Objective Vimentin is the major protein consisting of intermediate filaments in normal and neoplastic mesenchymal cells. It has been regarded as a marker of epithelial mesenchymal transition( EMT) .How-ever,little is known about colorectal cancer( CRC) with Vimentin expression as a marker of EMT and prognosis. Methods We investigated the expression of Vimentin in CRC tissues and determined the correlations between Vimentin expression patterns and clinicopathologic characteristics and prognosis in CRC.In total,189 patients di-agnosed with CRC based on histopathological evaluation and those subjected to surgical resection at the Liaoning Province Cancer Hospital and Institute between 2000 and 2002 were examined.Immunohistochemical staining for Vimentin was performed for each specimen. Results Positive expression of Vimentin was significantly associated with the lymph node metastasis(pN stage,P=0.038),TNM stage(P=0.024).Survival analysis revealed that positive Vimentin expression was significantly related to poor prognosis ( P =0.016 ) .Multivariate analysis re-vealed that Vimentin expression was an independent prognostic factor for patient survival in colorectal cancer ( P=0.026) .Conclusion In conclusion, our data provide novel evidence for the clinical significance of Vimentin ex -pression as potential predictive biomarkers for identifying patients with lymph node metastasis or poor prognosis in CRC.

Objective To observe the nutritional biochemical indicators of paraquat poisoning patients, analyze and compare the nutritional status of patients and understand the changing trend of each indicator. Methods A total of 104 patients with acute paraquat poisoning who were admitted to the emergency department of the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from December 2015 to December 2017 were enrolled, and divided into the cure group (patients who survived >30 days) and the death group. Nutritional biochemical indicators including serum protein (ALB, PA, TP) and serum lipids (TCh, TG, LDL) were selected for dynamic observation. The observation time points were set as follows: immediate treatment of poisoned patients (day 1 on admission), on day 4, 7, 10, 13 and 16 after admission, and on day 30 after follow-up. The nutritional biochemical indicators of the two groups on day 1 and 4 were statistically analyzed and compared by t test. The nutritional status of the patients in the cure group was analyzed, and the Repeated Measures Anova was performed to understand the trend of each indicator over time. Results In the cure group, the TP level decreased from (73.34±5.75)g/L on day 1 to (51.95±6.05)g/L on day 4, t=20.34, P<0.01; and the TCh level decreased from (4.37±0.98) mmol/L on day 1 to (3.03±1.01)mmol/L on day 4, t=7.56, P<0.01. In the death group, the TP level decreased from (72.25±8.80)g/L on day 1 to (49.07±5.48)g/L on day 4, t=12.38, P<0.01, and the TCh level decreased from (4.38±0.88)mmol/L on day 1 to (2.51±1.07) mmol/L on day 4, t=7.94, P<0.01. Compared with the cure group, serum levels of ALB, TP and TCh in the death group decreased greater from day 1 to day 4 (all P<0.05). In addition, dynamic observation of the indicators in the cure group within 16 days after admission showed that, after treatment, the levels of ALB and TP recovered slowly and were still lower than normal . While the levels of PA and lipid rose rapidly after 10 days of admission. Conclusions Paraquat poisoning seriously affects the nutritional status of patients, and the serum protein levels decline significantly and can not be recovered easily. Therefore, sufficient attention should be paid to the treatment, and timely and appropriate nutritional support should be provided.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(1):23-27
Objective:
To systematically review the associations of physical activity (PA), sedentary behavior (SB) and sleep with obesity, as well as isotemporal substitution effects among behaviors, determined with compositional data analysis methods, to provide a reference for obesity interventions among children and adolescents.
Methods:
Studies in the CNKI, Wanfang, PubMed, SPORTDiscus, Web of Science and Medline databases were searched from January 1, 2014 to May 1, 2022. Two experienced reviewers independently completed document screening, data extraction and quality assessment.
Results:
Sixteen articles were included, with a methodological quality score range of 7-12 points. Moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA), sleep and obesity were negatively correlated, and substituting other behaviors with MVPA decreased obesity risk. The substitution time ranged from 1.5 min/day to 60 min/day. Light physical activity(LPA) and SB were positively correlated with obesity.
Conclusion
MVPA is the primary focus of obesity interventions in children and adolescents, and extra 60 min of MVPA per week on the existing level of physical activity may be the minimum necessary to decrease the risk of obesity.

