1.ARIMA Product Season Model for Predicting Number of Inpatient and Hospitalized Expense of Malignant Tumor

Objective To explore the application of auto-regressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) product season model in predicting number of inpatient and hospitalized expense of malignant tumor,and to provide scientific basis for hospital business management.Methods We collected inpatient data of malignant tumor from January 2007 to December 2015 in one hospital for model fitting,and used monthly data 2016 to verify the effect of model prediction.We predicted the number of inpatient and hospitalized expense of malignant tumor in 2017.Results ARIMA (0,1,1) (1,1,0) 12 was the best model for number of inpatient and hospitalized expense of malignant tumor,with prediction fitting errors of 1.1% and 1.47 %,respectively.The number of inpatient and hospitalized expense of malignant tumor in 2017 were predicted to be 7631 and 0.336 billion.Conclusion ARIMA product season model can better applied in the predicting of hospital business management.

The Rotating Automatic Drug Delivery Machine is designed to deliver aqueous drugs in hospital pharmacy.It consists of two main parts-mechanical parts and controlling circuit.In the machine the drug tray is rotated in a seperate layer,and its spinning,position fixing and tray stopping is run by one step motor.The microcomputer (MCS-51) used in the controlling cir- cuit makes it easy to simplify the hardware and change iits controlling ways. This machine use first used in our hospital and it has been proved successfal.
3.A comparison of Sun’s operation and ascending aorta replacement combined with open placement of triple-branched stent graft in treatment of type A aortic dissection

Objective To evaluate results of surgical treatment for patients with acute type A aortic dissection using Sun’s operation and triple-branched stent graft. Methods According to the operation mode, thirty-three patients with type A aortic dissection were divided into Sun’s operation group (n=22) and triple branches aortic arch stent-graft placement op?eration (triple-branched) group (n=11). Preoperative examinations included cardiac ultrasound, aortic CT angiography (CTA), hepatic and renal functions and blood routine test in all patients. Intraoperative monitoring included the index about cardiopulmonary bypass and blood loss. The perioperative hepatic and renal functions and complications were also recorded. Survival and recovery rates were evaluated by follow-up between two groups of patients. Results There were six periopera?tive death in Sun’s group, and three patients died in triple-branched group. In triple-branched group, the intraoperative blood loss was significantly increased than that in Sun’s group [(3 586.4±2 926.8) mL vs. (2 630.5±1 821.2) mL, P<0.05]. Postoperative echocardiographic examinations revealed that the left ventricular size (LVEDd) and the aortic diameter were decreased while the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was elevated after surgery in Sun’s group [(50.9±6.9) mm vs. (55.0±7.5) mm,(28.2±1.6) mm vs. (48.8±11.0) mm, 0.620±0.031 vs. 0.469±0.104, P<0.05]. Whereas, only the aortic diame?ter was decreased after surgery in triple-branched group [(28.6±3.9) mm vs. (50.9±9.2) mm, P<0.05]. Kaplan-Meier surviv?al curve showed that five-year survival rate of Sun’s group was similar with that of triple-branched group (Log-rank χ2=0.095,P>0.05). At 5 year after operation, there were no significant differences in the recurrence of new aortic dissection, the incidence of cerebral infarction and mortality between Sun’s group and triple-branched group (P>0.05). Conclusion Sun’s operation can significantly decrease patient’s intraoperative blood loss and improve cardiac function. But its survival rate and long term results need advanced observation.
4.TNF-α induced RIP1-dependent apoptosis in L929-A cells by interrupting mitochondrial respiratory chain complex Ⅲ

Objective To explore the mechanism by which tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α) induces RIP1 kinase-dependented apoptosis in L929-A fibroblastoma cells.Methods The sub-mitochondrial localization of receptor-interacting protein 1(RIP1),caspase-8 and Bid proteins was detected by dose-gradient trypsin digestion and Western blotting.The levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS),intracellular calcium concentration,mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP),and cellular adenosine triphosphate(ATP) content were determined by fluorescent probe labeling and flow cytometry assay.The mitochondrial respiratory chain complex Ⅰ and Ⅲ activities were detected by commercial kits.Nec-1,A RIP1 kinase specific inhibitor,and RIP1-/-or Bid-/-L929-A cells were used to detect the roles of RIP1 kinase and Bid protein in cell death.Results RIP1,caspase-8 and Bid proteins were co-located in the outer membrane of mitochondrial.TNF-α exposure for 3 h could induce Bid cleavage,inhibit mitochondrial respiratory chain complex Ⅲ activity and reduce MMP.Following these changes and after TNF-α exposure for 6-12 h,the intracellular calcium concentration and ROS were increased,whereas the ATP concentration was decreased,and the cells were killed.Inhibiting RIP1 kinase or knockdown RIP1 or Bid protein could suppress all the cytotoxic effects of TNF-α.Conclusion TNF-α treatment can result in RIP1 kinase-mediated Bid cleavage and inhibit mitochondrial respiratory chains and cell energy metabolism,which ultimately leads to the death of L929-A cells.

