Chronic HBV infection may not only cause liver damage , but also lead to renal injury . HBV-related kidney injuries mainly include ( 1 ) HBV-associated glomerulonephritis , ( 2 ) hepatorenal syndrome, and (3) kidney injuries caused by long-term nucleos(t)ide analogues therapy. This paper mainly reviews the pathogenesis and therapeutic principle of HBV-related kidney injuries , so as to provide the foundation for clinical management .

Objective To explore induced eruption techniques of the impacted maxillary canine with labial medial inclination. Methods A total of 38 cases with upper impacted canines with labial medial inclination were selected. The impacted canine was connected to the buccal hook of the upper first molar band, moved distantly and uprightly and then drawn to the dental arch after the pressure to the adjacent teeth was removed. Results After average 18 months treatment, 38 patients had good functions. The deeper impacted canines in 5 patients were extracted, and then the dental arch spaces closed. The lateral incisors of root resorption in 4 patients were extracted. The premolars in 19 patients were removed, and 10 patients without extractions. Then the impacted canines were moved into dental arch. There was no aggravated root resorption during the treatment process. Conclusion When the maxillary canine with labial medial inclination is impacted, it is moved distantly and uprightly by elastic line connected to the buccal hook of the maxillary first molar band, and then drawn to the dental arch. The process is smoothly and the neighbor teeth are protected.

[Objective]To translate the SRS-22 Questionnaire from English edition into Chinese version for the use of Chinese adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis and to evaluate the metric qualities of this questionnair. [Method] Transcultural adaptation of the SRS-22 Questionnaire was carried out according to the International Quality of Life Assessment Project guide-lines,The final version was decided on by a committee of experts. The Questionnaire was completed by 86 adolescents(M=11,F=75) with idiopathic scoliosis. The patients were 10~18 years old(mean,13.9 years).Curve magnitude ranged from 25? to 45?(mean,35.6?).Out of them,30 patients repeated the questionnaire 3~4 weeks later.[Result]The overall alpha coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.88.Coefficients for individual domains were as follows:function/activity,0.70;pain,0.80;self-image,0.80;mental health,0.88;and satisfaction,0.81.The questionnaire as a whole had a test-retest correlation coefficient of 0.97.Test-retest correlation coefficients for individual domains were as follows:function,0.85;pain,0.96;self-image,0.96;mental health,0.95;and satisfaction,0.91.Six common factors were acquired from factor analysis, and the cumulative contribution rate was 72.29%. [Conclusion] The Chinese version of the SRS-22 Questionnaire has eligible reliability and validity. It can be used to measure health-related quality of life of adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis in China.

[Objective]To analyze the clinical effect of the unstable pertrochanteric femoral fracture treated with anatomical plate.[Method]To prospectively compare anatomical plate with dynamic hip screw(DHS) in terms of treatment of the unstable pertrochanteric femoral fracture in elderly.Fifty-eight elderly patients with unstable pertrochanteric femoral fracture who were treated from June 2003 to May 2007 and followed up for 9-24 months were randomized into two treatment groups,ie,anatomical plate internal fixation(group I) and dynamic hip screw internal fixation(group II).Of all,32 patients were treated with anatomical plate internal fixation and 26 with DHS internal fixation. The treatment groups were comparable with regard to all demographic and injury variables.[Result]Patients treated with anatomical plate internal fixation had shorter operative times, fewer blood loss and blood transfusion, and higher Harris scores, there were significant differences in the two groups. The incidence rate of early postoperative complication was 9.38% in group I and 11.54% in group Ⅱ.The incidence rate of late postoperative complication was 9.38% in group Ⅰ and 30.78% in group Ⅱ.There were significant differences in late postoperative complication and no significant differences in early postoperative complication between the two groups.[Conclusion]The unstable pertrochanteric femoral fracture treated with anatomical plate could achieve excellent clinical results.

Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(04):-
Objective: To investigate the clinical effects of early enteral nutrition in severe brain injury patients requiring mechanical ventilation. Methods: 56 patients requiring mechanical ventilation were randomly divided into two groups:A(n=28),EEN group peptisorb,1 000 ml a day;B(n=28),control group,PN.The changes of serum total protein, blood albumin, immune globulin, lymphocyte count, nitrogen balance, oxgenation index(PaO2/FiO2),ventilation parameter and blood routine were measured.APACHE Ⅱ,incidence of ventilator-associated pneumoniasurvival rate for 28 days and days in hospital were observed. Results: Incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia,28 d-survival rate and mean hospitalization day were significantly different(P

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(02):-
Objective To examine deletion and mutation of p16 gene in primary pancreatic carcinoma to evaluate the relationsip between p16 gene alteration and carcinogenesis of pancreatic carcinoma as well as its progression. Methods Deletion and mutation of p16 gene in 28 primary pancreatic carcinomas and 28 normal tissues adjacent to tumors were detected by PCR-based deletion analysis technique and PCR-SSCP respectively, and the relationship between the results of detection and the clinical parameters was analysed. Results In 28 pancreatic carcinomas, homozygous deletion and mutation of p16 gene were found in 4 and 5 cases respectively. The frequency of p16 gene alteration was 32 1%. p16 gene alteration closely correlated with lymph node metastasis (P

OBJECTIVE To understand the related factors, the situation and dynamics of hospital infection in order to effectively prevent and control it.METHODS From 12306 cases of inpatients who had investigated retrospectively,706 cases were with nosocomial infection monitored from Jan to Dec 2006.RESULTS The hospital infection rate was 5.74% in 2006.The hematological disease and, cancer patients and the elderly, were the high-risk population. The main infection site was the respiratory tract.Fungi accounted for 21.35%,the top was the Candida albicans.CONCLUSIONS To strengthen the training of medical staff,to monitor the key departments of hematology and cancer and respiratory diseases and to attend the disease surveillance and rationally use of antibiotics are the effective measures to reduce hospital-acquired infections.
