euphorbiae. Methods Rats were fed with high, medium and low dose of Semen Euphorbiae and Semen Euphorbiae Pulveratun, and the plate-counter method was used to examine the four types of intestinal flora in the feces of rats which are Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, Escherichia coli, and Enterococcus. Results After intragastric administration, the rat had the alteration of intestinal flora, and the degree of alteration of intestinal flora in the Semen Euphorbiae Pulveratun group was lower than the group of Semen Euphorbiae. In the low doses of group, the number of Enterococci and Escherichia coli was decreased. Conclusion Semen Euphorbiae and Semen Euphorbiae Pulveratun could affect the intestinal microbial diversity and the balance of intestinal flora. The effect of Semen Euphorbiae Pulveratun on four kinds of intestinal flora was weakened, and the degree of intestinal flora disturbance was reduced, which was consistent with the results of alleviation of the effect of Semen Euphorbiae Pulveratun. It was suggested that the intervention effect of Semen Euphorbiae on intestinal microflora could be clarified from the perspective of intestinal microecology, which could reveal possible correlation between Semen Euphorbiae Pulveratun and the changes of intestinal flora.

Objective:To investigate the range of normal value of total nasal cavity volume(NV)and total na-sopharyngeal cavity volume (NPV)of healthy adults. Method: Six hundred and fifty-nine healthy adults andeighty-two adults of chronic rhinitis were measured with acoustic rhinometry. Result:The range of NV was29. 922～37. 481 cm3 and NPV was 29. 369～44. 159 cm3. Comparing healthy adults with adults of chronic rhini-tis,there was a significant difference in NV. Conclusion:Acoustic rhinometry suited for objective assessment ofthe nasal airways in adults. It was demonstrated that these data could provide available information for the studyof nasal physiology and pathophysiology,as well as for the diagnosis and judgement of therapeutic effectiveness ofnasal diseases.

Objective To evaluate the status of self-efficacy and its influencing factors in adult patients with low vision,then explore an effective approach to improve their self-efficacy levels.Methods Seventy adult patients with low vision were sampled by random number table method.General social-demographic questionnaire and self-efficacy questionnaire were used to investigate these patients' general information and self-efficacy.Seventy pieces of questionnaires were issued and returned with the valid rate of 100％.Results The total score of self-efficacy in seventy adult patients with low vision was(16.25:±:1.93) points,92％ of patients had a low level of self-efficacy.The influencing factors of self-efficacy in adult patients with low vision were the attitude toward disease,mental status and gender.Conclusions The selfefficacy in patients with low vision was affected by many factors at different levels,so we should focus on main influencing factors to adopt corresponding nursing measures in order to improve self-efficacy of adult patients with low vision.

Objective To analyze Chinese oncology papers of 2012 included by Science Citation Index (SCI) and to facilitate domestic oncology researchers to better master the foreign periodical information and publish research results.Methods Chinese oncology papers included by SCI in 2011 and 2012 were retrieved,by using SCI-Expanded database.The periodical distribution,subject distribution,organization distribution,fund and citations were analyzed.Results In 2011,6570 papers were included by SCI,while 9226 were included in 2012,with the increase rate of 40.426％.The major language was English,and the most frequent literature type was article.The amount of source journals increased from 668 in 2011 to 749 in 2012.PLoS One published the most amount of literature both in 2011 and in 2012.The periodical with the highest impact factor (IF) in 2011 was Nature Genetics (IF =35.209),while in 2012 was Nature (IF =38.597).The university with the most amount of published literature was Sun Yat-sen University (653,7.078％),and the corresponding medical institution was PLA General Hospital (113,0.932％) and the corresponding research institute was Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (316,3.425％).The most funded project was National Natural Science Foundation with the rate of 46.339％ (1949/4206) in 2011 and 40.000％ (3290/8225) in 2012.The total citation frequency was 36 569 in 2011 and 18 945 in 2012.Conclusion Over the past two years,Chinese oncology papers included by SCI make great progress,in terms of quantity and quality.English is the main written language,and there are more source journals but less journals with high IF.

Purpose To compare the therapeutic effects of CO2 laser resection and traditional split laryngeal surgery on the early laryn-geal cancer, and to examine relationship between the expression of p27 and PTEN and clinical prognosis in early laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma. Methods 85 patients who underwent CO2 laser resection surgery and 46 patients who underwent split laryngeal surger-y were selected and the occurrence rates after surgery were observed. SP immunohistochemical method was uesd to detect the expression of p27 and PTEN in tumor resection marginal and their surgical margine tissues. Clinical data were collected and all patients were fol-lowed up. Results In the more than two-year follow-up study, 14 of 85 patients in CO2 laser treatment group ( recurrent group) pres-ented with local recurrence and the recurrence rate was 16. 5%, while 6 of 46 patients in split laryngeal surgery group presented with local recurrence and the recurrent rate was 13. 0%. There was no statistical significance in recurrence rate between the two groups ( P> 0. 05). 10 of all the none recurrent patients did not follow the doctor’s advice to quit smoking after the operation, while 12 in the recurrent patients did not, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0. 01). The positive rate of p27 and PTEN in laryngeal carcinoma tissues and the cancer adjacent tissues ( negative surgical margin tissues ) was 43. 5% ( 57/131 ) , 80. 2% (105/131) and 48. 9% (64/131), 83. 2% (109/131), respectively, with a significant difference (P<0. 01). The positive rate of p27 and PTEN in laryngeal carcinoma tissues of the recurrent group and non recurrent group was 20. 0% (4/20), 47. 7% (53/111) and 10. 0% (2/20), 55. 9% (62/111), respectively, with a significant difference (P<0. 05). While the positive rate of p27 and PTEN in tumor resection marginal tissues of the recurrence group and non recurrence group was 50. 0% ( 10/20 ) , 85. 6% ( 95/111) and 40. 0% (8/20), 91. 0% (101/111), the difference was also statistically significant (P<0. 01). Conclusions There was no statistically significant difference in tumor recurrence rate between CO2 laser surgery and traditional split laryngeal surgery. Postoper-ative recurrence is closely related to resume smoking. The recurrence rate of p27 and/or PTEN negative patients was higher than that of the opposite ones which should be followed up closely after treatment.

