Cholesterol gallstone disease is prevalent and its incidence is increasing in China. Supersaturation of biliary cholesterol is a prerequisite for gallstone formation.Recent studies show that disorders of hepatic-enteric metabolism of lipids play important roles in the pathogenesis of gallstone disease and these include: increased biliary cholesterol which originates from an increased uptake of plasma high density lipoprotein mediated by scavenger receptor B type 1,increased secretion of cholesterol into bile via hepatic canalicular cholesterol transporters, and increased intestinal cholesterol absorption in gallstone patients. These eventually lead to supersaturation of biliary cholesterol. Evidences also suggest that decreasing hepatic cholesterol loading, promoting biliary bile acids and phospholipids secretion, and/or inhibiting intestinal cholesterol absorption can moderate saturation of biliary cholesterol, and prevent gallstone formation.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
A catheter(0.3 mm O.D.)was introduced into the external carotid artery(ECA) lumen into the lumen of the internal carotid artery(ICA), then it was gently advanced to the intracranial segment of ICA until the intraluminal catheter was 2~3mm from the origin of MCA. At this point thrombin were injected into ICA to induce thrombosis. Behavior disorders were observed at 3, 6, 12h after the operation. Willis circle, infarct volume and histopathologic changes were examined 12 hours after operation. The results showed that the model had stable behavior disorder score and infarct volume. Mixed thrombus could be observed at the origin of the MCA. Infarction volume of this model was similar with that of the model developed by linear occlusion of MCA in our laboratory. The model has the advantages of easy operation, reliable ischemia and reproducible infarct volume. It may be useful in documenting the safety and efficacy of thrombolytic therapies.

This paper mainly studies the driving system of centrifugal blood pump for extracorporeal circulation, with the core being disc magnetic coupling. Structure parameters of disc magnetic coupling are related to the ability of transferring magnetic torque. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out disc magnetic coupling permanent magnet pole number (n), air gap length (L(g)), permanent magnet thickness (L(m)), permanent magnet body inside diameter (R(i)) and outside diameter (R(o)), etc. thoroughly. This paper adopts the three-dimensional static magnetic field edge element method of Ansys for numerical calculation, and analyses the relations of magnetic coupling each parameter to transmission magnetic torque. It provides a good theory basis and calculation method for further optimization of the disc magnetic coupling.

Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute systemic vasculitis that primarily affects young children aged from 6 months to 4 years.KD may lead to coronary artery abnormalities in 25%-30% of the children. The timely use of high dose intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) can significantly reduce the incidence of coronary artery aneurysms. Most clinicians use IVIG combined with aspirin as conventional therapy. But how to deal with those IVIG-resistant patients is a dilemma. With the deepening of research, many researchers have found that some second-line or third-line drugs such as corticosteroids, tumor necrosis factor-α inhibitors, and calcineurin inhibitors work better, and can effectively reduce the complication rate. The recent advances of the treatment of KD were summarized in this paper.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2013;37(6):432-436
Using extracorporeal circulation for cardiopulmonary bypass is the first step for the successful cardiac surgery, and the blood pump is the key component in extracorporeal circulation devices, the control and measurement of mechanical-fluid parameters such as flow rate and pressure are very important to guarantee the successful cardiac surgery. This paper reviews several control methods of the blood pump based on the flow rate/pressure, heart rate, ventricular work and blood assist index, and also discusses the direct and indirect measurements of the flow rate and pressure. This review concludes with the main possible trends for the further development of the blood pump control and testing methods.

Chinese Journal of Forensic Medicine 1987;0(03):-
In this paper, the specific male sequeuce in paraffin section of various tissues with autolys is ofdifferent degrees was detected by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).The results shewed that PCR could be used for identifying sex in the tissues with low degrees ofautolysis; its positive rate was lower in high degrees with disappearance of nuclaic member and cell ou-tline,and often gave false negative results when the autolysis degree was high.

Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute systemic vasculitis that primarily affects young children between 6 months and 4 years old. Coronary arteritis is an important clinical feature of KD because it is associated with aneurysms and thromboembolic events that can lead to severe complications, even sudden death. To date, the etiology and pathogenesis of Kawasaki disease has not been understood completely. In this paper, we will review the recent advances in epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis and genetic susceptibility of Kawasa-ki disease.

Objective To investigate reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the schedule for assessment of insight (SAI).Methods The original version of SAI was translated into Chinese and then backtranslated into English to develop the Chinese version of SAI which reliability and validity were tested.220 subjects who met the diagnosis of Schizophrenia, schizophreniform disorder, schizoaffective disorder, delusional disorder or brief psychotic disorder were assessed. Results The Cronbach's α was 0.890 ; the test-retest reliability was 0.742 ; the inter-rater reliability was 0.986.Three main factors were obtained from the factor load matrix as awareness of illness, ability to relabel psychotic experience, compliance with treatment. The loading coefficient were 0.883-0.944.The correlation of the SAI total score and three subscales with insight of PANSS were-0.635,-0.305,-0.631 and-0.512 respectively (P < 0.01).Conclusion The SAI has good reliability and validity. The scale is useful to measure insight in psychosis.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2010;43(2):115-117
Objective To evaluate the function of motor nerve in patients with diabetic sensory neuropathy (DPN) by estimating the motor units. Methods Fifty-four patients with DPN were divided into two groups according to the nerve conduction abnormality of ulnar nerve. The paresthosia group only included patients of 33 patients (20 male, 13 female) with abnormal sensory conduction. The admixture group included 21 patients (13 male, 8 female) with abnormal motor sensory conduction. The control group included 42 healthy people.A Keypoint4 electromyogram device was used to estimate the motor units of hypothenar muscle, and the fasting blood glucose and the duration of diabetes mellitus were documented. Results The motor units of hypothenar muscle in paresthesia group, admixture group and control group was 97.1±47.6, 63.3±22.3, 173.0±75.5 (F=21.259, P=0.000) respectively. The hypothcnar muscle motor units(84.0±42.8) in 54 patients with DPN had negative correlation (r=-0.414, P=0.002) with the duration of diabetes mellitus (1 month to 26 years) and had no evident correlation with fasting blood glucose (5.0-20.4 mmol/L).Conclusion There is clinical motor nerve damage in patients with diabetic sensory neuropathy, and the loss of motor units is impacted by the duration of diabetes mellitus.
