Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1993;0(06):-
This paper designs a new distributing structure of nozzles in medical micro-jet device on the bases of emulating results. This new structure can improve the output coefficient and flux of drug delivery. Then, a micro-jet device is fabricated by MEMS technology based on this structure. The experiment results indicate that the number of output droplet is approximated to normal distribution on droplet diameter and velocity. Moreover, the droplet velocity and the flux are both improved in this new micro-jet device, whose values are 2.93m/s and 11.77?l/s respectively.

Micromachining of capillary electrophoresis chips is described. The current in channels was determined versus the voltage applied on the chip.Using laser-induced fluorescence detection, the process of injection and separation on chips was recorded with charge-coupled device(CCD).With defferent voltge of reservoirs on glass chips, profiles of the sample plug were studied. The elctropherogram of hydrolysis product of fluorescein isothiocyanate (FTTC-OH) and arginine labeled by fluorescein isothiocyante(FTTC-Arg) was obtained.

Objective:To observe the effects of Etifoxine on proliferation and migration of RSC96 (Schwann cells of rat) and its potential molecular mechanisms. Methods:From March, 2020 to October, 2020, cultured RSC96 were treated with 20 μmol/L Etifoxine and saline respectively for 48 h. Cell proliferation was tested by EdU assay using Cell-Light EdU DNA Cell Proliferation Kit and the capability of migration was determined by wound healing assay and a transwell system. To investigate the effects of Etifoxine on CELSR2 protein expression, after treated with different concentrations of Etifoxine at 0-20 μmol/L for 48 hours, cells were subject to Western blot analysis to verify the expression of CELSR2 protein. To explore whether CELSR2 would be a potential target of Etifoxine, siRNA targeting CELSR2 and control siRNA groups were transfected into 20 μmol/L Etifoxine-treated RSC96 using Lipo3000. Again, the cell proliferation and migration of were investigated after 48 hours with the same procedures. The two-tailed Mann-Whitney U test was employed in statistical assessment. Results:EdU results showed a significant higher percentage of Edu-positive (proliferating) cells in the 20 μmol/L Etifoxine-treated group than the control group[(36.30±3.09)% vs (19.40±2.50)%, P<0.05]. Transwell migration assay demonstrated that the number of 20 μmol/L Etifoxine-treated RSC96 which migrated through the transwell membrane was higher than saline group, with significant statistical difference [(132.30±6.77) vs(65.33±7.37), P<0.05]. The percentage of reduction of wound area measured at 24 hours and 36 hours after the scratch also showed the similar results [(30.67±2.16)% vs (23.00±2.61)%; (86.00±2.19)% vs (49.67±2.81)%, respectively, P<0.05]. Besides, with increase of the concentration of etifoxine, the expression of CELSR2 showed an trend of increase in RSC96 ( P<0.05), but no significant statistical difference was found between 10 μmol/L and 20 μmol/L groups ( P>0.05). Interestingly, the rate of cell proliferation, the number of migrating cells and the percentage of wound area reduction of RSC96 in which were treated by Etifoxine and transfected with CELSR2 siRNA were significantly decreased compared with the control siRNA treatment ( P<0.05). Conclusion:Etifoxine could promote proliferation and migration of RSC96. Upregulation of CELSR2 protein expression in RSC96 is associated with the Etifoxine-induced enhancement of cell proliferation and migration.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2007;24(5):969-972
Blood temperature-varying has been widely applied in clinical practice such as extracorporeal circulation for whole-body perfusion hyperthermia (WBPH), body rewarming and blood temperature-varying in organ transplantation. This paper reports a novel DCS (Computer distributed control)-based blood temperature-varying system which includes therapy management function and whose hardware and software can be extended easily. Simulation results illustrate that this system provides precise temperature control with good performance in various operation conditions.

Chinese Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery 2015;18(1):93-97
Colorectal cancer(CRC) cell lines are ideal in vitro models for colorectal cancer study. Although the number of colorectal cell lines increases hence provides diversified choices for research, several problems occur including the uneven quality control, insufficient attention to the origin and biological characteristics of CRC cell lines, resulting in inappropriate selection of CRC cell lines for study. In this paper, we classify the current CRC cell lines for study, review the biological characteristics, current problems of experiment choices, and discuss the exact choice of cell lines for CRC study.

Objective:To explore the effects of behavior intervention on patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease recurrence, carotid artery stenosis recurrence, and quality of life after carotid artery stenting implantation. Methods:Sixty patients with carotid stenosis who underwent stenting surgery between January 2017 and July 2018 in Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University were recruited. The subjects were randomly divided into behavioral intervention group and control group. The control group was routinely followed up after carotid artery stenting implantation. The behavioral intervention group added home visit, education, guidance of the control and detection of risk factors for cerebrovascular disease of stent implantation. Results:After 12 months of intervention, the incidence of ischemic cerebrovascular disease and the recurrence rate of carotid restenosis in the behavioral intervention group(6.7%, 3.3%) were significantly lower than those in the control group(30.0%, 20.0%) (both P<0.05). Six months after the intervention and 12 months after the intervention, the self-management ability score (intervention group: six months after the intervention (171.20±18.43), 12 months after the intervention (179.90±14.34); control group: six months after the intervention (160.77±13.43); 12 months after the intervention (164.27±14.85)) and quality of SS-QOL score (intervention group: 6 months after intervention (188.47±16.25), 12 months after intervention (203.17±13.84); control group: 6 months after intervention (170.67±15.82); 12 months after intervention (183.80±18.19)of the intervention group were higher than that of the control group, the difference is statistically significant (all P<0.05). Conclusion:Behavioral intervention after carotid artery stenting implantation can effectively reduce the incidence of stroke and the recurrence rate of carotid stenosis and improve the prognosis of patients. The mechanism may be related with that the behavioral intervention can improve the self-management ability and the quality of life of patients with carotid stenosis.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of Zilongjin (ZLJ) on human androgen-dependent type of prostate cancer cell line LNCaP.
METHODSMTT assay, flow cytometry and fluorescence microscopy were used to observe the effect of ZLJ in anti-proliferation, cell cycle arresting and apoptosis induction. RT-PCR was used to examine the effect of ZLJ on expressions of prostate marker gene (PSA), androgen receptor (AR), apoptosis related genes (bcl-2 and bax), and Western blot assay was used to detect the effect on protein expression of bcl-2 and bax.
RESULTSZLJ could cause apparent inhibition on proliferation, induce G0/G1 phase arresting and apoptosis in time- and dose-dependent manner on LNCaP cells. The concentration for inhibiting cell growth by 50% (IC50) in 72 hrs was 0.79 mg/ml. ZLJ could down-regulate the expression of PSA, AR, bcl-2 genes and lower bcl-2 protein expression, but showed ineffective on bax protein expression.
CONCLUSIONZLJ displays its anti-tumor effects by way of inhibiting the cell proliferation, arresting the G0/G1 phase, inducing apoptosis, down-regulating PSA, AR, bcl-2 gene expression and lowering bcl-2 protein expressions.
