Electroencephalogram (EEG) is the primary tool in investigation of the brain science. It is necessary to carry out a deepgoing study into the characteristics and information hidden in EEGs to meet the needs of the clinical research. In this paper, we present a wavelet-nonlinear dynamic methodology for analysis of nonlinear characteristic of EEGs and delta, theta, alpha, and beta sub-bands. We therefore studied the effectiveness of correlation dimension (CD), largest Lyapunov exponen, and approximate entropy (ApEn) in differentiation between the interictal EEG and ictal EEG based on statistical significance of the differences. The results showed that the nonlinear dynamic char acteristic of EEG and EEG subbands could be used as effective identification statistics in detecting seizures.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1997;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of detecting mammaglobin in sentinel lymph nodes(SLN) of breast cancer. Methods In 32 breast cancer patients, methylene blue was injected around parechyma of breast cancer to locate the SLNs, and nested RT PCR(reverse transcriptase polgmecane chain reaction) was used to examine the expression of mammaglobin mRNA. Results The SLN was successfully identified in 30 of the 32 cases(93.8%).The micrometastases detection between group SLNs and non SLNs had significant statistical difference(P

The research on regulation rules of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome was the core of TCM syndrome information. It was thought that the constitution identification which provided the technology for evaluating health status was one of the bases in drawing the curve of conditional standard of syndrome. It was fitted and analyzed by the curve of conditional evolution of syndrome through establishing the curve of conditional standard of TCM constitution theory. It was the key technology of realizing the dynamical evaluation of TCM clinical effect.

Objective To investigate the possible mechanisms of fasudil on acute myocardial infarction (AMI)by observing the changes of hemorheology and inflammatory factors. Methods 120 patients diagnosed AMI in our hospital were randomly divided into the two groups:60 cases in the control group were given the conventional treat-ment and the other 60 cases in the treatment group were added fasudil for 2 weeks based on that. Then we analyzed the changes of hemorheology and inflammatory factors. Results 2 weeks later, the whole blood restore viscosity, plasma viscosity,CRP,IL -1β,IL -6 and TNF -βin the two groups were all obviously decreased than those of before(P <0.05),while,packed cell volume in the treatment group was obviously decreased as well (P <0.05).Furthermore, the changes in the treatment group were more significant compared with the controlled group (P <0.05).Conclusion Fasudil intervention on AMI can improve the situation of hemorheology and relieve the inflammation more effectively than conventional treatment.

Microbiology 2008;0(10):-
The yeast Sacchromyces cerevisiae is most widely used for producing bioethanol in alcoholic industry due to its higher ethanol yield and fermentation rate. However, the toxic effect of accumulated ethanol is one of the main factors, which limit high ethanol production. Thus, investigating the mechanisms of yeast ethanol tolerance will provide the basis for solving the industrial problem. This article reviewed the mechanisms of Sacchromyces cerevisiae ethanol tolerance focusing on its cell physiological behaviors, structure and biochemical composition, as well as its genetic basis.

Through morphological observation, HE staining, TRAP staining and toluidine blue staining of bone resorption pits to identify osteoclasts which obtained by 1α, 25-(OH)2 VitD3 inducing rabbit bone marrow cells. Three indicators-TRAP staining, TRAP enzyme activity detecting and the number and area of bone resorption pits were adapted to detect the effect of Sargentodoxae caulis on the activity of osteoclasts. Culturing MC3T3-E1 Subclong 14 cells and detecting the effect of S. caulis on differentiation and proliferation of them by MTT and detecting the alkaline phosphatase in cells. The results show that all of the low, middle and high doses of water and alcohol extracts of S. caulis have significant inhibition on osteoclast differentiation and bone resorption ability in a dose-dependent manner. The low and middle doses of water and alcohol extracts of S. caulis can stimulate differentiation and proliferation of MC3T3-ElSubclone 14 cells, which indicates S. caulis can prevent osteoporosis and the function could be achieved by inhibiting osteoclast activity and promoting the proliferation and differentiation of osteoblasts.
