Objective The invasion and metastasis of tumor cells depend on the growth of new blood vessels, and tumor neovascularization was regulated by a lots of factors. This study aimed to investigate the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF -1α) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VECF) in retinoblastoma and explore the correlation of HIF-1α and VEGF with tumor invasion and metastasis and analyze their relationship with clinicopathology characters and determine their effect on angiogenesis. Methods Forty-six retinoblastoma specimens with different clinical stages were collected in Affiliated Second Hospital of Nanchang University. The specimens received neither radiotherapy nor chemotherapy. The retinal tissue near the tumor was as control. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of HIF-1α protein and VEGF protein in retinoblastoma. The relationship between expression of HIF-1α and VEGF and stage of tumor was analyzed. Results The HIF-1α and VEGF were highly expressed in the ischemia or necrosis area of retinoblastoma. Expression of HIF-1α was mainly in cell nuclear and partly in cytoplasm, and VEGF was mainly expressed in cytoplasm of tumor cells. The expression of HIF-1α and VEGF was gradually increased with the rising of tumor stage (P < 0. 05) and showed significant correlation between expression of HIF-1α and VEGF with tumor stage(r_s =0. 943, P <0. 01). HIF-1α exepression was also possitively related to VEGF level in retinoblastoma (r, =0. 946, P < 0. 01). Conclusion HIF-1α and VEGF were over-expressed in retinoblastoma cells, and the expressions were related to clinical staging, invasion and metastasis of tumor cells. The expression of HIF-1α and VEGF was one of the predictors for the biological behaviors of retinoblastoma. HIF-1α and VEGF may play an important role in angiogenesis and tumor progression in retinoblastoma.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the therapeutic effect of scalp expanded flap combined with JPL hair removal for large area scar on forehead.
METHODSFrom Jul. 2010 to Nov. 2012, 9 cases with large area scar on forehead received treatment of adjacent scalp expanded flap combined with JPL hair removal. One the first stage, the expander was implanted under the scalp near the forehead scar, followed hy expansion process. When the expansion was completed, the expanded flap was transferred to cover the wound after scar excision. 10 days after flap transposition, the forehead hair line was designed and extra hair on flap underwent JPL hair removal. After 3-5 treatments, the hair on flap was almost removed.
RESULTSAll the scalp flaps survived completely. JPL hair removal had exact effect. The patients were followed up for 5-11 months. The hair density on the flap decreased hy more than 90%. The flap had a good match with surrounding facial skin in color, texture and thickness. The reconstructed forehead hair line was satisfactory.
CONCLUSIONSIt is a good option to reconstruct large area scar on forehead with scalp expanded flap comhined with IPL hair removal.

A series of 2-methoxyestradiol (2-MeO-E2) RGD peptide conjugates with coupling RGD peptides to 3- position or 17-position of 2-MeO-E2 through space linker were synthesized. Their antiangiogenic properties were preliminarily evaluated by cell migration scratch assays against HUVECs. Compound 26c binding RGDV peptide showed the best inhibitory effect. In addition, all 2-MeO-E2 RGD peptide conjugates exhibited obvious activity. These results demonstrate that conjugates with RGD peptides represent a promising means for targeting angiogenesis in cancer therapy.

In this paper, three spoilage organisms were separated from five transmutative soy milks, and all the three spoilage bacteria could survive condition of both 1?105Pa,30min and 300mg/kg Nisin. Morpha character, physiological and biochemical characteristics, and a phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rDNA gene sequences reveal that these three strains are Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus pumilus and Brevibacillus borstelensis respectively. GenBank accessions for these three strains are EF439666-EF439668。

Objective To evaluate the effect of three diamension-digital subtraction angiography (3D-DSA) or computed tomography angiography (CTA) on the patients with ruptured multiple intmcranial aneurysm (MIA). Methods A retrospective study on 21 patients with MIA was performed. After scanning with 3D-DSA or 3D-CTA, three-dimensional reconstruction of MIA was carried out by 3D workstation, then the diagnosis was decided and the treatment plan (endovascular treatment or microsurgery) was selected according to stereoscopic image of MIA. Results (1) 3D-DSA or CTA was performed in 21 patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH),it was revealed these patients carried with 48 aneurysms, including 35 small aneurysms (25 mm).Not only miero-aneurysms and small aneurysms could be precisely showed, also the size of aneurysmal neck, the relationship of the aneurysm and the parent vessel and contiguous branches by stereoscopic image.(2) According to the standard of classification,9 patients with MIA for gradeⅠ(42.9%),10 for gradeⅡ(47.6%),2 for gradeⅢ(9.5%),0 for gradeⅣ.Endovascular treatment was selected prior to microsargery for those high grade patients. In this group,17 patients with 40 aneurysms underwent endovascular embolotherapy with GDC coils.Twenty four anemysms were completely occlusioned,12 beyond 90%,4 were left without treatment because of their small size.In microsurgery group,3 aneurysrus were totally clipped,1 could not be found during operation. No any treatment was accepted in 2 patients with 4 aneurysms. Conclusions 3D-DSA or CTA,which is very useful for the diagnosis and treatment of MIA,could improve the accuracy of diagnosis of MIA and clearly show the stereoscopic image of MIA,also the relation of sac and parent artery. For those patients with high grade MIA,endovascular treatment was selected prior to microsurgery, pro re nata, used to combine with mierosurgery.

