Objective: To design the “one-year physical activity questionnaire” used in 2002 China National Nutrition and Health Survey. Methods: The intensity of each activity in the questionnaire was assessed from literature review and experts consultation. The energy intake was calculated from food frequency questionnaire for validation of the physical activity questionnaire. Results: The average daily energy expenditure per capita estimated from the questionnaire was 11.6MJ (male 11.9MJ, female 11.2MJ). The average physical activity level (PAL) was 1.95 (male 1.88, female 2.02). There was significant correlation between energy expenditure and energy intake (r = 0.13, P

Objective: To describe the physical activity level and its influencing factors of Chinese professionals, to provide basis for developing intervention strategies. Method: The information on physical activity was collected by one year physical activity questionnaire in "2002 China National Nutrition and Health Survey", and 29 783 professionals aged 18-59 years old(male 15 911, female 13 872)were involved. Metabolic equivalent (MET) was adopted to estimate the intensity level of physical activities. Physical activity level (PAL) was calculated to classify sufficient (PAL≥1.7) or insufficient (PAL

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of tendon-regulating manipulation plus kinesiotherapy in treating low back pain. Methods:Sixty patients were randomized into a treatment group and a control group by using the random number table, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened by tendon-regulating manipulation plus kinesiotherapy, while the control group was by the tendon-regulating manipulation alone. The lumbar lordosis was measured by X-ray (side view), the pain was evaluated by analgesy meter, the lumbar range of motion was by using goniometer, and the function was judged by Oswestry disability index (ODI) before and after treatment, and the therapeutic efficacy was also observed. Results:After treatment, the pain level was significantly reduced, lumbar lordosis was significantly increased, the lumbar range of motion was markedly improved, and the ODI score significantly dropped (allP<0.05) in both groups; the improvement of each item in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group (allP<0.05). The total effective rate was 90.0% in the treatment group versus 63.3% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:In the treatment of low back pain, tendon-regulating manipulation plus kinesiotherapy can mitigate topical pain, improve the motion of low back, enhance the quality of life, and produce a more significant therapeutic efficacy compared to tendon-regulating manipulation alone.

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Gemcitabine in combination with radiotherapy for elderly patients with cervical cancer .Methods:From December 2016 to August 2018, 84 elderly patients with advanced cervical cancer receiving treatment in our hospital were enrolled. As a randomized controlled study, patients were divided into the radiotherapy-alone group and the combined therapy group.Patients in the combined therapy group was given radiotherapy and Gemcitabine. The short- and long-term efficacy, and the rate of adverse reactions were evaluated for the two groups. Results:Tumors in both groups were effectively controlled after treatment. The overall rate of effectiveness in the radiotherapy-alone group was significantly lower than that in the combined therapy group(67.6% vs.87.2%, χ2=4.756, P=0.029). The combined therapy group was associated with a significantly higher survival rate(89.4% vs.59.5%, χ2=10.204, P=0.001), a local recurrence-free rate(83.0% vs.54.1%, χ2=8.286, P=0.004), and a distant metastasis-free survival rate(83.0% vs.56.8%, χ2=6.975, P=0.008), compared with the radiotherapy-alone group.Additionally, the incidence of leukopenia was higher in the combined therapy group than in the radiotherapy-alone group(38.3% vs.13.5%, χ2=8.396, P=0.011). Conclusion:The combination of radiotherapy with Gemcitabine for the treatment of advanced cervical cancer in elderly patients can effectively enhance control on cancerous tissues, improve the long-term survival rate, and reduce the risk of local recurrence.

Objective To investigate the distribution and clinical characteristics of TCM syndromes in infertility patients with autoimmune thyroiditis(AIT).Methods By referring to the relevant literature on the distribution of TCM syndromes of AIT and infertility in women of childbearing age,the TCM Syndromes Survey of Infertility Patients with Autoimmune Thyroiditis was formulated.256 cases of infertility patients with AIT who underwent in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET)at the Reproductive Center of The First Affiliated Hospital of University of Science and Technology of China from June 2019 to December 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. The data of basic information,TCM syndromes, basic thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH),thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPO-Ab)and thyroglobulin antibody(TG-Ab)were collected.By means of frequency analysis and systematic cluster analysis, the distribution regularity of TCM syndromes in infertility patients with AIT were concluded. Results After analysis, the following 5 common syndrome elements were obtained, namely,qi deficiency, liver depression, spleen deficiency, kidney deficiency and blood stasis. In addition,it was concluded that this disease was more common in complex syndromes.Through systematic clustering analysis, main TCM syndromes of this disease were obtained, which were qi deficiency and liver depression syndrome(69 cases,26.9%),spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome(45 cases,17.6%),spleen qi deficiency syndrome(38 cases,14.8%),qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome(36 cases,14.1%),kidney deficiency and liver depression syndrome(32 cases,12.5%)and other syndrome types(36 cases,14.1%).The basic TSH level was higher in patients with qi deficiency and liver depression syndrome, spleen qi deficiency syndrome,qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome than other syndrome types, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in TPO-Ab and TG-Ab titers among different syndromes(P>0.05).Conclusion TCM syndromes of infertility patients with AIT can be clustered into qi deficiency and liver depression syndrome, spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome, spleen qi deficiency syndrome,qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, kidney deficiency and liver depression syndrome and other syndrome. The main element of syndrome is qi deficiency, and the pathological sites involved spleen, kidney and liver.Stasis blood is a main pathological product. It is required to pay close attention to the thyroid function in AIT patients with qi deficiency.
