Objective: To explore the characteristics of acupoint selection in the treatment of apoplexy. Method:This paper reviews and analyzes the ancient and current medical literature, and then summarizes the characteris -tics of acupoint selection in treating apoplexy. Results:Four characteristics are presented: the acupoints on the head are mostly used; the acupoints are principally selected according to the course of nerves; the acupoints of the yang meridians are usually selected; the special acupoints and empirical acupoints are often combined. Conclusion: Above principles may be adopted in the selection of acupoints to treat apoplexy.

Journal of China Medical University 2015;(6):489-493
Objective To assess the effectiveness and safety of hyperthermia combined with chemotherapy(HCT)compared with chemotherapy (CT)for ovarian cancer. Methods Related literatures were searched by two independent investigators from the following electronic databases:PubMed,Cochrane Library,EMbase,VIP,WanFang Data,CNKI and CBM.Then the meta?analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.3 software. Results A total of 10 RCTs involving 546 patients were included. The results of Meta?analysis showed that the HCT group was superior to the CT group in the effective rate, tumor control rate, effective rate of CA125,ascites control rate and PD,with significant differences(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the improvement rate of life quality and the incidences of myelosuppression, severe myelosuppression, severe nausea and vomiting, severe constipation and diarrhea, liver and renal damage(P>0.05). Conclusion Compared with CT,HCT can significantly increase short?term curative effect, ameliorate the quality of life, and it does not increase the incidence of adverse reactions. HCT is worthy of clinical applica?tion.

The development of medical imaging diagnosis technology has brought forward higher requirements for the teaching of oral and maxillofacial medical imaging diagnostics, In this study, we intro-duce the methods and concepts of comparative imaging to guide students to analyze and compare oral and maxillofacial diseases from different perspectives, and to promote the students' understanding of the disease image and mastery of disease diagnosis, improve the students' ability to choose the appropriate imaging method in the future clinical work. Comparative imaging is one of the important teaching methods in the diagnosis of oral and maxillofacial medical imaging, and it is also the direction of its future development.

Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2011;27(2):71-74
Objective To evaluate the performance of the Sino System for Coronary Operative Risk Evaluation ( SinoSCORE) on in-hospital mortality and postoperative complications in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in a single heart center. Methods From January 2007 to December 2008, clinical information of 201 consecutive patients undergoing isolated CABG in our hospital was collected. The SinoSCORE was used to predict hospital mortality and major complications[sternal wound infection, postoperative renal failure, multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, perioperative intra-aortic balloon pumps ( IABP), etc.]after CABG among our study participants, which was initially designed as CBAG operative risk scoring system and included 11 risk factors. We estimated the predictable capability of SinoORE model by the means of analysing the calibration and discrimination characters of this risk scoring system. Calibration was evaluated with the method of Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness-of-fit test. Discrimination was tested by determining the area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. The optimal cut-off point for SinoSCORE predicting major complications was obtained by the Youden index. Results Of all our study patients, the observed in-hospital mortality was 1.99% (4/201). The overall mean baseline age was ( 63.3 ± 9.2 ) years and 24.4% ( 49/201 ) were female. The predicted mortality cakulated by the SinoSCORE was 2.88% which was slightly higher than the actual mortality. SinoSCORE model slwed very high discriminatory ability and the good calibration power in predicting in-hospital mortality: Hosmer-Lemeshow calibration test:x2 =4. 304, P =0.744 and area under ROC was 0. 81 (95% CI: 0.687 -0.932). As for the major postoperative complications after CABG,SinoSCORE model still achieved a satisfactory performance with the good predictive value for the main complications risk evaluation such as postoperative renal failure, multiple organ dysfunction syndrome and IABP. Hosmer-Lemeshow: P =0.75, P =0. 75, P = 1.00; Areas under ROC respectively at was 0. 768 ( 95 % CI: 0.613 - 0. 924 ). 0. 832 ( 95 % CI: 0. 732 - 0. 932 )and 0. 737 (95% CI: 0. 607 -0. 867 ). The optimal cut-off points for SinoSCORE model predicting each of the above three major postoperative complications was ultimately determined to be 4.5. Conclusion In our patient database, the SinoSCORE model proved a good preoperative risk model in predicting both in-hospital mortality and major complications after CABG, which provides a realistic estimation of hospital death and post-operative complications risk for patients undergoing CABG. Sinoscore model is a suitable operative risk estimation system for Chinese CABG patients.

Objective To identify two suspected Legionella pneumophila (L.pneumophila) strains isolated from environmental water and air conditioning cooling water systems in Guangzhou city. Methods The two strains were identified by their cultural characteristics, biochemical test,Legionella-specific primer PCR identification,PCR-enzymatic digestion analysis,16S rRNA,mip and rpoB gene sequencing analysis. Results The two suspected L.pneumophila isolates were identified as gram-negative bacillus appeared as white colonies on BCYEα-agar after incubation for 48 hours at 36℃.Both isolates were positive for oxidase, gelatinase and hydrolysis of hippurate, and negative for urease activity and nitrate reduction.Their phenotypic characteristics were similar to those of L.pneumophila strains. Results of PCR identification by using Legionella-specific primer were positive.Enzymatic digestion analysis showed that the 226 bp PCR products of two isolates were not digested by Taa Ⅰ.The two strains were classified as Legionella busanensis as indicated by gene sequencing analysis of 16S rRNA,mip and rpoB gene. Conclusion Two L.busanensis strains were first isolated from environmental and air conditioning cooling water systems in China.Due to their biochemical characteristics,L.busanensis strains were commonly misidentified as L.pneumophila, but could be effectively identified by PCR-enzymatic digestion analysis and multiple genes identification.
