Objective:To observe the effect of calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) on the expression of osteoprotegerin (OPG) and receptor activator of nuclear factor-kappaB ligand (RANKL) in osteoblast cells through an in vitro breast cancer cell and osteoblast cell co-culture system. Methods:The metastatic breast cancer MDA-MB-231 or MDA-MB-435 cells were co-cultured with osteoblast MG63 cells to establish an in vitro microenvironment of bone metastasis of breast cancer. After treated with CGRP(1?108 mol/L),OPG and RANKL mRNA and protein expressions in osteoblast MG63 cells were examined by RT-PCR and Western blotting. Objective To explore the resilience characteristics of the traumatic fracture patients and its influence on acute stress disorder(ASD),and provide the basis for improving the population's ability to cope with stressful events and resilience level for clinic.Methods 440 cases of traumatic fracture patients hospitalized in Tangshan Second Hospital were selected in this study.All subjects were assessed with SAS-RQ,CD-RISC,AIS-ISS,VAS and the general condition of investigations.Results The resilience level of traumatic fracture patients was at the middle,the resilience total score was(51.13±14.81) points,and lower than that of the national norm(t=-20.217,P＜0.01).Sex,age,personality and injury severity had the impact on resilience (P＜0.05).Resilience dimensions and total scores had negative correlation with SASRQ dimen sions and its total score (r=-0.587--0.739,P＜0.01).High-leveled resilience patients have lower ASD scores and lighter symptoms(P＜ 0.05).The multivariate analysis appeaed that resilience and the degree of pain were the main factors affecting ASD (P＜ 0.05).Conclusion The resilience level of the traumatic frac ture patients should be further improved and the construction of resilience should be strengthened in order to prevent the occurrence of ASD.

OBJECTIVE:To systematically analyze the efficacy and safety of benazepril vs. captopril in the treatment of prima-ry hypertension and provide evidence-based reference for the clinical treatment. METHODS:Cochrane Library,PubMed,EM-Base,CJFD,VIP database and Wanfang database were retrieved to collect the randomized controlled trials (RCT) of benazepril (experiment group)vs. captopril(control group)in the treatment of primary hypertension. After information collection and quality evaluation,Meta-analysis was conducted by using Rev Man 5.0 software. RESULTS:Totally 7 RCTs involving 405 patients were in-cluded. The results of Meta-analysis showed that the level of systolic blood pressure(SBP)[MD=-2.06,95%CI(-3.75,-0.38), P=0.02] and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)[MD=-3.10,95%CI(-5.19,-1.01),P=0.004] in experiment group was sig-nificantly lower than control group;however,there were no significant differences between the efficacy rate of antihypertension [OR=1.63,95%CI(0.69,3.83),P=0.26] and incidence of adverse drug reactions(ADR)[OR=0.81,95%CI(0.46,1.41),P=0.45] in 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:Benazepril can more effectively lower the blood pressure of patients with primary hypertension than captopril. Due to the limitation of methodology quality,it remains to be further verified by high-quality and large-sample RCT.

Objective To evaluate the effect of C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP) on paraquat-induced pulmonary fibrosis in mice.Methods Fifty-four male Kunming mice,aged 8-10 weeks,weighing 30-35 g,were randomly divided into 3 groups (n=18 each) using a random number table:control group (C group),pulmonary fibrosis group (PF group) and CNP group.Paraquat 10 mg/kg (in 0.1 ml of normal saline) was injected intraperitoneally once every 3 days for 5 times in total in PF and CNP groups,and in addition CNP 3 μg/kg (in 0.1 ml of normal saline) was simultaneously injected via the tail vein once every 2 days for 14 times in total in group CNP.The equal volume of normal saline was given instead of paraquat in group C.On days 1,8 and 15 after the end of administation of paraquat,6 mice were sacrificed,and lungs were removed for determination of wet to dry weight ratio (W/D ratio),hydroxyproline (HYP) content (using alkaline hydrolysis),and transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-β1) content (using enzymelinked immunosorbent assay) in lung tissues.Results Compared with group C,the W/D ratio and contents of HYP and TGF-β1 in lung tissues were significantly increased at each time point after the end of administation of paraquat (P＜0.05),and the pulmonary fibrosis was obvious in group PF.Compared with group PF,the W/D ratio and contents of HYP and TGF-β1 in lung tissues were significantly decreased at each time point after the end of administation of paraquat (P＜0.05),and the pulmonary fibrosis was significantly attenuated in group CNP.Conclusion CNP can reduce paraquat-induced pulmonary fibrosis in mice.

Fourly adult healthy patients were separately anesthetlzed with (1 )0. 95% isoflurane; (2) fentanyl 5g/kg and thiopentone 4 mg/kg; (3) upper thoracic epidural blockage and (4 ) lumbar epidural blockage,Continuous 5 min ECG were recorded before and a fier anesthesia with spectral analysis of heart rate varlability (HRV) performed by computer program. For power spectral measurement,three frequency band of HRV were evaluated and the effects of each anesthesia were compared. HRV reduced markedly in patients using 0. 95 % isoflurane. with decreases of frequency by 91. 7% (low frequency ), 84. 4% (mid frequency ). and 82% (high-frequency) respectively. In patients after administration of fentanyl 5g/kg, mid and high-frequency components declined 63. 4 % and 65. 4 %. Upper thoracic epidural block restrained the mid and low frequency components by 66 % and 65 % respectively, Following lumbar epidural block the pattern of HRV components did not change. It is concluded that different anesthesia techniques may have significant different effects on autonomic reflexes as presented by HRV.

Methods Two hundred and twenty-five women with moderate PIH were studied while treated with Salvia miltiorrhiza, Ligustrazine and magnesium sulfate in group A, B, and C(n=75 respectively). Concentrations of SOD, MDA, NO, ET, TXA 2, PGI 2 in blood, blood pressure, postpartum hemorrhage, fetal distress, and neonatal asphyxia were monitored. Magnesium sulfate may interfere the results of the monitoring on the fetal heart rate.