Objective To study the expression of sex hormone-binding globulin(SHBG),insulin signaling pathway and glucose transporter in placenta of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM),and to explore its role in the pathogenesis of GDM. Methods A total of 10 full-term and non-obese(BMI<25 kg/m2)pregnancy women diagnosed with GDM and 10 normal pregnant cases were recruited for the study. Placental tissues were collected respectively. The expression of protein and mRNA of SHBG and insulin signal transduction(IRS-1,ISR-2,PI3K p85α)and glucose transporter proteins(GLUT-1,GLUT-3,GLUT-4)in placental tissue were detected by real-time PCR and Western blotting. Pearson and linear regression analysis were used to evaluate the correlation among the related indicators. Results In the placental tissue of non-obese women,there existed a decrease(P<0.05)in the expression of protein and mRNA of SHBG with a concurrent a decrease(P<0.05)in the expression of protein and mRNA of GLUT-4 in GDM women compared with normal controls. Furthermore ,a decrease(P<0.05)of GLUT-3 and IRS-1 protein expression with lower(P<0.05)IRS-2 mRNA expression was also observed in placental tissue from GDM patients. No changes were found in PI3K p85α and GLUT-1 at both protein and mRNA levels(P>0.05). Results of linear correlation analysis showed that there were positive correlations between SHBG mRNA and IRS-2 mRNA(P<0.05),SHBG mRNA and PI3K p85α mRNA(P<0.05),and SHBG mRNA and GLUT-4 mRNA(P<0.05). There was also a remarkable positive correlation between IRS-2 mRNA and GLUT-4 mRNA(P<0.01). There existed negative correlations between IRS-1 mRNA and PI3K p85α mRNA(P<0.05),and IRS-1 mRNA and GLUT-3 mRNA(P<0.05). There existed a remarkable positive correlation between IRS-2 mRNA and GLUT-1 mRNA(P<0.01). Conclusion The defective receptors of insulin signaling pathway are present in GDM placental tissue. Decreased expression of SHBG may be involved in the regulation insulin signaling ,leading to a concomitant decrease expression of relevant insulin signaling components in placental tissue ,implying insulin resistance and developing GDM finally.

Diabetes is a chronic noncommunicable disease,which is can't be cured,and only can be suppressed by long-term treatment and self-management.The clinical decision support system can simulate the thinking process of diabetes specialists in disease diagnosis,and can provide the regular medical treatment plans and recommend the optimal plans to doctors.Most of the existing clinical decision support systems are based on clinical guidelines,rule-based and case-based reasoning as well as ontology-based systems.The big data technology can acquire and process multiple heterogeneous data,and provide a more scientific personalized treatment plan.In recent years,a variety of big date processing methods have been applied to the clinical diagnosis of diabetes based on decision tree,neural network,fuzzy logic,support vector machine,APRIORI association rules and multidimensional analysis,and timing mining.However,these methods are still in preliminary stage.The framework of diabetes clinical decision support system based on big data technology was analyzed,and the future diagnostic and treatment methods were forecast.

Objective To study the expression of Rho kinase and its functional activation in lung tissue from hypoxic pulmonary hypertension(HPH) rat model,and the effects of fasudil on HPH.Methods Seventy-two male Spraque-Dawley rats were randomly divided into the control group,hypoxic model group,and fasudil-intervention group[group with hypoxia and fasudil for 15 mg/(kg?d)],respectively.Mean pulmonary arterial pressure(mPAP) and right ventricle hypertrophy index(RVHI) were measured.Expression of Rho kinase mRNA and protein were examined by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) and Western blot,respectively.The phosphorylation of binding subunit of myosin phosphatase(MBS)-a substrate of Rho kinase was detected by Western blot and defined,as the mark of functional activation of the kinase.Results The expression of Rho kinase mRNA in hypoxic model group was markedly upregulated even before the onset of the third day after the experiment(HPH),and it was much lower in rats of fasudil group than that of hypoxic model group.The phosphorylation of MBS was significantly higher in hypoxic model group than that in control group,and it was positively correlated with the mPAP and RVHI(all P
