ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of controlled subcutaneous analgesia(PCSA) with sufentanil in patients underwent abdominal surgery and the occurrence of adverse reactions. Methods90 patients underwent abdominal surgery were randomly divided intothree groups with 30 cases each. Group Ⅰ :sufentanil 0. 04μg · kg-1 ·h-1 for postoperative analgesia; Group Ⅱ : sufentanil 0. 06μg · kg-1 · h-1 for postoperative analgesia; Group Ⅲ :sufentanil 0.08μg/kg · h for postoperative analgesia;PCSA started at the end of operation with catheter buried in deltoid muscle. Visual analgesia scale(VAS) ,Rasmay scale and side effects were recorded at 4,8,16,24 and 48h after operation. ResultsVAS scores decreased significantly in group Ⅱ and group Ⅲ compared with that in group Ⅰ ( all P < 0.05) ;There were no differences of Ramsay scores between groups ( all P > 0. 05) ;There were three cases of respiratory depression in group Ⅲ. ConclusionPCSA with sufentanil (0.06μg/kg) had exact analgesic effects for postoperative abdominal surgery patients with less adverse reactions.

Objective To investigate the expression of serum thrombopoietin (TPO) in patients with hemophagocytic syndrome (HPS) and to evaluate its clinical significance. Methods The clinical data of HPS patients from Beijing Friendship Hospital,Capital Medical University during the period from September 2008 to July 2010 were collected. They were divided into infection-associated HPS,tumor-associated HPS and rheumatological disease associated HPS according to different causes. The serum concentration of TPO in HPS patients and 26 healthy controls was measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Then the correlations between TPO and laboratory indicators was analyzed. Results The level of serum TPO in 26 cases of HPS was significantly lower than that of control group (P =0.001) and the variance was not statistically significant in different causes of HPS groups using ANOVA (P =0.183). The TPO levels in HPS patients showed positive correlations with serum creatinine, after we detected their TPO levels and platelets, red blood cells, hemoglobin, serum creatinine, urea nitrogen, triglyceride, fibrinogen, ferritin,NK cell activity and sCD25 levels on the same day. Conclusion TPO together with various cytokines may affect the formation of blood cells in HPS patients, and its reduction may be associated with impaired liver function. The underlying mechanism remains to be further explored.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(38):6104-6108
BACKGROUND:Artificial cornea titanium scaffold has a higher complication rate in clinical usage; therefore, to seek a kind of artificial corneal scaffold with high biocompatibility is a hot spot.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the biocompatibility of the artificial cornea titanium scaffold with hydroxyapatite surface modification.
METHODS: Twenty-seven New Zealand white rabbits were enroled to make alkali burn models of the right cornea and then randomized into three groups: in experimental group, artificial cornea titanium scaffold with hydroxyapatite surface modification was implanted into the right eye; in control group, artificial cornea titanium scaffold was implanted into the right eye; in blank group, no scaffold was implanted into the right eye. At 2, 4, 16 weeks after implantation, the right corneas were taken out for pathological observation and scanning electron microscope observation.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:At 16 weeks after implantation, there was no difference in the number of inflammatory cels and fibroblasts among the three groups. Over time, in the experimental group, the corneal tissues, fibrous tissues and adhered extracelular matrices were increased gradualy. In addition, the experimental group had more adherent corneal tissues, extracelular matrices and better tissue healing than the control and blank groups. These findings indicate that the artificial cornea titanium scaffold with hydroxyapatite surface modification had good biocompatibility that can effectively promote proliferation of corneal cels and corneal vascularization.

International Journal of Pediatrics 2016;43(1):59-63
Paired box2 ( PAX2 ) is a transciption factor which mainly expressed in the developing kid-ney. Researches indicate that PAX2 promote the transcription through interactions with the adaptor PAX transac-tivation domain interacting protein(PTIP). Otherwise,PAX2 protein can lead to chromatin compaction and gene silencing through interactions with Grg4. PAX2 reexpressed in acute kidney injury and involved in promoting cell proliferation. Congenital PAX2 gene mutation is closely related to congenital abnormalies of the kidney and uri-nary tract. In chronic kidney disease,PAX2 promote proliferation and cyst formation. Here, the recent researches on the function of PAX2 and its role in acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease are reviewed.

Objective To observe the changes of calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) in rat spinal motoneuron after upper motoneuron injury. Methods Thirty six adult male Wistar rats were selected. Spinal cord transection was made at the lower thoracic segment. The lumbar regions of spinal cord were removed immediately, 1, 2, 4, 7 and 14 days after surgery to be divided into dorsal and ventral sections. The content of CGRP in ventral section was detected using radioimmunoassay method. Results The level of CGRP in spinal motoneuron of the lumbar region was decreased significantly after transection of spinal cord, reached the lowest level on the 2nd day after surgery and then maintained at the low level. Conclusions The upper motoneuron injury can result in the decrease of CGRP content in spinal motoneuron.

95mmHg) were randomly divided into 3 equal groups of 20 each : thiopental group, etomidate group and propofol group. All patients were prmedicated with intramuscular phenobarbital 0. 1g and atropine 0.5mg. Anesthesia was induced with thiopental 4mg?kg-1 or etomidate 0.3mg?kg-1 or propofol 2mg?kg-1, midazolam 0.1mg?kg-1, fentanyl 5?g?kg-1 and vecuronium 0.1mg?kg-1 and maintained with isoflurane inhalation and intermittent boluses of fentanyl and vecuronium. Blood samples were taken before anesthesia(To), 2min after induction(T1) and 2 and 10 min after tracheal intubation (T2, T3) for determination of plasma levels of endothelin(ET), calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP), neuropeptide Y (NPY) and neurotensin (NT). Results The three groups were compared with regard to age, sex and weight. BP significantly decreased after induction with thiopental or propofol but increased significantly after intubation in thiopental group and etomidate group. ET and NPY decreased but CGRP and NT increased significantly after induction in thiopental and propofol group. The plasma levels of all four neuropeptides increased significantly after tracheal intubation in thiopental and etomidata group but remained unchanged in propofol group. Conclusions Propofol is the intravenous anesthetic of choice for induction of anesthesia in patients with hypertension.
