Objective To investigate the changes of drug resistance and class Ⅰ integron in clinically isolated Pseudomonas aeruginosa(PA) in our hospital form January 2013 to December 2015.Methods Clinically isolated PA strains were divided into the 3 time periods of 2013,2014 and 2015.Their resistance to 22 commonly used antibacterial drugs was investigated by adopting the VITEK-2;200 strains were randomly selected from the isolated strains during these 3 time periods.Class Ⅰ integron was detect by PCR.Results The detected PA in these 3 time periods had 366,437 and 520 strains respectively. The drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to 22 commonly used antibacterial drugs was remarkably increased(P<0.05),especially in ICU.The detection rate of class Ⅰ integron positive bacteria was gradually increased year by year, moreover the drug resistance rate of class Ⅰ integron positive bacteria was significantly higher than that of class Ⅰ integron negative bacteria (P<0.01).Conclusion The drug resistance rate of PA in this hospital is higher. The proportions of multi-drug resistance and classⅠ integron are significantly increased. The hospital infection detection and drug-resistant bacterial monitoring should be strengthened to further standardize the use of antibacterial drugs.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2001;0(08):-
Objective To summarize the characteristic findings on chest radiography and spiral CT of anomalous systemic arterial supply to normal basal segments of the left lower lobe of the lung. Methods Five patients with anomalous systemic arterial supply to normal basal segments of the left lower lobe of the lung were retrospectively reviewed.Chest radiography, and contrast-enhanced spiral CT scan were analyzed. Results On posteroanterior chest radiographs, the findings in 5 cases of this anomaly were all shown as a retrocardiac mass, narrowing lower lobar pulmonary artery shadow, and without normal lower lobar pulmonary artery branches but there were dilated abnormal markings in left lower lung zone.On contrast- enhanced spiral CT scans, the involved left lower lobe of the lung had mild volume loss but normal bronchial trees in all 5 cases and areas of ground-glass opacity in 2 cases. The absence of normal left lower lobar pulmonary artery distal to the origin of superior segmental artery, anomalous systemic artery originating from the descending aorta, diffuse dilatation of the systemic arterial branches distributed in the basal segments of the left lower lobe were also found in all the patients. One patient who underwent angiography had similar vessel features with spiral CT.Conclusion There are some characteristic findings on chest radiography in this anomaly.the contrast-enhanced spiral CT scans are important in diagnosing and avoiding invasive angiography and life-threatening lung biopsy.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2015;30(9):687-691
Objective To investigate the correlation between iodine intake,BRAF mutation in thyroid gland and clinical biologic characteristics in papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC) cases. Methods A total of 159 PTC patients and 200 healthy controls were enrolled in this study.Urine iodine was tested,BRAFV600E mutation was detected by PCR.The correlation was analyzed between BRAF mutation and iodine intake,BRAF mutation and clinical biologic characteristics of PTC respectively. Results The median urinary iodine (MUI) of the patients and healthy controls was 336 μg/L and 196 μg/L respectively (P =0.004).The overall prevalence of the BRAFV600E mutation in this series of PTC was 63.5%,showing a clear correlation of BRAFV~E mutation with iodine intake (P =0.006).There was no correlation of BRAFV600E mutation with age, gender, tumor size, extrathyroid extension or nodulor goiter in PTC (P > 0.05).But there was a significant association of BRAFV~E mutation with lymph node metastasis (P =0.008) and Hashimoto's thyroiditis (P =0.037).Conclusions High iodine intake may be a risk factor for PTC occurrence. In PTC cases, high iodine intake may be a risk factor of BRAFV600E mutation.BRAFV600E mutations increase both in PTC with cervical lymph node metastases and uncoexisting Hashimoto' s thyroiditis.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(40):6476-6481
BACKGROUND:Currently, one of common methods is discectomy, nerve root decompression and fusion rigid fixation from the midline approach for disc herniation which is inefficient by conservative treatments. Thus, it is causing degeneration and limiting lumbar physiological activity of adjacent segments. The treatment of non-fusion lumbar disc herniation with the traditional posterior midline incision approach has some disadvantages such as big incision, wide peeling, and back muscle denervation.
OBJECTIVE:To observe therapeutic effects of dynamic stabilization system through Wiltse approach on lumbar disc herniation, and to compare the outcomes with traditional posterior approach.
METHODA total of 46 patients, who had undergone discectomy and internal fixation using dynamic stabilization systems for lumbar disc herniation at the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University from January 2011 to January 2013, were enrol ed in this study. The operation was performed through the traditional posterior approach in 25 patients and Wiltse approach in 21 patients.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Al 46 patients were fol owed up for 7 to 31 months (averagely, 13.8±2.4 months). The length of incision, intraoperative blood loss, and postoperative drainage amount were less in the Wiltse approach group than in the traditional posterior approach group (P<0.05). No significant difference in visual analog scale scores and operative time was detected between the two groups at 1 week and 6 months after fixation (P>0.05). Radiographs revealed that the position of implants was good in al patients, no loosing or breakage. These data verified that the early effect of dynamic stabilization system through Wiltse approach for lumbar disc herniation is similar to that of traditional posterior approach.

Objective To explore how to improve the sensitivity and specificity of CT cisternography (CTC) examination. Methods The clinical data of 20 cases of CTC in detecting cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea were analyzed, and the influence of continuous dripping of fluid and the filling time of subarachnoid space upon the image quality were observed. Results Nineteen cases of active cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea were found with CTC,and the fistula sites were determined by CTC.Eighteen cases received operation which confirmed the fistula sites. One case was found with no active fistula site.According to the image of ethmoid sinus leaks results,7 cases had better image quality in 9 cases whose subarachnoid space filling time was longer than or equal to 10 min.One case had better image quality in 6 cases whose subarachnoid space filling time was shorter than 10 min. There was significant difference (P =0.0406).Conclusion To raise the positive rate of CTC,the position of active fistula should be maintained and keep the time between the injection and scan longer than or equal to 10 min, which help to get better image quality.