7.Effect of Aspirin on Thromboembolism in Hypertensive Patients Associated with Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Objective To investigate the effect of aspirin on the incidence of thromboembolism in hypertensive patients associated with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.MethodsFour hundred hypertensive patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (mean age 59 years) free of thromboembolic events were randomized assigned to receive aspirin (0.3 g/d) or placebo. Cerebral thromboembolism,including transient ischemic attack and embolism of peripheral arteries were defined as primary outcomes. Event-free survival curves were estimated by Kaplan-Meier curve. Because of the high morbidity and mortality rate,cardio-cerebrovascular diseases,including cerebral embolism, cerebral hemorrhage,cerebral vasospasm and myocardial infarction,have become main diseases threatening human health. Tradition-al chinese medicine(TCM)holds that the basic pathogenesis is Qi imbalances,which could be improved by benefiting Qi and promot-ing blood circulation. The compatibility of Radix astragali and Radix salviae miltiorrhiae are particularly suitable for treating the car-dio-cerebrovascular system diseases by improving Qi deficiency and blood stasis. This paper focuses on the application of Radix astrag-ali,Radix s. miltiorrhiae and their compatibility for treating the cardio-cerebrovascular system diseases. Moreover,our research would offer valuable references for the development of new drugs related to the treatment of cardio-cerebrovascular system diseases.
9.A comparative study of diffusion tensor imaging parameters and pathologic changes in rabbit with acute spinal cord injury

Objective To make spinal cor injury model of rabbit in order to investigate the feasibility and accuracy of diffusion tensor imaging in diagnosis of early ASCI. Methods In 30 Chinese rabbits ,24 rabbits were randomly selected as the experimental group and the other 6 as the control group. Allen′s technique were used to make moderateacute spinal cord injury in the experimental group. In the control group ,the operation only exposed the spinal membrane ,wihthout damage on the spinal cord. All rabbits were performed in routine MRI , DTI ,diffusion tensor tractography and post-processing. After the MRI scan ,the rabbit spinal cord was removed to have pathological examination at 1 ,3 ,5 ,7 days. Results The number of inflammatory cells and spinal motor neurons were closely correlated with FA values and ADC values. DTT images showed the spinal cord defects, curling and breaking. Conclusion The parameters of DTI (FA ,ADC) can reflect the pathological changes of acute spinal cord injury in early stage ,and therefore may be used as an routine evaluation method for clinical acute spinal cord injury.
10.Effects of hyperoxia on expression of nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2 and Keap1 in prema-ture newborn rats'lung

Objective To explore the expression of nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2) and the molecular chaperone of cytoplasmic Keap1 in premature newborn rats exposed to hyperoxia.Methods Completely randomized design method was performed,one-day old preterm SD rats were randomly divided into two groups:hyperoxia group and air group.The preterm SD rats in hyperoxia group were continuously exposed to oxygen(oxygen >0.85)and air group in room air.After 1 ,4,7,10,14 days of exposure,the pre-term SD rats of two groups were sacrificed,whole lung of these rats were isolated,the lung histological chan-ges were observed by HE staining.Total lung RNA was extracted,Nrf2 and Keap1 mRNA were detected by RT-PCR.Western-blot was used to detect the changes of Nrf2 protein expression.Results (1 )Compaired with air group,the expression of Nrf2 in lung tissue of hyperoxia group significantly increased after 4,7 days of exposure(4 d:0.314 ±0.064 vs.0.521 ±0.086,7 d:0.440 ±0.121 vs.0.658 ±0.076)(P <0.05 ),the general tendency decreased after 10 days,but the expression of Nrf2 became significantly weak after 14 days of exposure in hyperoxia group(P <0.05).(2)The expression of Keap1 mRNA in hyperoxia group signifi-cantly increased in 1 ,4 days(1 d:0.352 ±0.052 vs.0.547 ±0.075,4 d:0.363 ±0.074 vs.0.658 ±0.076) (P <0.05),the general tendency decreased after 7 days of exposure,but the expression of Keap1 mRNA in hyperoxia group became significantly weaker than its expression after 10,14 days of air group(P <0.05 ). (3)In comparison with air group,Nrf2 protein expression in hyperoxia group increased after 1 ,4 days of ex-posure with no significant difference(P >0.05),but had a tendency of decreasing after 7 days.On day 10, 14,its expression in hyperoxia group became significantly weak compared with that of air group(10 d:1.325 ±0.464 vs.0.755 ±0.348,14 d:1.662 ±0.474 vs.0.867 ±0.1 15 )(P <0.05 ).Conclusion Oxidation outbreak results in the abnormal expression of Nrf2 and Keap1 in the lung of premature SD rats induced by hyperoxia exposure,which adjusts the levels of oxidative stress in the body,these changes participate in the development of hyperoxia induced lung injury,the activity of Nrf2 may be increased by hyperoxia exposure, and alleviate hyperoxia lung injury in premature rats through antioxidation of Nrf2.
