Objective:To observe the clinical treatment effect of Ginkgo mihuan oral liquid combined with tinnitus-curing instrument on the patients with sudden deafness associated with tinnitus.Methods: One hundred and twenty patients with sudden deafness associated with tinnitus were randomly divided into treatment group and control group one and control group two. Treatment group were treated with Ginkgo mihuan oral liquid combined with Tinnitus-curing instrument. The patients in control group were given Ginkgo mihuan oral liquid, the other control group used tinnitus-curing instrument. Observe the tinnitus and hearing improved progress.Results: In treatment group, the effective rate of tinnitus improvement was higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(x2=7.040,x2=5.952;P<0.05), but the effective rate of hearing improvement was not higher than that in control group, the differences was not statistically significant(x2=0.621,x2=2.813;P<0.05).Conclusion: Ginkgo mihuan oral liquid combined with Tinnitus-curing instrument has certain curative effect on tinnitus recovery of patients with sudden hearing loss.

Objective To observe the difference of sCD40L level in different subtypes of coronary heart disease,and to explore the clinical value of CD40 ligand in identification for the acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods The patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)and the heathy controls in the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University from Jan,2006 to June,2006 were enrolled in the study.CHD group included ACS and stable angina patients.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to measure the serum sCD40L level in three groups;t-test and receiver operateing characteristic curve were used to analyze the results.Results sCD40L level was significantly higher in patients with ACS[(2.39?0.37)?g/L]than stable angina patients[(1.89?0.16)?g/L,P0.05.The ROC curve demonstrated that using the concentration of sCD40L 2.01 ?g/L as the boundary to diagnose ACS,sensitivity of this marker was 0.91 and specificity was 0.80 respectively,and area under the curve(AUC)was 0.907.Conclusion sCD40L level which is more than 2.01 ?g/L has important significance for the diagnosis of ACS.

In recent years, with the rapid development of antitumor targeted drug therapy, the preparation of antitumor liposomes and its targeting research have attracted attention of scholars. Anti-tumor targeted drug treatment requires the drug to reach the tumor site has a relatively high concentration and longer retention time, the tumor cells have a strong cytotoxic activity, while normal cells no significant side effects.The drug has an in vivo distribution and specificity for the target fine action.The preparation methods of liposomes include film dispersion method,reverse evaporation method,ethanol injection method,supercritical reverse phase evaporation method and freeze-drying method. Antitumor targeting liposomes can be divided into active targeting liposomes and passive targeting liposomes. Targeted liposomes can specifically target tumor cells by recognizing specific targets in the tumor tissue,thus enriching tumor cells and killing tumor cells. In this paper,the preparation of anti-tumor liposomes and the progress of its targeting,for future study and application of liposomes provide a reference.

Objective To analyze the clinical effect of probucol in prevention of contrast induced nephropathy(CIN) after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods 96 patients with coronary heart disease requiring PCI surgery in our hospital were selected as the research subjects, and they were randomly divided into control group(48 cases) and observation group(48 cases).Both two groups were given traditional treatment, besides this, the observation group was given additional probucol (3 d treatment before and after operation,0.5 g/time,2 times/d).The renal function indicators such as serum creatinine (Scr), cystatin C(CysC), blood urea nitrogen(Bun), estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR), and the expression levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6) and malondialdehyde(MAD) in the two groups 24 h,48 h, 72 h before and after PCI were observed and compared.And the adverse reactions during operation in the two groups were also recorded and compared.Results There were no significant differences in Scr,CysC,Bun and eGFR between the two groups before opertion(t=0.149,P=0.882;t=1.75,P=0.243;t=0.019,P=0.985).12 h after operation, the Scr,CysC,Bun and eGFR levels in the two groups were gradually increased,48 h post-treatment, the levels reached to the peak and showed a downward trend 72 h after operation;compared with the control group, the rise and decline in the observation group were more greater, and the differences were statistically significant (t=3.242,P=0.002;t=9.532,P<0.001;t=9.073,P<0.001;t=2.896,P<0.001).There were no significant differences in CRP,IL-6 and MAD between the two groups before operation (t=0.321,P=0.749;t=0.014,P=0.989;t=0.188,P=0.850).24 h after operation, the CRP,IL-6 and MAD levels in the two groups were gradually increased,48 h post treatment, the levels reached to the peak and showed a downward trend 72 h after operation;compared with the control group, the rise and decline in the observation group were more greater, and the differences were statistically significant (t=8.495,P=0.002;t=7.532,P<0.00;t=16.216,P<0.001).There were no obvious adverse reactions during operation in the two groups.Conclusion Probucol not only has lipid-regulating and atherosclerotic effects on patients with coronary heart disease, but also has certain preventive and clinical effects to CIN after PCI.Thus, it can be considered as a preferred drug for clinical prevention and treatment of CIN.

