Objective] Summarize the pathogenesis of asthma and leukotriene receptor in latest research situation. [Methods]Check out the past five years CNKI, VIP data, PUBMED data to leukotrienes and asthma for keyword research literature, and classification, summary. [Results]Numerous clinical studies, in vivo and in vitro experiments showed that leukotrienes and their receptors are involved in the pathogenesis of asthma and progress in a multi-cell, multi-session, and interact with a variety of cytokines.[Conclusion]With concept of wholism as the characteristics of the Genomics technologies, more suitable as a primary means of application in the field of medical research has an overall concept for the regulation of traditional Chinese medicine research in the field of drugs to treat asthma leukotriene pathway and provide a new perspective.

Objective To present a solution of the hospital information management access control for more secure information sharing. Methods Several commonly used access control models were compared. Some problems of the RBAC model were analyzed in the hospital information circumstances. Results A solution of space-based data access control was presented on the base of the role-based access control (RBAC) module. Conclusion The space-based data access control method can reduce space consumption and maintain data consistency, which is more suitable for the use of the hospital management information system.

OBJECTIVE To provide evidences for working out methods of nosocomial infection surveillance on the basis of investigation of nosocomial infection in our hospital.METHODS By efforts of the professional staff of hospital,with cooperation of the clinic personnel infection management group,all patients were investigated by bed-visiting and patients medical records checking.The data were analyzed.RESULTS Of the 1261 patients investigated,the prevalence rate of NI was 5.15%.The common sites of nosocomial infections were lower respiratory tract(32.31%),upper respiratory tract(16.92%),surgical wound(9.23%)and peritoneal cavity(6.15%).CONCLUSIONS The prevalence survey is a rapid and efficient method,which could offer evidence of target surveillance of NI.

Objective To test and evaluate the lung function of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD),and to explore the correlation and characteristics between IBD and abnormal lung function.Methods From January 2012 to June 2013,74 hospitalized patients with IBD were collected,among them 34 cases were ulcerative colitis (UC) and 40 cases were Crohn's disease (CD).At the same period,74 healthy individuals were enrolled as controls.The database of history was established.The general state,chemical examinations,lung function,chest X-ray,the diagnosis and treatment were statistically analyzed separately.T test was performed for comparison between groups of measurement data,chi square test was for comparison between groups of count data,rank-sum test was for comparison between groups of ordinal data,and Logistic regression was for multivariate analysis.Results Among the 74 patients with IBD,56 patients (75.68％) were found with abnormal lung function.The percentage of abnormal residual volume of IBD and CD group was 51.35％(38/74) and 60.00％(24/40),which were higher than that of control group [31.08％ (23/74)] and the differences were statistically significant (t=-2.557,P=0.013; t=2.236,P=0.031).There were no significant difference between UC and CD group (P＞0.05).There was no significant correlation between abnormal pulmonary function and the severity of IBD (F=0.744,P=0.690) or extent of lesion (F-2.796,P=0.424).The course of disease ≥five years was a possible protecitive actor (OR=0.824,95％CI:0.687-0.987),and elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) was a possible risk factor (OR=1.093,95％CI:0.994-1.202).Conclusions Most IBD patients are complicated with impaired lung function.It might occur regardless of severity or extent of disease.Course of the disease and ESR may he the influence factors in abnormal lung function.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of laparoscopic tubal anastomosis after tubal sterilization.Methods A total of 27 cases of fallopian tube anastomosis with tubal anastomosis were performed under laparoscopy.After removing the sterilized scar in the tubes the hydrotubation was carried out using Methylene Blue to detect whether the tube was patent.By using 6/0 absorbable thread,we sutured the mesosalpinx with 2 or 3 stitches to close the both ends of the fallopian tube.And then,isthmus-isthmus(1 whole-layer stitch at the 12 o'clock,and then 1-stitch sutures at the serous layer of the 8 and 4 o'clock respectively)ampulla-ampulla(1 whole-layer stitch at the 12 o'clock,and then 1-stitch sutures at the whole layers of the 9,7,5,and 3 o'clock respectively),or isthmus-ampulla(same method as the ampulla-ampulla anastomosis but more closed sutures)was performed.The patients received hydrotubation at the first day after the operation and then 3 to 5 days after the first menstruation.They were followed up for every 6 months till pregnancy.Results In the 27 patients(54 tubes),the rate of patency was 88.9%(48/54).The patent rate in the patients received isthmus-isthmus or ampulla-ampulla anastomosis was 86.5%(32/37)and 100%(15/15)respectively.In the 2 cases of isthmus-ampulla anastomosis,one was patent after the operation,and in the other,the Methylene Blue test showed anastomotic leakage.The hydrotubation performed at the first day after the treatment showed a rate of patent in 25 cases(2.6%,25/27),only two patient showed obstruction of the tube(7.4%,2/27).Follow-up was available in 26 of the patients up to over 6 months,19 of them had intrauterine pregnancy(73.1%,19/26)in 24 months after the procedure,among which 89.5%(17/19)occurred in 12 months;one(3.8%,1/26)patient developed ectopic pregnancy.Conclusions Laparoscopic tubal anastomosis is safe and effective for patients who desire reversal after sterilization.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the bacterial endotoxin test of nicardipine hydrochloride glucose injection.METHODS:The bacterial endotoxin test was carried out according to the bacterial endotoxin test in the addenda of China Pharmacopeia 2005 edition(second part).RESULTS:Nicardipine hydrochloride glucose injection showed interference on the bacterial endotoxin test when water was taken as solvent.The preliminary interference test and interference test revealed that using thinnerⅠas solvent,the sample injection in over 4-fold dilution had no interference on the bacterial endotoxin test.CONCLUSIONS:It is feasible for bacterial endotoxin test of nicardipine hydrochloride glucose injection be conducted in a limit value of 0.5 EU?mL-1.The bacterial endotoxin text can substitute pyrogen test in the detection of nicardipine hydrochloride glucose injection.

