Objective To compare the clinical outcome of external fixation device with Kirschner wire or fragment fixation pin with mini plate and screw fixation in treatment of metacarpal and phalangeal articular fracture dislocation. Methods From October 2002 to March 2008, 106 patients with metacarpal and phalangeal articular fracture dislocation were randomly divided into A and B group. The 53 patients in A group were treated with external fixation device with Kirschner wire or fragment fixation pin. There were thumb injury in 24 cases, fracture-dislocation of proximal interphalangeal joint(PIP) in 36 cases, fracture-dislocation of metacarpophalangeal joint (MP) in 17 cases. The 53 patients in B group were treated with mini plate and screw fixation. There were thumb injury in 22 cases, fracture-dislocation of PIP in 30 cases, fracture-dislocation of MP in 23 cases. Duncan rating criteria were used to compare finger range of motion. Results The mean follow-up of 16.8 and 17.5 months in A group and B group. According to Duncan rating criteria, there were excellent in 33 cases, good in 16, fair in 3, and poor in 1 case. The excellent and good rate was 92.5% in A group. There were excellent in 30 cases, good in 17, fair in 5, and poor in 1 case. The excellent and good rate was 88.7% in B group. In A group, 1 case of wound infection was found. The average arc of motion of thumb joint was 134°±21° while the average arc of motion of other fingers was 248°±19°. In B group, no wound infection occurred. The average arc of motion of thumb joint was 122°±18° while the average arc of motion of other fingers was 225°±17°. Conclusion External fixation device with Kirschner wire or fragment fixation pin was better than the application of mini plate and screw fixation in treatment of metacarpal and phalangeal articular fracture-dislocation.

Objective To discuss the research status and hotspots related to breeding, planting, harvest, processing and storage of Lycium L. in China. Methods Relevant literature about breeding, planting, harvest, processing and storage of Lycium L. in CNKI from January 2004 to December 2013 was retrieved by computers. CiteSpaceⅡ was introduced to carry out key word analysis, high-frequency key word obtaining, co-occurrence network of high-frequency key words, and dendrogram of high-frequency words. Results Totally 759 articles were included. Key words about breeding were “genetic diversity”, “male sterile”, “its sequence”, “callus issue”, and“anther culture”. Key words about planting were“output”,“quality”,“hard twig cuttage”,“irrigation amount”. Key words about harvesting and processing were“picking machine of Lycium L.”,“drying kiln of Lycium L.”,“hot air drying”, and “combined drying”. Key words about storage were “pesticide residue”, “heavy metal”, and“organophosphorus pesticide”. Co-occurrence network of high-frequency key words showed that the research hotspots were pesticide residue, test of heavy metal and the storage of fresh fruits. Dendrogram of high-frequency key words showed that the high-frequency key words were “package”, “refreshment”, and “lycium barbarum polysaccharide”. Conclusion The research hotspots of planting of Lycium L. are planting skills effecting the output and quality of Lycium L.; In the field of harvesting and processing of Lycium L., design and research of picking machine has replaced traditional manual picking. Modern hot air drying has already replaced traditional drying in the sun or drying skills; In the aspect of storage of Lycium L., the study on the refreshment of Lycium L. has attached attention.

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 2005;0(07):-
Objective To investigate migration of dendritic cells(DC)in orthotopic rat liver transplantation models. Methods Allogeneic models(Wistar→SD,experimental group)and syngenic models(Wistar→Wistar, control group)of rat liver transplantation were established.Graft livers and host celiac lymph nodes(n=4)of each group were sampled respectively at day 3,5,and 7 after the transplantation. The acute rejection was graded according to liver histopathological changes. The dy- namic state of DC number within graft and lymph nodes was detected by means of immunohistochemi- cal staining and image analysis.T-cell active proliferative response in lymph nodes was also studied. Results The histological examination revealed that mild to severe rejection occurred on the post-opera- tive days 5 and 7.At day 3 after transplantation, the number of S-100~+ DC in allograft was signifi- cantly increased and reached the peak at day 5,then decreased gradually at day 7.A significant num- ber of S-100~+ cells was detected in the allogeneic host lymph nodes from day 3 after transplantation, and displayed a continuous increasing trend for next several days.Active proliferation of T cells in the lymph nodes was triggered as early as day 3 after transplantation. Conclusion Allogeneic liver trans- plantation induces the accelerated migration of DC within the allograft and host lymphoid nodes.DC delivers a strong and sustained stimulation among T cells in the lymphoid nodes where effector cells are predominantly sensitized and rejected the graft eventually.
