ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic efficacy of ginger-partitioned moxibustion plus Ba Zhen decoction in treating chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS).MethodSixty patients with CFS were randomized into two groups, 30 in each group. The treatment group was intervened by ginger-partitioned moxibustion plus Ba Zhen decoction, while the control group was by electroacupuncture.ResultAfter 3 treatment courses, the total effective rate was 93.3% in the treatment group versus 83.3% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionGinger-partitioned moxibustion plus Ba Zhen decoction can produce a higher total effective rate than electroacupuncture in treating CFS.

Background and purpose:Over-expression of Hypoxia-inducible factor-1? in tumors was known to be associated with resistance to radiation, chemotherapy and with the more malignant tumor phenotypes relative to increased invasiveness, metastatic potential.Furthermore, research has shown that HIF-1? over-expression is associated with aberrant P53 accumulation in human tumors. So we investigated the significance of HIF-1? expression and the relationships among expression of HIF-1?,P53 and P-gp in gastric carcinoma. Methods:The expressions of HIF-1?,P53 and P-gp were investigated by immunohistochemistry in 74 specimens of gastric carcinoma. Results:The positive percentage of P53 protein was higher in the group with HIF-1? positive than the one with HIF-1? negative(70.45% vs 30.0%).The positive rate of P-gp protein was also higher in HIF-1? positive group than in HIF-1? negative group(61.36% vs 36.67%),The positive expression of HIF-1? was significantly related to expression of P-53 and P-gp(r_(s)=0.372,0.256).The positive rate of P-gp protein was higher in P53 positive group than in P53 negative group.Spearman rank correlation test showed a positive correlation between P53 expression and P-gp(r_(s)=0.0283,P

Objective:To explore the long-term therapeutic efficacy and outcomes of liver transplantation for patients with hepatic myelopathy (HM).Methods:Retrospective analysis of 24 adult liver transplantation recipients due to HM at First Central Municipal Hospital from January 2006 to October 2022. HM was extensively classified by the severity of lower extremity symptoms, degree of muscle stiffness, capability for independent ambulation and muscle strength. Furthermore, their long-term outcomes were examined. From January 2000 to October 2022, the databases of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) , Google Scholar, PubMed and Web of Science were searched with such keywords as "肝性脊髓病and肝移植" "Hepatic Myelopathy and Liver Transplantation" .Results:After liver transplantation, liver functions and blood ammonia normalized and most clinical symptoms improved. During a follow-up period of (12-190) months, 19 patients showed a lowered grade of HC as compared to pre-transplantation. Four cases achieved a complete recovery of extremity function. No change occurred in severity grade for the remaining 5 patients. However, 4 of them experienced varying degrees of improvement in muscle strength and independent walking capability. This review summarized the clinical characteristics and clinical outcomes of 17 patients from both domestic and international sources. Most of them experiences varying degrees of symptomatic improvements after liver transplantation (16 cases). Conclusions:This study has confirmed the effectiveness of liver transplantation for HM and its contribution to the long-term patient recovery.

The aim of this study was to investigate the clinical characteristics of neonates born to SARS-CoV-2 infected mothers and increase the current knowledge on the perinatal consequences of COVID-19. Nineteen neonates were admitted to Tongji Hospital from January 31 to February 29, 2020. Their mothers were clinically diagnosed or laboratory-confirmed with COVID-19. We prospectively collected and analyzed data of mothers and infants. There are 19 neonates included in the research. Among them, 10 mothers were confirmed COVID-19 by positive SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR in throat swab, and 9 mothers were clinically diagnosed with COVID-19. Delivery occurred in an isolation room and neonates were immediately separated from the mothers and isolated for at least 14 days. No fetal distress was found. Gestational age of the neonates was 38.6 ± 1.5 weeks, and average birth weight was 3293 ± 425 g. SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR in throat swab, urine, and feces of all neonates were negative. SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR in breast milk and amniotic fluid was negative too. None of the neonates developed clinical, radiologic, hematologic, or biochemical evidence of COVID-19. No vertical transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and no perinatal complications in the third trimester were found in our study. The delivery should occur in isolation and neonates should be separated from the infected mothers and care givers.

Objective:
To investigate the safety and efficacy of Warfarin combined with Aspirin in the treatment of multiple medium and giant coronary artery aneurysms in Kawasaki disease(KD).
Methods:
Clinical and follow-up data of 45 children diagnosed with KD complicated with multiple medium-sized and giant coronary artery aneurysms from April 2014 to December 2018 at Guangzhou Women and Children′s Medical Center were collected. These children were divided into 2 groups.A total of 31 cases received regular oral Warfarin combined with Aspirin called experimental group. There were 14 patients treated with oral Aspirin and Clopidogrel called control group.General information, laboratory examination, electrocardiogram, echocardiography, outcome and bleeding complications of the 2 groups were analyzed retrospectively.
Results:
(1) In experimental group, there were 22 patients found thrombosis under echocardiography. The 10 patients′ thrombosis disappeared, 5 patients′ thrombosis reduced, and 2 patients′ increased after treatment. In control group, there were 5 cases found thrombosis. The 2 cases′ thrombosis reduced and 3 cases′ throm-bosis increased. The number of thrombosis in experimental group was significantly reduced, and the number of new thrombosis was less than that in control group (
