Objective To investigate the effect of PDCA cycle nursing intervention for patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).Methods 100 patients with gastroesophageal reflux in our hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group received routine care during hospitalization while the observation group used PDCA cycle nursing intervention. Then the scale of gastroesophageal reflux disease questionnaire(RDQ) scores, self-rating depression scale (SDS) score, self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) score were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment. Results The RDQ, SDS and SAS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than that of the control group after nursing intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion PDCA cycle nursing intervention is effective in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux, which has a positive impact on the rehabilitation of patients.
