Objective:To establish the quality standard for Chidan Ganxian granules. Methods:TLC was used to identify Paeoni-ae Radix Rubra, Rhizoma Polygoni Cuspidati, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Herba Saururi and Radix et Rhizoma Rhei in Chidan Ganx-ian granules, and the content of paeoniflorin was determined by HPLC. The stationary phase was an Apollo C18 column ( 150 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5 μm), the mobile phase was acetonitrile-water(12. 5∶87. 5), the flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1, the detection wavelength was at 230 nm, and the temperature was 30℃. Results:The characteristic spots of the granules were the same as those of the standard samples without any interference from the negative control. Paeoniflorin had a good linear relationship within the range of 0. 120-1. 436 μg(r=0. 999 4), and the average recovery was 99. 8% with RSD of 1. 80%(n=6). Conclusion:The method is simple, ac-curate, reliable and reproducible, which can be used in the quality control of Chidan Ganxian granules.

Objective To observe the characteristics of vertical cast-off bloodstain pattern by different hitting-tools. Methods The regular hitting tools, a kitchen knife, a dirk, a plane set-hammer and an iron pipe, were selected. At a distance of 30 cmaway fromthe wall, the hitting tool with 5 mL fresh chick-en blood made the cast-off bloodstain fromtop to bottom. Then the holistic distribution characteristics ( length , width and density ) of cast-off bloodstain and morphology characteristics ( length , width and contact angle) of first single cast-off bloodstain were analyzed. Results The distribution length of cast-off bloodstain formed by dirk was minimum( P<0 .05 ) . The distribution width of cast-off bloodstain formed by kitchen knife was minimum(P<0.05). Except the pair of kitchen knife and plane set-hammer, the distribution density between each two tools had statistical differences (P<0.05). The length of first single cast-off bloodstain formed by plane set-hammer was longest compared (P<0.05). The width of first single cast-off bloodstain had statistical differences between kitchen knife and plane set-hammer, and between dirk and plane set-hammer (P<0.05). Conclusion The type of hitting tool could be inferred by the specific characteristics of cast-off bloodstain pattern formed by every specific type of hitting tool in crime scene.

Aim To establish and evaluate Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats model with yang-deficiency and constipation at the direction of traditional Chinese medicine theories. Methods Rats model with yang-deficiency and constipation were induced by orally administration of white vinegar and active carbon-ice water. Changes of model rats in common biological characteristic, the number and time of excretion stool, colonic electromyography, gastrointestinal hormones and intestinal neurotransmitters were observed. Results Compared to the control group: changes of the model group in common biological characteristic including abdominal distension, puffed and withered hair, sluggish response, falling body weight, black and dry stool; Excretion time of the first granule stool became longer; Number of excretion stool within six hours became shorter; Intestine pushing rate decreased, and secretion of gastrointestinal hormones and intestinal neurotransmitters disordered, etc. After being treated with Tongbianling, the syndrome and indexes of model rats markedly improved. After 6 days′ resume, the model group in the experiment of excreting stool had markedly signification in comparison with the control group. Conclusion SD rats model with yang-deficiency and constipation could be stably established by administering white vinegar and active carbon-ice water.

Objective To explore the effect of vaproate sodium (VP) on Bcl-2 and Bax expression of hippocampus in seizures rats induced by pentylenetetrazole(PTZ).Methods Twenty-four adult Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control (NC) group, PTZ group and VAP group. A dose of PTZ [35 mg/(kg?day)] was intraperitoneally injected into the rats of PTZ group and VAP group until the kindling criterion was reached. After kindling, the rats of VAP group were administered intraperitoneally with VAP[15 mg/(kg?day)];the rats of PTZ group were administered intraperitoneally with normal saline. After 30 minutes, seizures were induced by administering PTZ intraperitoneally. OBJECTIVE To evaluate the application of antibiotics and its trend for reference to clinical utilization.METHODS The data about antibiotics used from 2005 to 2007 were collected and analyzed.RESULTS The consumption of antibiotics was fallen year by year.The rate of utilization was 67%.The rate of drug combination was 45% and the rate of antibiotic resistance test was 20%.CONCLUSIONS There are still a lot of problems in antibiotics usage of our hospital.It is necessary to strengthen the guidance and supervision.