Phosphatidylserine (PS) is a phospholipid that is abundant in eukaryotic plasma membranes,has crucial biological functions.Under cell apoptosis, cells can not generate enough ATP for energy and the concentration of cytoplasmic Ca 2 +increases, resulting in PS eversion.Apoptosis and the clearance of apoptotic cells are essential processes in animal development and homeostasis.For apoptotic cells to be cleared, they must display aneat me signal, most likely PS exposure, which prompts phagocytes to engulf the cells.PS is exposed by the action of scramblase on the cell's surface in biological processes such as apoptosis and platelet activation.Once exposed to the cell surface, PS acts as an eat me signal on dead cells, and creates a scaffold for blood-clotting factors on activated platelets.The molecular identities of the flippase and scramblase that work at plasma membranes have long eluded researchers.Indeed, their identity as well as the mechanism of the PS exposure to the cell surface has only recently been revealed.We describe how PS is exposed in activated platelets and in apoptotic cells, and discuss the clearance of apoptotic cells.

BacKground:Helicobacter pylori ( Hp ) infection is an important etioIogicaI factor of gastric uIcer. AIthough eradicating Hp can heIp gastric uIcer heaIing,there is stiII a high recurrence rate of gastric uIcer. Therefore,other factors pIaying a roIe in the pathogenesis of gastric uIcer shouId be in concern. Aims:To investigate the non-reinfectious recurrence factors of gastric uIcer after Hp eradication. Methods:A totaI of 164 newIy diagnosed gastric uIcer patients with Hp infection from January 2011 to June 2012 at Ren Ji HospitaI,SchooI of Medicine,Shanghai Jiao Tong University were enroIIed. AII patients were given Hp eradication therapy and treatment of gastric uIcer. Patients with successfuI Hp eradication and heaIing of gastric uIcer were foIIowed up at 3,6,12 months after uIcer heaIing. Suspected risk factors of gastric uIcer recurrence were coIIected,and their reIationships with recurrence were anaIyzed. Results:A totaI of 123 patients positive for Hp infection compIeted the 12 months foIIow-up,gastric uIcer recurred in 18(14. 6%)of them. Chi-square test reveaIed that age,gender,smoking/drinking,non-steroidaI anti-infIammatory drugs( NSAIDs ),negative emotions and unheaIthy eating habits were significantIy associated with the recurrence of gastric uIcer(P<0. 05). Of the unheaIthy eating habits, irreguIar eating, and preference of indigestibIe food and fast food/carbonated drinks were significantIy associated with recurrence of gastric uIcer( P <0. 05 ). Conclusions:Patients with gastric uIcer shouId change their unheaIthy Iiving habits,foIIow rationaI use of drugs,and keep heaIthy mentaI status and eating habits for avoiding the recurrence of gastric uIcer.

