1.Application of student standardized patient in clinical case teaching of orthopedic surgery

ObjectiveTo understand the effect of student standardized patient-case teaching in orthopedic surgery.Methods A total of 120 clinical medicine students were selected,and they were randomly assigned to be research group ( n=60 ) and control group ( n=60 ),as students standardized patient,10 clinical medicine students and postgraduate students of orthopedic surgery were selected,and standardized patient-case teaching was applied to the students in research group while traditional case teaching was applied to students in control group.After teaching,the teaching effect and survey the feedback information about teaching form students were evaluated.ResultsTotal mark of effect evaluation of 2 groups is 83.50 + 6.55 and 71.11 ± 6.57,and both operational score and knowledge study achievements of research group were better than control group (P<0.01),over 80% research group students effect evaluation being positive.ConclusionStudent standardized patient-case teaching is helpful to improving students' study in orthopedic surgery and the teaching effect is remarkable.
2.Factor Analysis of the Rating Scale of Pi Shen Qi Xv in Nephrology

Objective To study the factor structure in rating scale of deficiency of spleen and kidney of nephrology and estimate it.Methods Factor analyse in deficiency of spleen and kidney rating scale in nephrology was made using SPSS13.0.Results The scale was composed of four factors : Pi Xv; Shen Xv; Qi Xv and other general things.Validity analyse indicated that the result was credible. Conclusion The rating scale of Pi Shen Qi Xv in nephrology has good construct validity and it can be extensively used in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
3.MOLYBDENUM AND SPONTANEOUS CONTRACTION OF CARDIAC CELLS IN VITRO

Cardiac cell was cultured in low (5%) and normal (20%) bovine serum medium with or without molybdenum (Mo) supplementation (0.7ppm). Spontaneous contraction of the cultured cells was examined periodically. It was observed that the spontaneous contraction of the cardiac cells cultured in the low serum medium was better than that in the same medium without Mo and the frequency of the contraction was almost near the one cultured in normal serum medium. Some strengthen effect of Mo on the contraction was also seen in cardiac cell cultured in the normal serum medium with Mo.It suggested that Mo was necessitated in the contraction of cardiac cell and might be involved with the pathogenesis of certain cardiac diseases and Keshan disease and with their prophylaxis and treatment as well.
4.Research on increasing X-ray protection capability based on photonic crystal technology.

Light cannot be propagated within the range of photonic crystal band gaps. Based on this unique property, we proposed a method to improve anti-radiation capability through one-dimensional photonic crystal coating. Using transmission matrix method, we determined the appropriate dielectric materials, thickness and periodic numbers of photonic crystals through Matlab programming simulation. Then, compound one-dimensional photonic crystal coating was designed which was of high anti-radiation rate within the range of X-ray. As is shown through simulation experiments, the reflection rate against X-ray was higher than 90 percent, and the desired anti-radiation effect was achieved. Thus, this method is able to help solve the technical problems facing the inorganic lead glass such as thickness, weightiness, costliness, high lead equivalent, low transparency and high cost. This method has won China's national invention patent approval, and the patent number is 201220228549.2.

5.The relationship between copy number and microsatellite instability of mitochondrial DNA in colorectal cancer

Objective To study the relationship between the abnormality of mitochondrinl DNA (mtDNA) copy number and the clinical parameters and microsatellite instability (MSI) in colorectal cancer. Methods Total DNA was extracted from cancer and pericancer tissue from 50 colorectal cancer (CRC) biopsy samples. Non-ceding region sequencing was done and the copy number of mtDNA was quantitated with real-time PCR in mitochondrial NDI gene. The relationship between clinical indicators, mtMSI and mitochondrial copy number was detected. Results The mean copy number of mtDNA 312±185 in the tumor tissue was significantly lower than that 525±125 of the corresponding non-tumor tissue of these patients (P<0.001). No significant correlation was found between mtDNA copy number and other variables including age, gender, pathological type and clinical stage (P > 0. 05). However, there was a significant correlation between copy number and mtMSI (P<0.001). Conclusion There is a significant reduction of mtDNA in CRC patients, which may be caused by mtMSL
6.Advancement in surgical treatment of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma

Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) has the significant characteristics of regional spread and lymphatic metastasis. Radical resection provides the only chance for long-term survival of patients with ICC. Anatomic or extended hepatectomy is the most optimal treatment. The value of hepatic resection with lymph node dissection and the area of lymph node dissection are controversial. Palliative resection improves prognosis of some patients. Secondary hepatectomy also benefits some patients with late (>1 year) intrahepatic recurrence. Liver transplantation is only performed for highly selected prophase-patients or prudent clinical trials, and a combination with adjuvant treatment such as chemo-radiotherapy after operation is suggested.
7.Imaging findings and cognitive impairment in patients with leukoaraiosis

Leukoaraiosis (LA) is a group of clinical syndrome caused by multiple etiologies.It belongs to one of the types of cerebral small vessel diseases.Studies have shown that LA usually can lead to different degrees of cognitive impairment.In recent years,with the development of imaging techniques,the studies about correlation between maging findings and cognitive impairment in LA patients and cognitive impairment are increasing gradually and have drawn some new conclusions.And thus,the understanding of the clinical significance of LA has been further deepened.This article mainly reviews the advances in research on the correlation between imaging findings and cognitive impairment in LA patients.
8.Effect of Danzhi Jiangtang Capsule on the Level of Blood Fat in Model Rats of Type 2 Diabetes Insuling Resistance

Objective To investigate the effect of Danzhijiangtang capsule on serum,fat in type 2 diabetic rats.Methods The model of type 2 diabetes mellitus rats were established by injecting small does streptozotocin(STZ)into abdomen and feeding high sucrose-fat diet.All the rats were divided randomly into five groups.The level of blood glucose,serum insulin,insulin sensitivity index,blood fat(triglyceride, cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein),free fatty acid after treated were examined. Results Danzhijiangtang capsule could decrease the level of blood fat.Conclusion Danzhijiangtang capsule could improve the blood fat in type 2 diabetic rats.