Objective To investigate the processing characteristics of locative prepositions in patients with Chinese aphasia, and to provide the theoretical evidence for the rehabilitation of aphasia. Methods Twenty aphasic patients caused by left-hemisphere stroke and twenty matched normal controls were studied.Using the locative prepo- sition repeating task(single words, locative preposition phrases and words in sentences),the comprehension task, filling-gap task, the visual-spatial function task and the short-term memory task,we compared the performance be- tween these two groups. Results The aphasic patients had more difficulty in repeating locative prepositions in sen- tences,in comprehension task and filling-gap task, their short term memory was impaired. Both groups did well in re- peating single words and phrases. Conclusion The processing of locative prepositions was impaired in Chinese aphasics. The repetition of locative prepositions was more difficult than that of phrases and single words. The preposi- tions were often omitted. It might be due to the impairment of their short-term memory,or it might have something to do with role they played in the syntactic structure. The latter might also impact the comprehension and filling-gap score. We should make plans before rehabilitation therapy.

Objective:
To learn HIV related stigma and its associated factors among the patients on antiretroviral therapy ( ART ) in Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, so as to provide evidence for eliminating HIV discrimination.
Methods:
A total of 419 subjects were recruited by convenience sampling from three ART clinics in Wenshan City and Maguan County between October 2017 and January 2018. HIV/AIDS Related Stigma and Discrimination Scale developed by Li Xianhong et al was employed. The multivariate linear regression model were used to explore the influencing factors for HIV stigma.
Results:
The median scores of disclosure concern, public rejection, family stigma, internalized stigma, health service providers' stigma were 24.00, 6.00, 10.00, 20.00, 2.00, respectively, and the overall was 68.00. The multivariate linear regression analysis showed that female patients ( standardized β=0.135 ) , patients with opportunistic infection ( standardized β=0.120 ), patients had no HIV infected family member ( standardized β=-0.128 ) , patients without family support ( standardized β=-0.175 ) , patients received gift from ART clinics ( standardized β=0.124 ) , patients scored lower in ART knowledge ( standardized β=-0.117 ) were likely to scored higher in HIV stigma.
Conclusions
The stigma on disclosure concern and internalized stigma dimensions are grievous among ART patients in Wenshan Prefecture. Gender, opportunistic infection, HIV infection in family, family support, receiving incentive gifts from clinics and awareness of ART are associated with HIV stigma.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(7):1003-1007
Objective:
To investigate the impact of COVID-19 infection and health related behaviors on the health related quality of life of children and adolescents aged 8-15 years in Nanjing, so as to provide a theoretical basis for improving HRQoL in children and adolescents.
Methods:
From December 2022 to January 2023, a total of 2 398 students aged 8-15 years from the third grade of primary school to junior middle school in Nanjing were selected by multistage random cluster sampling. The 3 level EuroQol 5 dimension Questionnaire Youth Vension (EQ-5D-Y-3L) was completed by the respondents on their own, and the parents assisted in completing the rest of the questionnaire.
Results:
The EuroQol-index(EQ-index) and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores of being infected individuals were lower than those of uninfected and previously infected ( P <0.05). The proportion of being infected individuals reporting difficulty on "Pain/Discomfort" was higher than that of uninfected and previously infected individuals, and the proportion of reporting difficulty on "Mobility" was also higher than that of uninfected individuals ( P <0.05). Lack of parental companionship( OR=10.19, 95%CI =3.12-33.22), irregular breakfast consumption ( OR=10.63, 95%CI =3.20-35.25), and excessive screen time ( OR=8.24, 95%CI =3.02-22.51) increased the risk of difficulty on "Mobility" in being infected individuals ( P <0.05). Irregular breakfast consumption ( OR=1.93, 95%CI =1.31-2.84) and consumption of sweetened beverages and snacks (OR=1.56, 95%CI =1.17-2.10) increased the risk of having lower EQ index in previously infected individuals compared to uninfected individuals. Furthermore, consumption of sweetened beverages and snacks ( OR=1.57, 95%CI =1.21-2.05) and excessive screen time ( OR=1.49, 95%CI =1.12-1.98) also increased the risk of VAS scores being lower in previously infected individuals compared to uninfected individuals ( P <0.05).
Conclusion
The COVID-19 infection impairs HRQoL, and unhealthy behaviors deteriorate its negative impact. Healthy behaviors and lifestyles should be advocated to reduce the impact of COVID-19 infection on HRQoL.