Objective To develop a mouse model of cutaneous protothecosis.Methods Totally,48 BALB/c mice were randomly and equally divided into four groups:high-and low-concentration immunosuppressive groups-immunosuppressed mice inoculated with P.zopfii var.portoricensis suspension of 1 × 109 and 1 × 106 colony forming units (CFU) conidia/ml respectively,high-concentration healthy group-healthy mice inoculated with P.zopfii var.portoricensis suspension of 1 × 109 CFU conidia/ml,and control group-healthy mice inoculatedwith sodium chloride physiological solution.The P.zopfii suspension or sodium chloride physiological solution was subcutaneously inoculated to the abdominal skin of mice,with the inoculation volume being 200 μl.Skin appearance at the inoculation site was observed,and four mice were sacrificed in each group on day 7,14 and 28 after the inoculation.Skin specimens were resected from the inoculation sites of mice and subjected to pathological and mycological examinations.Results Mice in the three experiment groups inoculated with the P.zopfi suspension were all infected,with the appearance of papules and abscess at the inoculation sites of all mice as well as ulcer and crusts in some mice.Meanwhile,no mice were infected in the control group.Significant differences were noted in the diameter of skin lesions between the three time points in these experiment groups (all P ＜ 0.05),and the largest diameter of lesions was observed on day 7,which was (6.75 ± 1.09) mm in the high-concentration immunosuppressive group,(5.88 ± 1.17) mm in the low-concentration immunosuppressive group,and (5.96 ± 0.99) mm in the high-concentration healthy group.Comparisons of lesion diameter between the three experiment groups revealed a statistical difference on day 28 (F =8.91,P ＜ 0.05),with the largest lesion diameter observed in the high-concentration immunosuppressive group (4.38 ± 0.86 mm),but no statistical difference was found on day 7 or 14 (both P ＞ 0.05).Pathology of skin specimens consistently revealed necrosis,abscess and granuloma formation in the three experiment groups.Spores were found in the lesions of infected mice by haematoxylin-eosin staining,periodic acid-Schiff staining,and direct microscopy.Culture of tissue samples from the experiment groups grew Prototheca.Conclusion The mouse model of protothecosis can be established by subcutaneous inoculation of Prototheca suspension in the abdominal skin of healthy or immunosuppressed mice.

Objective To investigate the tissue structure of the human scalp hair follicles,the ability of hair follicle regeneration in vitro and the influence elements of growth and proliferation of follicle organ.Methods The paraffin sections of the 15 cases of human scalps and 150 cases of scalp hair follicle tissues were prepared,and morphological characteristics and organizational structures was observed by HE staining.The experience and growth pattern of the hair follicle that was cultured in Williams E medium in vitro were summarized.Results Human scalp contained a large number of hair follicles and sebaceous glands,sweat glands,and other skin accessories.Epithelial cells were rich in hair follicles and poorly differentiated in structure,and grew in the regular direction in scalp tissue.The Williams E was used to culture successfully human scalp hair follicles.Hair follicles grew with the fastest speed in the first 5 days.Compared with other media,the use of serum-free Williams E medium in the hair follicle in vitro experiments achieved better results.Conclusions Human scalp contained a large number of hair follicles and sebaceous glands,sweat glands,and other skin accessories.Williams E medium without serum medium was more conducive than other medium for hair follicle culture in vitro,so that regeneration of hair follicles in vitro with a better capacity created favorable conditions for the delay in hair transplant surgery.

Objective: To study the effect of community intervention on mental health of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) Method:Two communities in a city of Shandong province were chosen as intervention community and control community respectively after an epidemiological investigation of diabetes mellitus in 1997 After four years intervention, a case-control study was done by assessing mental status with SAS (self-rating anxiety scale), SDS (self-rating depression scale) and SSRS (social support rating scale) Result:Compared with baseline levels, after intervention for 4 years, the SAS score, SDS score and SSRS score (including subject score and object score) of patients in intervention community improved significantly, while the counterparts of patients in control community had no improvement But patients in intervention community still had poorer results than health controls By adjustment of the potential confounding effect of age, sex and occupations, diabetes mellitus still had influence on anxiety, depression and social support with ORs of 1 41, 1 69 and 0 69 respectively Multivariable stepwise analysis showed that, suffering from other chronic diseases was risk factor for mental health of diabetes patients, and the higher the education level, the better results of intervention Conclusion:The DM community intervention program improves mental health of patients significantly, but patients still have poorer mental health than healthy control Education level and suffering from other chronic disease are main factors having influence on effects of the intervention
