The existing processing methods, commercial specification and grades, and the marketing of Coptidis Rhizoma were systematical researched, referring to ancient, modern and contemporary medical literatures with the combination of our fieldwork on main origins of Coptidis Rhizoma and some herbs markets. Results showed that Coptidis Rhizoma processing methods mainly included sun-dried method and baked method anciently. For now, the processing methods become various, including thin paper-covering under the sun drying, direct drying, oven drying and microflame-fry drying. In the literatures, the main chemical constituent berberine was determined of its content to analyze the processing methods, finding that the sun drying and baked drying affect the berberine content, so the temperature must be controlled when drying. The thin paper-covering drying method is so cumbersome for large quantities of medicinal herbs and in wind conditions that it has been eliminated. Eventually, direct drying, oven drying and microflame-fry drying are chosen to the large-scale socialized production for their convenient and simple operation, making up the current main processing methods. Coptidis Rhizoma products have 3 specifications of Weilian, Yalian, Yunlian, of each specification there are 2 levels, but in fact the market of Weilian commodities overtakes the Yunlian, which only sold in parts of Yunnan, and the no-sale Yalian. The mainstream commercial Weilian are often sold in general way, gradeless and uniformly-priced. There are regional differences of the processing methods on Coptidis Rhizoma, which needs unified research and development of relevant standard operating procedures to ensure the quality of medicine, urgently. Coptidis Rhizoma product specifications and the intrinsic quality-grade correlation need to be further improved, which could provide a more reliable standard for quality at competitive prices, and it is recommended that "medicinal commercial specification and grade standard" content be increased into the Herbs part of Chinese Pharmacopoeia.

Objective To survey the satisfaction degree of the postgraduates in professional degree with The Joining Together of Double-Track education model in the current stage of professional degree graduate education and standardized training of residents in China. Methods According to various factors, such as the current situation of postgraduates in medical universities, we sought the opinions of relevant experts to design questionnaire. Meanwhile, to enhance the reliability of the questionnaire and the survey, we chose the postgraduates of Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University first to do the pre-survey, and according to the feedback, we adjusted part of the aspects, thus formed a formal questionnaire, which included the satisfaction with training of clinical practice ability, training of research ability, and tutors' assessment etc. Finally, the Chinese New Youth Forum online released the questionnaires, selecting the postgraduates in professional degree who were participating in, or had participated in the completion of the standardized training as the participants, which took place between March 2016 and May 2016. SPSS 16.0 was used for statistical analysis. The evaluation results of different majors were tested by Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test. Results According to the results of the survey, the aspects in the clinical resident standard-ized training that the 1000 postgraduates were more satisfied with were as follows: training time [42.8%(n=428)], training center [41.8% (n=418)], training of clinical practice ability [41.6% (n=416)], tutors [40.2%(n=402)], economic income [38.8%(n=388)], department arrangements [38.4% (n=384)], training of research ability [37.5%(n=375)]. There is a significant difference in the satisfaction degree of different pro-fessional graduate students in theJoining Together of Double-Trackeducation model (P<0.05). ConclusionThe Joining Together of Double-Track education model should be compatible with the training objectives of postgraduates in professional degree. Much more attention should be paid to the post-graduates, satisfac-tion degree with the clinical resident standardized training, as well as the requirements during the training period, improve the evaluation of graduate students' ability of scientific research, econo-mic income and so on, so as to improve the training system for the postgraduates.

Objective To study the Clinical characteristics of Parkinson′s disease(PD) in natural population. Methods All the patients diagnosed as Parkinsonism from a prevalence study in Beijing in 1997 were collected for investigation. The spectrum of the clinical features of Parkinsonism and the onset, progression and prognosis of PD were analysed, as well as the impact factors to the prognosis were analysed. Results 109 cases were ascertained as PD from the sample population, in which 64(58.7% ) were PD, 11 (10. 1% ) were Parkinsen plus syndrome and 34(31.2% ) were symptom Parkinsonism. 30 of the 64 PD cases were male. The median age of PD was 74. 5 years. The median age at onset was 68 years old. The median duration was 5 years. The average Hoehn-Yahr staging score was 2. 81. The clinical characteristics of PD and other Parkinsonism were compared, as asymmetry of symptoms and signs was an important feature to differentiate PD from other Parkinsonism. 20. 3 percent of PD cases were associated with dementia.16(25% )of the 64 PD cases initiated with essential tremor and developed to PD during 6 ~ 49 years after the onset of tremor. Tremor was the dominant initial symptoms of PD(60. 9% ). Type of initial symptoms was a relatively definite impact factor to the prognosis of PD. Levodopa treatment was likely to delay the duration of PD. Conclusions The clinical features of Parkinsonism in natural population were different as compared with previous studies. A further study on the natural history of PD thoroughly is needed.
