Objective To study the clinical significance of CD4 + CD25+ Foxp3 + regulatory T cell (Treg) and interleukin 10 (IL-10),transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β 1) in patients with steroidresistant asthma (SRA).Methods Seventy-nine patients with asthma were divided into SRA group (31cases) and steroid-sensitive (SSA) group (48 cases).Forty-five healthy subjects were selected simultaneously as control group.CD4+ CD25+ Foxp3 +Treg level was detected by flow cytometry and serum IL-10 and TGF-β1 levels were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results The percentage of CD4 + CD25 +Foxp3 +Treg in CD4+ T cell and its absolute value in SRA group and SSA group were 0.0225 ± 0.0063,(1.09 ± 0.23) × 107/L and 0.0345 ± 0.0094,(1.35 ± 0.14) × 107/L,they were significandy lower than those in control group [0.0537 ± 0.0128,(2.06 ± 0.27) × 107/L],and SRA group was significandy lower than SSA group, there were statistical differences (P < 0.05).The levels of serum TGF-β1 in SRA group and SSA group were significantly lower than those in control group [(138.12 ± 23.26),(176.25 ± 40.37) ng/L vs.(281.22 ±47.15) ng/L],there was statistical difference (P <0.05).The levels of serum IL-10 in SRA group was significantly lower than that in control group [(516.43 ± 86.33)ng/L vs.(763.02 ± 90.19) ng/L],there was statistical difference (P < 0.05).There was no statistical difference in the level of serum IL-10 between SSA group and control group (P > 0.05).The levels of serum IL-10 and TGF-β 1 in SRA group were significantly lower than those in SSA group, there were statistical differences (P < 0.05).The levels of serum IL-10 and TGF-β1 had positive correlation with CD4 + CD25 + Foxp3 +Treg in SRA group and SSA group (P < 0.01).Conclusion The interaction among CD4+ CD25+ Foxp3 +Treg,IL-10 and TGF-β1 may play an important role in the SRA occurrence and development, while by increasing peripheral blood CD4 + CD25 + Foxp3 +Treg number and stabilizing its function can increase IL-10 and TGF-β1 expression, which may be an important way to treat SRA.
4.Antioxidant Effect of Selaginella Medicinal Plants and Its Quality Review
Herald of Medicine 2017;36(9):1010-1015
This paper aimed to introduce and review the antioxidant and material base of selaginella medicinal plants. On the basis of the systematic identification of selaginella medicinal plants,we found that the ethyl acetate extract and flavonoids could inhibit the activity of XOD,LOX or/and COX-2 to some extent.Fourteen biflavonoids, one flavonoid and five flavonoid glycosides have been isolated from three resource plants, among them five compounds were firstly reported and fifteen compounds were firstly isolated in selaginella plants.Amentoflavone (AME),robustaflavone and robustaflavone-4''-dimethylether are three common characteristic constituents of selaginella plants, which can act as marks of common active ingredients and be applied to evaluate the quality of selaginella.Further studies found that some plants had stronger anti-Coxsackie virus and anti-tumor effects, and their mechanisms were associated with inhibiting multiple oxidase and mitigating harm of free radicals due to whole function.

Although it has been frequently used to treat thoraxic tumors, radiation induced lung injury (RILI) is the major factor of dose limitation in thoracic radiotherapy.Amount of endogenous and exogenous reactive oxygen / nitrogen species (ROS/RNOS) could be generated in the radiated organisms and further cause molecular damage of DNA,protein and membrane lipids, which results in celluar structure damage, dysfunction and RILI.In addition,a series of cytokines could also induce chronic oxidative stresses that contribute to increases in cell membrane permeability, tissue edema and extracellular matrix proteins accumulation and even further result in pulmonary fibrosis.Oxidative stress theory offers new clues and strategies for further understanding the mechanism of RILI,and some anti-oxidative stress drugs may have potential clincial application in RILI treatment.

Journal of Integrative Medicine 2014;12(5):401-8
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is commonly used in treating liver diseases worldwide, especially in China. The advantages of using TCM for treatment of liver diseases include: protecting hepatocytes, inhibiting hepatic inflammation and antifibrosis in the liver. In this article, we introduce TCM herbal preparations from the Chinese materia medica (such as Fuzheng Huayu) that are typically used for the treatment of liver diseases. Literature surrounding the mechanisms of TCM therapy for treatment of liver diseases is presented and discussed. We propose that side effects of herbal compounds are often under-appreciated, and that more care should be taken in the prescription of potentially hepatotoxic medicines. Further, to deepen the understanding of TCM mechanisms, new techniques and methodologies must be developed. Future studies will lead to the enhancement of clinical outcomes of TCM. As complementary and alternative therapies, TCMs will play an expanding role in the future of liver disease treatment.

Objective To study the influence of age on ?-adrenergic responsive cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) level of human bladder detrusor and its modulation mechanism. Methods The cAMP levels in detrusor muscle of aging group (15 cases) and young group (7 cases) were determined by radioimmunoassay at the presence of isoprenaline (ISO), BRL 37344 and forskolin, in addition, the modulation of cAMP content of aging group by pertussis toxin(PTX), cholera toxin(CTX), vinpocetine(VPT) and KT-5720 were also studied. Results After incubation with ISO, BRL 37344 and forskolin, the cAMP level of aging group was (15.0?1.6),(12.2?1.8)pmol/mg and (4.5?4.0) pmol/mg protein. The cAMP level of aging group was not influenced significantly by CTX; the ?-adrenergic responsive cAMP level was enhanced significantly by PTX and KT-5720, but the increment of cAMP content induced by forskolin was not changed; VPT significantly increased the cAMP levels induced by all the three agents. Conclusions There is age-related decline in the ?-adrenergic responsive cAMP level of detrusor muscle of the aging; reduced activity of adenylyl cyclase and enhanced activity of inhibitory G protein Gi may be the biochemical basis; inhibitors of calcium/calmodulin stimulated phosphodiesterase and protein kinase A improves the ?-adrenergic responsiveness of the senile, therefore might be used to treat the urinary storage dysfunction during aging.