Achalasia is an esophageal motility disorder involving the smooth muscle layer of the esophagus and the lower esophageal sphincter. It is characterized by difficulty swallowing, regurgitation, and sometimes chest pain. Peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) was developed by Inoue to provide a less invasive permanent treatment for esophageal achalasia. We applied this method to cure successfully a 47-year-old female with achalasia. The procedure was as follows: after creating submucosal tunnel, endoscopic myotomy of circular muscle bundles was carried out at approximately 16 cm in total length ( 15 cm in distal esophagus and 1 cm in cardia). Smooth passing of endoscope through gastroesophageal junction was confirmed at the end of the procedure. The third day after POEM, the barium meal examination revealed the barium smoothly passed though the cardia. The short-term outcome of POEM for achalasia was excellent, and further studies on long-term efficacy and on comparison of POEM with other interventional therapies are awaited.

Objective: To examine the association between the cross-resistance to ethionamide (Eto) and isoniazid (INH) and mutations of drug resistant genes in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB), so as to provide the evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment for multidrug-resistant (MDR) tuberculosis. Methods: Totally 126 MTB clinical isolates were selected, including 88 MDR-MTB clinical isolates and 38 INH- and rifampicin (RFP)-sensitive isolates. The resistance to INH and Eto was tested in MTB clinical isolates using the drug susceptibility test, and the mutations in the spacer region of INH and Eto resistance-related katG, inhA, ethA, mshA, ndh, spacer region of oxyR-ahpC and inhA promoter were detected using PCR assay. The phenotypic resistance served as a gold standard, and the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of gene mutation tests were calculated for detection of MTB clinical isolates cross-resistant to INH and Eto. Results: Of the 126 MTB clinical isolates, there were 37 isolates cross-resistant to INH and Eto (29.37%), 51 isolates with resistance to INH and susceptibility to Eto (40.48%), 4 isolates with susceptibility to INH and resistance to Eto (3.17%) and 34 isolates with susceptibility to INH and Eto (26.98%). Among the 41 Eto-resistant MTB clinical isolates, there were 37 isolates with resistance to INH (90.24%). There were 64 MTB clinical isolates detected with katG mutations (50.79%), 4 isolates with mutation in the spacer region of oxyR-ahpC (3.17%), 2 isolates with inhA mutations (1.59%), and these isolates were all resistant to INH. There were 11 MTB clinical isolates detected with mutation in the inhA promoter (8.73%) and one isolate with ndh mutation, and all these isolates were cross-resistant to INH and Eto. There were 23 MTB clinical isolates detected with ethA mutations (18.25%) and 40 isolates with mshA mutations (31.75%), in which Eto-susceptible and -resistant isolates were detected. The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of inhA promoter tests for detection of cross-resistance to INH and Eto were 29.73% (95%CI: 16.44%-47.17%), 100.00% (95%CI: 87.36%-100.00%) and 63.38% (95%CI: 51.76%-73.63%) in MTB clinical isolates. Conclusions The prevalence of INH resistance is high in Eto-resistant MTB clinical isolates. Mutation in the inhA promoter region correlates with the cross-resistance to INH and Eto in MTB clinical isolates, and detection of mutation in the inhA promoter may be feasible to detect the cross-resistance to INH and Eto in MTB clinical isolates.

By taking the course of laboratory hematology in Curtin University in Australia as an ex-ample, this paper introduced the characteristics of its teaching mode, teaching contents, teaching methods, assessment methods and laboratory practice. The advantages and disadvantages of education characteristics between Australia and China were compared and analyzed on the training methods and the training objec-tives, respectively. The education characteristics of laboratory hematology in Curtin University provided an important inspiration for our education reform in the field of medical laboratory in the future.
