Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2014;(16):2491-2493
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of edoravone combined with escin monosodium on the treatment of acute cerebral hemorrhage .Methods 60 patients suffered from acute cerebral hemorrhage were randomly divided into control group and observation group .Each group had 30 patients. The control group was conventionally treated by the internal medicine .On the basis of the research on the control group ,the observation group were treated by edoravone combined with escin monosodium intravenous drip .After the treatment of 14 days,28 days, the recovery of neural function, focus volume, clinical effect were evaluated. Results Comared with the control group, after the treatment of 14 days,28 days,NIHSS score was obviously lower than that of the control group ,the difference was sig-nificant (t=2.136,t=4.117,P<0.05,P<0.01).After the treatment of 14 days, hematoma and edema of the differences were not statistically significant (t=1.395,t=0.737,all P>0.05).After the treatment of 28 days,hema-toma and edema of the differences were statistically significant (t=3.140,t=2.367,P<0.01,P<0.05).The com-parison of the clinic effect of the two groups ,the total effect was statistically significant (χ2 =6.650,P <0.01). Conclusion Edaravone combined with escin monosodium on the treatment of cerebral hemorrhage can significantly improve neurologic impairment and cerebral hematoma .Clinical effect is definite and safe .
2.Diagnosis and Exclusion of Secondary Causes of Osteoporosis
The Singapore Family Physician 2019;45(7):32-34
Osteoporosis is a major health concern and treatment of primary osteoporosis with anti-osteoporosis medications is needed to reduce fracture risk and burden. Before initiating anti-osteoporosis medications, secondary causes of osteoporosis should be considered and
satisfactorily excluded. However, it can be challenging to differentiate primary osteoporosis from secondary osteoporosis, especially in patients with paucity of symptoms or who have less common clinical presentation. Hence, practical tips like Appropriate Care Guide on
Osteoporosis forms the basis of initial secondary osteoporosis workup for primary care physicians. Snapshots of secondary osteoporosis are briefly discussed to facilitate “pattern recognition”.

Objective To systematically evaluate the safety of laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy (LDP) compared with open distal pancreatectomy (ODP).Methods Databases including Cochrane library,MEDLINE,EMbase,Google Scholar and Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure were searched to enroll randomized clinical trials (RCT),controlled clinical trials (CCT) or retrospective case-control studies to compare LDP with ODP.All articles received quality assessment according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, then the selected indices were analyzed using the Review Manager Version 5.0 software (The Cochrane Collaboration,Oxford,United Kingdom). Results 21 manuscripts with a total of 2 797 patients were enrolled.1 150 patients underwent LDP and the remaining 1 647 patients underwent ODP.In 20 studies (n =2 597),the total postoperative complication rates were 33.90% for the LDP group versus 46.80% for the ODP group [RR =0.76,95% CI(0.69 ~ 0.84),P < 0.01].In 8 studies (n =1 869) there was no significant difference [RR =0.51,95% CI(0.21 ~ 1.24),P >0.05] in the perioperative mortality between LDP (4/703) and ODP (18/1 166).In 20 studies (n =2 757) there was no significant difference [RR =0.89,95% CI(0.75 ~ 1.06),P > 0.05] in the pancreatic fistula rate between LDP (168/1 132) and ODP (281/1 625).In 11 studies (n =1 840) the wound infection rate of LDP (3.24%) was significantly lower than ODP (10.85%) [RR =0.34,95% CI(0.23 ~ 0.52),P < 0.01].No significance was found between the two groups in the rates of pulmonary complications, peritoneal infection, urinary tract infection, postoperative bleeding, pseudocyst formation, intestinal obstruction and ascites formation between LDP and ODP.Conclusions When compared with the traditional open procedure,LDP has the advantages of significantlylower rates of postoperative complication and wound infection. There were no significant differences in postoperative mortality, and pancreatic fistula rate between LDP and ODP.This meta-analysis suggests that LDP is a safe and feasible operative method.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2002;0(12):-
Objective:To explore the central mechanism of working memory impairments experienced by patients with schizophrenia. Methods:Using block-design,ten normal and twenty patients with schizophrenia perform digital recognition(remember two or five digitals simultaneous and make judgment about whether the digital presented latter is that appeared before)and direction judgment of arrows(toward to left or right)while proceeding blood-oxygen level dependent contrast functional magnetic resonance imaging(BOLD-fMRI).Results:On the condition of same cognitive load, abnormal activation of basal ganglia occurred in schizophrenics.Comparing to normal control, patients with schizophrenia exhibited a tendency of more activation in dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. Conclusion:Abnormal activity of basal ganglia and dorsolateral prefrontal cortex may be the critical cause of working memory deficit experienced by patients with schizophrenia.

[Objective]To assess the protective effects of Xianlinggubao on articular cartilage and subchondral bone in experimental osteoarthritis induced by anterior cruciate ligament transaction (ACLT)in rabbits. [Methods]Thirty healthy Japanese white rabbits were divided randomly into three groups:sham group,ACLT+XLGB group and ACLT+ NS group. Rabbits in ACLT+XLGB group and ACLT+NS group received anterior cruciate ligament transection(ACLT)on the right knee. Rabbits in sham group received untreatment as control. ACLT+XLGB group received a daily administration of XLGB at a dose of 125 mg/kg of body weight for 6 weeks. In contrast,ACLT+NS group received saline at the same dose. All rabbits were sacrificed at 6 weeks after operation. The right femora were removed, measured for bone mineral density (BMD),and then were observed for the macro-pathologic changes with HE staining and graded by Mankin's scale. Expression levels of BMP-2 and MMP-13 were detected by immunostaining. The subchondral bone of right tibial plateau was cut and stained for the measurement of bone histomorphometry.[Results](1)The Mankin's score in ACLT+ XLGB group was significantly lower than that in ACLT+ NS group (P
