In this study, chemiluminescence technique was employed to compare the effect of tonifilyneedling and ginger-seperated moxibustion on Zusanli in regulating the phagocytosis of the neutrophil in the aged rats. As a result, both methods were proved to be able to elevate the phagocytosis and anti-bacteria effect of the neutrophil, and the later method was found more remarkable. So it concluded that acupuncture and moxibustion are both the effective ways in anti-aging and health-protection.

Objective To study the influence of pre-injection of donor apoptotic cells in the survival of islet grafts and the function of T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood. Methods The donor apoptotic cells and necrotic cells were ob-tained respectively by X-irradiation from electron linear accelerator and a heat-shock procedure (water bath box 56℃, 1 h). The diabetic rats for islet transplantation (n=42) were induced by a single intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ), then were randomly divided into four groups:rats were injected by physiological saline group (n=9), normal cells group (n=12), apoptotic donor cell group (n=12) and necrotic donor cell group (n=9). On the seventh day, each group received islet transplantation under the renal capsule. The blood glucose level was detected to reflect the survival of the islets. The periph-eral blood samples of three rats in each group were obtained at different observation times. The proliferative activity of T lym-phocytes was determined by MTT method. The levels of cytokines interferon (IFN)-γ, interleukin (IL)-10 in peripheral blood were measured by Luminex 100 Integrated System, and transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1 by ELISA respectively at 0 d, 1 week, 2 weeks and after rejection. Results The survival time of islets was significantly prolonged by the pre-intervention of apoptotic cells, and the proliferative activity of T lymphocytes stimulated by ConA was inhibited. Meanwhile, the extent of the increased level of IFN-γwas inhibited significantly at 1 week and 2 weeks after transplantation (P<0.05), the levels of IL-10 and TGF-β1 were significantly increased before transplantation, 1 week and 2 weeks after transplantation (P<0.05). Conclusion Our results demonstrated that the pre-treatment of donor apoptotic cells can regulate the recipient’s immune reactive state by inhibiting the proliferative activity of T lymphocytes and changing the levels of cytokines from different sub-sets of T lymphocytes, and finally resulted in the prolonging of the survival of islet grafts.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2002;26(5):316-338
The proposed registration algorithm based on wavelet transform is a multi-resolution block matching one, which exploits the hierarchical self-similarity of Digital Subtraction Angiography images. This method befittingly trades off between the estimation precision and computational complexity, because the registration precision is from coarse to fine, which reduces the searching complexity of motion vector. This technique has been proved that the convergence speed is exponential. The proposed method takes full advantage of the precise location both temporally and frequently which characterizes the wavelet transform. Both the matching speed and consistency are boosted without the loss of matching performance.

Objective To establish the methods of three-dimensional eonformal(3DCRT) and intensity-modulated radiotherapy(IMRT) for whole pelvic irradiation in post-hysterectomy cervical carcinoma, And to optimize the methods for clinical practice. Methods Between 2004 and 2005,10 patients with cervical carcinoma who underwent hysterectomy with high risk of recurrence were selected for this study. The following observations and measurements were used for the study: Set-up errors with supine or prone position were measured to determine appropriate immobilization position. Influence of full and empty bladder on irradiated normal tissue volume was measured. Treatment errors were detected and CTV/PTV were then delineated. 3DCRT and IMRT planning and comparison were applied. Results The set-up error was within 5 mm of three dimensions in prone position and more than 5 mm in supine position, the difference of which was statistically significant. The percentage of irradiated volume of the bladder and bowel was smaller when the bladder was full comparing with empty bladder. In prone position and with full bladder, portal films showed the movement of isocenter in three directions. The total uncertainty was [7.4±1.6]mm. For 95% confidence interval, the margin from CTV to PTV was 1 cm. CIPTV for 3,4,5,and 6 fields 3DCRT was 0.46,O. 67, O. 68, and O. 68, respectively. When beyond 4 fields, the advantage of adding fields was not significant.Four fields planning was feasible for clinical practice. CI for 5,7,9,11 ,and 13 fidds IMRT was 0.75,0.83, 0.84,0.85 ,and 0.85 ,respectively. When beyond 9 fields, the advantage of adding fields was not significant. Nine fields planning was feasible for clinical practice. Conclusions For whole pelvic radiotherapy for post-hysterectomy cervical carcinoma, prone position was better than supine position for immobilization due to smaller set-up errors. The full bladder is recommended during radiotherapy, planning,For clinical practice,4 fields planning is feasible in 3DCRT while 9 fields planning is feasible in IMRT.

