1.The expression and significance of HIF-1α,VEGF, VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 in missed abortion patients
Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2015;(2):227-230,231
Objective To study the expressions and clinical significance of hypoxia inducible factor-1α( HIF-1α) ,vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-1 (VEGFR-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 (VEGFR-2) in the villi tissue of patients with missed abortion (MA) and early pregnant women. To explore the influence of hypoxia on placenta angiogenesis in missed abortion. Methods To de-tect the expression of HIF-1α,VEGF,VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 in the villi tissue of 35 cases of MA patients( re-search group) and 32 early pregnant women( control group) who underwent induced abortion surgery by immuno-histochemistry,and the results were statistical analysis. Results HIF-1α,VEGF,VEGFR-1 and VEGFR-2 were ex-pressed both in the villi tissue of research group and the control group. The expression of HIF-1α was higher in the research group than in the control group(P<0. 05). The expressions of VEGF,VEGFR-2 were significantly lower in the research group than in the control group ( P<0 . 05 ); the expression of HIF-1α was positively correlated with VEGF,VEGFR-1and VEGFR-2 in the control group, and the expression of HIF-1α was negatively correlated with VEGF and VEGFR-2 in the research group (P<0. 05),which had no correlation with VEGFR-1. Conclusion The expression of HIF-1α in the villi tissue of MA is up-regulated, the blood vessel formation of placenta decreases by adjusting the VEGF and VEGFR-2 genes transcription, which maybe is the important causes for MA.

BACKGROUND:Percutaneous vertebroplasty, percutaneous kyphoplasty and expandable pedicle screw fixation can treat primary osteoporotic thoracolumbar fractures. The three methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the methods and clinical effects of primary osteoporotic thoracolumbar fractures. METHODS:Clinical data of 61 patients with primary osteoporotic thoracolumbar fractures were col ected and retrospectively analyzed. Perioperative preparation must be done. Al patients were treated by percutaneous vertebroplasty, percutaneous kyphoplasty and expansive pedicle screw fixation. We recorded Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) before treatment, 3 months after treatment, as wel as sagittal index (SI) and Cobb angle of vertebral fracture before treatment, 3 days and 3 months after treatment. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) Al cases were fol owed up for 12-18 months. (2) There was no significant difference in VAS scores, ODI, SI and Cobb angle of vertebral fracture among the three groups of patients preoperatively. (3) At 3 months after treatment, there were significant differences in VAS scores and ODI in the three groups as compared with that preoperation (P<0.05). However, no significant difference in VAS and ODI was determined among intergroup comparison (P>0.05). (4) SI and Cobb angle of vertebral fracture were significantly increased;the difference was statistical y significant (P<0.05). The efficacy was similar between the percutaneous kyphoplasty and expansive pedicle screw fixation groups (P>0.05), and was better than the percutaneous vertebroplasty group (P<0.05). (5) Three kinds of treatment can effectively restore the vertebral height and intensity, relieve pain and stabilize the spine, and no significant vertebral compression was found in the short term. However, restoration of postoperative vertebral height was better in percutaneous kyphoplasty and expansive pedicle screw fixation groups than in the percutaneous vertebroplasty group. In view of their respective indications, advantages and disadvantages, the key point of raising therapeutic effect was to choose appropriate surgical procedures.

Objective To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in human skin ulcer margin. Methods Ulcer biopsy samples were stained with anti VEGF and CD34 antibodies by immunohistochemistry .Results VEGF was not expressed in normal epidermis. The ulcer specimen was divided into normal, peripheral, marginal and central parts. Epidermis of normal part was not stained. VEGF was obviously expressed in peripheral upper epidermis of ulcer and lower epidermis of ulcer margin. Central part was not stained due to shedding of epidermis. And also CD34 staining demonstrated that dermal capillaries increased obviously and lumen dilated, which was marked in the periphery and the margin of ulcer. Conclusions VEGF is secreted in skin ulcerous epidermis and promotes angiogenesis and vascular dilataion which play a role in ulcer healing.

ObjectiveTo study the expression of adhesion mol ecules (CD 54 、CD 62p ) on diabetic neuropathy in the STZ induced rats and the effect of cilostazol treatment.MethodsSD rats were divided into four groups: normal control, diabetes control, insulin and cilostaz ol treated group. Sciatic nerve conductive velocity, the level of CD 54 /CD 62p on the surface of mononuclear cell/platelet were examined, and ultrast ructure of sciatic nerve was observed.ResultsCilostazol incr eased sciatic nerve conductive velocity significantly [DM=(20.3?2.2) m/s vs ci lostazol=(28.9?7.9)m/s,(P
10.Progress and prospect in the clinical translation of cancer nanomedicine
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2022;57(1):134-141
Nanotechnology has shown broad application prospects in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Currently, nearly 80 cancer nanomedicines are under clinical investigation, and many have been approved with enhanced anti-tumor efficacy and decreased side effects. However, the presence of various barriers in related basic research, process control and clinical trials lead to extremely low translation rate. From the perspective of clinical commercialization, we summarized the progress, clinical status, challenges and opportunities of cancer nanomedicine, and presented a cutting-edge prospect on the rational design of nanomedicine and clinical trial strategies.
