Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, the major usage of which is purgation, is widely used in clinical therapy among different prescriptions. According to present reports, researches on herbal compatibility mechanism were mainly fo-cused on the comparison of content changes of active ingredients before and after. In oder to provide references, this review was made on researches of compatibility mechanism of prescriptions and paired drugs for ingredients of Radix et Rhizoma Rhei from research actuality.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a kind of chronic, progressive, multiple, invasive autoimmune disease with two chief cclinical manifestations arthrosynovitis and ex-arthrosis, easy to occur in middle-aged women, also occur in children and the elderly, is characterized by progressive and break out repeatedly. RA pathogenesis is complex, there is no special treatment, used in treatment of R drug varied, new drugs and new therapies also emerge in endlessly, main including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), slow action anti-rheumatism medicine (SAARDs), glucocorticoids (GCs), biological agent, traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine preparations, domestic market for rheumatoid main drug treatment are NSAIDs, SAARDs, GCs, traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine preparations. Traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medi- cine preparations for the treatment of RA have its unique advantages, show the characteristics of overall adjustment, multi-level and multiple targets, and also can alleviate and against side effects of western medicine. In recent years, more and more get people's atten- tion. This paper reviewed the research progress and treatment features of commonly used therapeutic agents for the treatment of RA in recent years, which provides reference and basis for future medicine anti-RA.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2008;0(S1):-
Objective To evaluate the training quality of anaesthesiology residents in different hospitals. Methods The scores of 125 residents, attending Shanghai resident clinic skill examination from 2005 to 2007,were analyzed. ResultsThe scores of examinees from municipal hospitals were higher than those from district hospitals, municipal specialized hospitals and traditional Chinese medicine hospitals. The scores of practice part were higher than those of theory part in all groups. Conclusion The training quality is related to the comprehensive strength of the hospital in which examinees work, but the training of theory knowledge still need to be strengthened.

Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
Proteolytic degradation has been a severe problem when Pichia pastoris is employed to express recombinant proteins. One alternative method to circumvent this problem is to construct protease gene disruptant. However, the main study of gene disruption is focused on nonrecombinant Pichia pastoris rather than recombinant strain. In our study,we established two different methods to directly disrupt PRC1 and KEX1 gene in recombinant Pichia pastoris. On the basis of this,we further discussed and compared the application and advantages of both methods.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and safety of endoscopic intraluminal closure of small colon perforation with metal clips in porcine model. Methods A 2 cm full-thickness colon perforation was made in 4 bama mini-pigs.One did not receive local closure as a control, while 3 others underwent closure with bi-and tri-arm clips, one of which received additional fibrin glue injection after closure.Necropsy was done on day 14 after the procedure, and dye leak test, peritoneal fluid bacteria culture and histological examination were performed.During the 2 week observation period, the body temperature and blood leukocytes count were recorded and compared. Results Endoscopic closure of the colon perforation was technically successful in all 3 pigs. The body temperature and blood leukocyte count of these pigs were both lower than those of the control.Necropsy showed that the perforation in control pig was not completely closed and with multiple adhesions around.Perforation complete closure and pathological healing without adhesion were observed in 2 pigs with clip closure only, while adhesion and incomplete pathological healing was detected in the other one with clip closure plus fibrinogen injection (P<0.05).Conclusion Endoscopic intraluminal closure of a 2 cm colon perforation with metal clips is feasible and safe, while further study is needed to evaluate the effect of combined local fibrinogen injection.

BACKGROUND:IPS e. max Press porcelain crown has been widely used in clinical restoration because of its aesthetic effect and biological properties. OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of IPS e. max Press porcelain crown in esthetic restoration of anterior teeth in terms of marginal adaptation and color match. METHODS:Total y 52 patients with 138 defective anterior teeth (20 males and 32 females, 18-45 years old, including 62 anterior tooth defects, 46 tooth traumas, 30 denticles) were divided into two groups randomly:treatment group (26 cases) and control group (26 cases) were given IPS e.max Press porcelain crown and conditional Co-Cr al oy handcuffed ceramic crowns, respectively. Al the cases were asked for a second visit in 1 week after restoration, and the integrity of ceramic veneer, marginal adaptation, gingival health and color match were evaluated during 6-month and 2-year fol ow-ups. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The degrees of satisfaction on the color, shape and adaptation in the treatment group were al higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). At 6 months after restoration, the marginal adaptation, gingival health and color match in the treatment group were al better than those in the control group (P<0.05). At 2 years after restoration, there was also a significant difference in the marginal adaptation, gingival health and color match between the two groups (P<0.05). IPS e.max Press porcelain crown has the advantages of aesthetics and biological characteristics, so it can be used as an ideal restoration method for esthetic restoration of anterior teeth.