OBJECTIVETo explore selection and efficacy assessment for membranous urethral trauma caused by pelvic fracture.
METHODSFrom June 2000 to August 2010, 72 patients with membranous urethral trauma caused by pelvic fracture were selected. There were 46 males and 26 females, ranging age from 26 to 62 years (averaged 35.2 years). The time from injury to hospitalization time was 1 to 3 hours. According to Tile pelvic fracture classification, there were 8 patients with type A, 45 patients with type B, 19 patients with type C. Thirty of the 35 patients with partial rupture of posterior urethral were treated by catheterization,5 patients treated by rupture anastomosis on the stage I combined with cystostomy; 25 of the 37 patients with complete rupture of posterior urethra were treated by early realignment, and 12 patients were treated by cystostomy. Urinary incontinence, impotence and urethrostenosis were evaluated.
RESULTSAll patients were followed up for 5 to 10 years (mean 7.7 years). Incidence of urethrostenosis, impotence and urinary incontinence in patients treated by cystostomy were significantly higher than rupture anastomosis on the stage I and early realignment (P < 0.05); while incidence in patients treated by catheterization was significantly lower than other groups (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONFor patients with partial rupture of posterior urethral, catheterization and rupture anastomosis on the stage I are preferred methods; while patients with complete rupture of posterior urethra, early realignment is a preferred method with advantages of simple operation and less complications.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2013;33(5):698-702
OBJECTIVETo develop a method for extracting cytoskeletons and cytoskeleton-associated proteins for proteomic analysis.
METHODSA subcellular sequential proteome extraction method was exploited. The extraction procedure was optimized and controlled according to observed cell morphology changes and one- and two-dimensional electrophoresis images. The extraction efficiency and selectivity were evaluated by Western blotting and mass spectrometry.
RESULTSFour extracted fractions clearly displayed distinct patterns. Western blotting detected the fraction-marker proteins FAK, integrin-β1, histone H1 and cytokeratin 19 only in their expected fractions. About 90% of the protein spots in the cytoskeleton fraction were identified by mass spectrometry as cytoskeleton and/or its associated proteins.
CONCLUSIONThe subcellular proteome sequential fractionation method facilitates the detection of proteins of low abundance and shows a high reproducibility and selectivity, and thus can serve as an ideal pre-fractionation method prior to two-dimensional electrophoresis.

Objective To evaluate the molluscicidal effect of suspension concentrate of niclosamide ethanolamine salt(SC-NE)against Oncomelania hupensis snails in laboratory and field. Methods The experiment of SCNE against the snails by using the immersing and spraying methods was performed in laboratory and field, with control groups of wettable powder of ni-closamide ethanolamine salt(WPN). Results In the laboratory,LC50(s) of SCNE for 24,48 h and 72 h by using the immersion method were 0.0926,0.0629 mg/L and 0.0549 mg/L,respectively. The mortality rates of snails for 24,48 h and 72 h by using the immersion method were all 100% with the concentrations of 0.25 mg/L. The mortality rates of snails were all 100% while spraying SCNE for 3 d in the laboratory with the concentrations of 0.25 g/m2. In Jiangling County, except 0.5 g/m3 SCNE immers-ing the snails for 24 h,the mortality rates of snails by using SCNE with the immersing method were all 100%. While the concen-tration of SCNE was 0.5 g/m3 or above, the mortality rates were all 100%after the use of it with the immersion method for 2 d in Gong'an County. In Jiangling County, the mortality rates of snails by using SCNE 0.5 g/m3 for 1 d,3 d,and 7 d with the spray-ing method were 87.5%,92.82%and 97.40%respectively. While the concentration of SCNE was 0.5 g/m3,the mortality rates were 85.94%,86.78%and 94.21%respectively after the use of it with the spraying method for 1 d,3 d,7 d in Gong'an Coun-ty,and the molluscicidal effect of SCNE(1.0 g/m2)was higher than that of WPN. Conclusion SCNE has a high molluscicidal effect in the laboratory and field, and it is a novel and simple formulation of niclosamide.