Objective:To explore the method and clinical efficacy of Flow-through latissimus dorsi musculocutaneous flap to repair children’s limb wounds. Methods:From January, 2017 to September, 2019, the Flow-through latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap was used to repair the limb wounds in 9 children, which were 3 cases of upper extremity wounds and 6 cases of lower extremity wounds. The patients were 5-12 years old, with an average age of 9.4 years. The wound debridement was performed in the first stage, and the wound was covered with VSD. The second operation was performed 5-8 days later. Flow-through free latissimus dorsi muscle flap was used to repair the wound, and 6 patients combined with skin grafting. During the operation, both ends of the recipient area artery were trimmed into a downward slant. The proximal end of the recipient area blood vessel was coincided with the subscapular artery, the distal end was coincided with the circumflex scapular artery, and the thoracodorsal vein and the recipient area vein were coincided. One patient had 2 thoracodorsal veins, and 8 patients had 1 thoracodorsal vein. After the operation, the patients were given anti-infection, anticoagulation and antispasmodic treatment. And regular follow-up.Results:In this group, 8 flaps survived completely, and 1 had partial epidermal necrosis, which healed under the scab. Skin grafting survives well. Nine patients were followed-up for 3 to 28 months, 7 of which were followed-up in the outpatient clinic, and 2 by WeChat. CDU showed smooth blood flow in all patients 1 month after operation, in addition of 3 after 1 year. The flap had good blood flow and soft texture. Flap plastic surgery was performed in 3 cases. Conclusion:Using Flow-through latissimus dorsi musculocutaneous flap to repair the wounds of the children’s limbs, the flap survived well after the operation, and the blood circulation of the main vessel in the affected area was smooth, which had no obvious effect on the blood supply to the distal limb of the affected area.

Objective:To analyze the correlation between the severity of acute pancreatitis (AP) and the levels of zonulin, zonula occludens protein-1 (ZO-1), tumor necrosis factor -α (TNF -α) in the peripheral blood of patients with acute pancreatitis (AP), and the value of predicting moderate and severe AP.Methods:The clinical data of 115 AP patients admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from June 2020 to January 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into mild group (69 cases) and moderate severe group (46 cases). The blood levels of zonulin, ZO-1, and TNF-α were measured for all patients on the 1st, 3rd, and 7th day after admission, and the results of the two group tests were compared. The correlation between zonulin, ZO-1, TNF -α and Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation Ⅱ (APACHE Ⅱ) scores on the 1st day was and the value of various indicators for predicting moderate to severe AP were analyzed. Results:The C-reactive protein (CRP) levels of AP patients in the moderate to severe group were higher than those in the mild group, and the difference was statistically significant (all P<0.05). The levels of zonulin, ZO-1, and TNF -α in AP patients in the moderate to severe group showed an upward trend on the 1st, 3rd, and 7th days after admission. The levels of zonulin, ZO-1, and TNF -α in AP patients in the moderate to severe group were higher than those in the mild group at the same time point, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The APACHE Ⅱ score of AP patients on the first day of admission was positively correlated with the levels of zonulin, ZO-1, and TNF -α ( r=0.736, 0.552, 0.621, all P<0.05). Zonulin had the highest area under the curve (AUC) for predicting moderate to severe AP, at 0.892, with an optimal threshold of 2.075 pg/ml. Zonulin had the highest sensitivity, at 0.804, and ZO-1 had the highest specificity, at 0.926. Using zonulin ≥2.075 pg/ml, ZO-1≥399.4 ng/ml, and TNF -α≥40.88 pg/ml as thresholds; the sensitivity and specificity obtained from parallel experiments were 0.976 and 0.710, respectively; The sensitivity and specificity obtained from the series of experiments were 0.326 and 0.999, respectively. Conclusions:There is a correlation between the serum levels of zonulin, ZO-1, and TNF -α in AP patients and the severity of AP. Zonulin, ZO-1, and TNF -α have certain clinical value in predicting moderate to severe AP.
