5.The effect of different frequencies of pudendal nerve electrical stimulation on female stress urinary incontinence
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2013;(5):391-393
Objective To investigate the effect of different frequencies of pudendal electrical nerve stimulation on female stress urinary incontinence. Methods 60 SUI female patients from Shanghai Research Institute of Acupuncture and Meridian affiliated Yue Yang Hospital were enrolled in a three-times-per-week treatment group (30 paients) and a twice-per-week treatment group (30 patients). Both groups were treated by pudendal nerve electrical stimulation for twelve times. The change of therapeutic effect, symptoms index were observed in both groups before and after the treatment. Results ① Comparison of clinical efficacy:The therapeutic rate of three-times-per-week treatment group was 63.3% (19/30),the total effective rate was 90.0% (27/30); the therapeutic rate of twice-per-week treatment group was 36.7% (11/30),the total effective rate was 76.7% (23/30).The therapeutic rate showed significant differences between the two groups (x2=4.267,P< 0.05); The total effective rate showed no differences between the two groups (x2 =l.920,P>0.05).② Comparison of clinical symptom score and life quality score:the post-treatment clinical symptom scores of the both groups improved significantly compared with the pre-treatment (tthee-times-prt-week=7.972,ttwice-per-week=9.520,both P<0.01).Clinical symptom score of three-times-per-week treatment group improved better than twice-per-week treatment group (P<0.01).Conclusion Three-times-per-week of pudendal nerve electrical stimulation has a better effect on treating female SUI patients.
6.Effect of different interventions on acute ischemic disease of lower extremities
Tianjin Medical Journal 2015;(2):206-208
Objective To compare the treatment effects of catheter directed thrombolysis and thrombetomy for acute ar?terial ischemia of the lower extremity. Methods Patients who visited Tianjin Medical University General Hospital from 2011 to 2013 and were attacked by acute ischemic disease of lower extremities within 3 days (n=66) were investigated. Thrombetomy and thrombolysis treatment had been performed to 32 cases and 34 cases respectively according to patients’ own willingness. Postoperative symptom remission rate, limb salvage rate, fatality rate, reperfusion injury rate (including re?nal inadequacy, heart failure, muscle fascia compartment syndrome), bleeding rate and limb dysfunction rate were compared between these two groups. Results There was no statistical difference on the rate of symptom remission (93.8% vs 94.1%), limb salvage(96.9%vs 100%), case fatality rate(3.1%vs 0), bleeding rate(0 vs 8.8%)and limb dysfunction rate (0 vs 5.9%)between these two groups. However, the incidence of reperfusion injury was higher in the group of thrombectomy (37.5%vs 2.9%, P<0.05)compared to that of the other group. Conclusion Similar effect of treatment and less reperfusion injury, especially renal injury, had been achieved by CDT compared with thrombetomy.
7.Elementary studies on intrinsic inhibitor that retards germinaton of seed of Astragalus membranaceus
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(07):-
Object An attempt to seek after an intrinsic inhibitor present in the seed of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bge.. Methods Crude ethereal extract of the seed was prepared and treated on paper chromatography. Inhibitory effects of different fractions with different Rf value were tested on Brassica chinensis L. and wheat germination. Effect of steeping the seed in warm water at 41 ℃ or 45 ℃ for different periods of time was also studied. Results Seed of A. membranaceus does contain strong intrinsic inhibitor. The portion of its ethereal extract with Rf 0.9 showed the most strong inhibition for the germination of Brassica, and the fraction with Rf 1.0 can inhibit the growth of the tender Brassica root, steeping with warm water can remove most of the intrinsic inhibitor, which also inhibits the growth of both aerial and underground parts of wheat sprouts, but without effect on its seed germination. It also showed strong inhibition of seed germination and growth of tender root of A. membranaceus. Conclusion Besides the low water permeability of the seed peel, the intrinsic inhibitor present in A. membranaceus is another essential factor that retard its germination.

10.Research and application of microRNA in the liver diseases
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(02):-
MicroRNAs(miRNAs,miR) is a class of 21~22 nt small non-protein-coding single strand RNA molecules. In the liver, the phenotypic alternation or expressed abnormality of many miRNAs can influence the hepatitis virus replication at the gene level, which would provocate the development from hepatitis to hepatic fibrosis, cirrhosis, and even primary hepatic carcinoma on target. And so,several miRNAs are confirmed to be a new class of related gene to carcinoma.Furthermore, the dysfunction or abnormal quantity of miRNAs will promote the formation of fatty liver disease by interfering with signal transduction of insulin, inducing insulin resistance and then influencing normal metabolism of endosomatic lipid,Therefore, the specific medicine or methods, which might retrieve the expression or function of miRNAs in the hepatocytes, will provide a new valuable method to manage human liver disease.
