Based on the formation and developing course of the system of diagnosis and treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),to explain three modes of diagnosis and treatment, including differential diagnosis of diseases therapy, determination of treatment based in pathogenesis obtained through differentiation of symptoms and signs,illness-syndrome coalescent. The latter one consist of the mode of illness-syndrome coalescent of TCM,which is based on diagnosing disease in TCM,to carry out determination of treatment based in pathogenesis obtained through differentiation of symptoms and signs and that based on diagnosing disease in modern medicine,to carry out determination of treatment based in pathogenesis obtained through differentiation of symptoms and signs of TCM.Meanwhile,to approach the advantages and flaws among different modes of diagnosis and treatment, accordingly we could offer theory evidences for elevating the level of curing disease of TCM.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of plasma presepsin levels in patients with sepsis. Methods 92 patients who were admitted to the ICU of the affiliated hospital of Jiangsu University from October 2011 to March 2013 and 30 age-matched healthy controls were enrolled in this study. The patients were divided into three groups: sepsis, SIRS, and control. Plasma presepsin and serum procalcitonin (PCT) were measured, APACHEⅡscore were calculated at enrollment, and ROC curve was used to analyze the performance index for the diagnosis of sepsis. Results Serum levels of presepsin, PCT and APACHEⅡscore were significantly higher in the death group than in the SIRS group and the control group (P<0.01). Serum levels of presepsin and PCT were higher in the sepsis group than in the SIRS group and the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant statistical difference between the SIRS group and the sepsis group in the APACHEⅡ score (detailed in table 1). Level of plasma presepsin was significantly correlated with serum PCT (r = 0.82); plasma presepsin level was related with the APACHEⅡ score (r = 0.69). The area under the curve (AUC) of presepsin was 0.908 (95%CI 0.848~0.967), greater than the AUC of PCT 0.862 (95%CI 0.787~0.937). The cutoff value of presepsin for discrimination of bacterial and nonbacterial infectious diseases was determined to be 629 pg/mL, of which the clinical sensitivity and specificity were 68.6% and 90%, respectively; when the cutoff value of PCT was 1.98 ng/mL, the clinical sensitivity and specificity were 92%and 65%. Conclusions Level of presepsin increases in patients with sepsis, and an elevated presepsin may suggest the severity of sepsis.

It is difficult for medical students to understand electrocardiogram theory. The sec-ond clinical medical college of Wuhan University has explored clinical pathophysiology and therapy (CPPT) pattern in electrocardiogram education. Basic medical knowledge and clinic medical knowl-edge are combined with electrocardiogram theory to reinforce students ' comprehension and attract theit interest in order to obtain better teaching effect. Drawing themselves, analyzing electrocardiogram sys-tematically and memorizing theory with figure is aimed at solving forgetful problems. In addition, the problems such as lack of conformable teaching material, professional teaching teams and objective mode of examination are raised, and the solutions are explored under CPPT pattern.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 1995;0(04):-
Objective: To investigate the feasibility of chitin as bone substitute material and carrier of rhBMP2.Methods: Porous chitin and chitin/rhBMP2/collagen complex were implanted into calvarial defects in 8 rabbits. Bone repairing ability was assessed by radiographic and histological observation. 2 rabbits without implantation were served as controls. Results: Chitin had certain bone conductive ability. When combined with rhBMP2,a complex possessing both bone conductive activity and bone inductive activity was produced. The complex had greater bone repairing ability than chitin alone. Conclusion: Chitin may be used as a bone substitute material and carrier of BMP. But its mechanical strength and surface activity should be improved.

Objective To observe and analyze the therapeutic effect of focal uterine adenomyosis treated with percutaneous microwave ablation by contrast-enhanced ultrasound and dynamic contrast enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI).Methods From January 2013 to July 2016,42 patients with focal uterine adenomyosis voluntarily underwent percutaneous microwave ablation in the tumor hospital of Liaocheng.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound and DCE-MRI were performed before and after percutaneous microwave ablation. The therapeutic effects of percutaneous microwave ablation in treatment of uterine adenomyosis lesions were observed. Results After percutaneous microwave ablation of the 42 cases, the ablated zone showed no enhancement with contrast-enhanced ultrasound and DCE-MRI.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound showed that the volume and ablation rate of ablated zone were (49.0±29.5) cm3 and (91.6± 7.1)%,and that of DCE-MRI were (49.4 ± 29.9)cm3 and (91.9 ± 6.7)%,respectively.The results showed that percutaneous microwave ablation could cure focal uterine adenomyosis at the rate over 90%.Contrast-enhanced ultrasoundand DCE-MRI are in accordance in observing the ablation rate. Conclusions Contrast-enhanced ultrasound can accurately show the ablation rate of focal uterine adenomyosis treated with percutaneous microwave ablation, which is quite consistent with DCE-MRI.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound has its advantages such as identifying the lesions which need immiedately supplemental ablation.

Objective:To research the clinical effect of HeDanPian combined with edaravone in the treatment of acute cerebral in farction and the influence on serum levels of interferon-γ (IFN-γ),promote angiogenin Ⅱ (Ang-2),homocysteine (Hcy).Methods:102 cases of patients with acute cerebral infarction were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with edaravone, intravenous infusion of30mg edaravone,1 time in the morning and night; The experimental group was treated based on the control group treated with HeDanPian, oral HeDanPian 14.6 g,1 time in the early to middle. The curative effect, nerve function defect score (NIHSS),serum IFN-γ Ang-2,Hcy,propylene glycol (MDA),superoxide disproportionation alcohol (SOD),interleukin 6,10 (IL-6,IL-10),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) levels, incidence of adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate, serum Ang-2,SOD,IL-10 levels of experimental group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05),the NIHSS,serum IFN-γ,Hcy,MDA,IL-6,TNF-α levels of experimental group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).No significant difference was found in the incidence of adverse reactions was found between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:HeDanPian combined with edaravone was effective in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction, which could regulate the expression of serum IFN-γ,Ang-2 and Hcy,improve the oxidative stress and inflammation.
