Objective To investigate the influence of Buyanghuanwu (BYHW) Decoction on cerebral infarct volume and pathological changes after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion. Methods The model of focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion was made by thread embolism method. Healthy male SD rats were divided randomly into sham-operated group, model group and BYHW Decoction group. Infarct volume was detected by triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TTC) staining and pathological changes were observed microscopically in HE stained sections. Results In BYHW Decoction group, infarct volume was significantly smaller than that in model group (P

0.05).The exclusion probability of Gc is 34.8% and discrimination probability of Gc is 79.44%.There are not any significant difference of the distribution of Gc subtypes between the Hun population in Chengdu and those in Hong Kong and Japanese.The difference of the distribution of Gc subtypes between the Han population in Chengdu and those in Malaysia,Indonesia,India as well as the American caucasians,Belgians,Icelander and West German are sig- nificant. The phenotyping of Gc in 11 bloodstain samples kept in room temperature for twenty weeks were carried out successfully also using PAGIF followed by immunofixation method.

Aortopulmonary septal defect is a rare anomaly,it should be considered whenever the course of complex congenital heart di-sease includes early cardiac failure and pulmonary hypertension.So the importance of early correction to avoid irreversible pulmonary hypertension was emphasized.Noninvasive imaging with echocardiography and (or) 64MRSCT will adequately define the anatomy before surgery,it's necessary to perform cardiac catheterization to evaluate the reversability of pulmonary vessels when pulmonary hypertention is suspected.

More and more research proved that CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells (Treg cells) play an important role in immune tolerance in these years. Known as a T cell growth factor, Interleukin2 (IL-2) regulated the immune tolerance induced by Treg cells. IL-2 sustained the activity of Treg cells both in thymus and periphery while it was dispensable for the development of Treg cells in thymus. In addition, IL-2 signal affected the function of Treg cells and maintained their competitive fitness. Therefore, CD4+CD25+ Treg cells and IL-2 formed an immune network to regulate the processes of immune response, immune tolerance and autoimmune homeostasis.

Objective To investigate MVD, TSP-1, TGF-?1 expression in GH-Secreting Pituitary Adenomas by immunohistochemistry, and to correlate data with clinical characteristics.Methods The protein expression of TSP-1, TGF-?1 in 48 surgical specimens (21 invasive cases; 27 non-invasive cases) of pituitary adenomas was measured using immunohistochemical method. The relationship between the expression and clinical properties was examined. MVD was measured by detecting CD34.Results Compared with the noninvasive group, no difference of expression of CD34(t=2.257; P=0.083) was observed. The expression of TSP-1 in invasive group was low. The expression of TGF-?1 was higher in invasive cases than that in noninvasive ones. The expression of TGF-?1 had positive correlations with MVD; but there was no correlation between the expression of CD34 and the invasion of pituitary adenomas. In addition, MVD count was not associated with the expression of TSP-1. Size, sex or rate of recurrence did not influence MVD and TSP-1 expression. Conclusion MVD values do not necessarily represent angiogenesis in pituitary adenomas. TGF-?1 may increase MVD, and TSP-1 does not affect MVD in pituitary adenomas and angiogenesis may be regulated by other pathway.

Objective To study the biological function of Topical Oxygen Therapy(TOT) and Infrared Light-Emitting Diode(LED) therapy and mechanism of combination of both therapy in wound healing.To develop a device combined with TOT and LED therapy.Methods Wound models were made using rabbits which were grouped in four groups such as control group,TOT group,LED group and combined group by random.Except control group,the other groups were carried on TOT,LED and TOT+LED therapy respectively.Wound healing situations were observed.Results TOT+LED therapy could cut the wound healing time whose mechanism was to form composition force in the processing of wound healing by prompting inside growth factors and outside factors.Conclusion The therapy combined with TOT and LED can facilitate the wound healing.The theory of the wound healing device is feasible according to the results of the experiments.

Objective To study the killing effect of polymorphonuclear neutrophils(PMNs) on Trichomonas vaginalis. Methods The vaginal secretion from a patient with vaginitis was incubated in the liver infusion liquid medium to get T. vaginalis. One ml serum was collected from the patient and heated for 30 min at 56 ℃ to inactivate complement in serum, and was absorbed three times with the parasites at 0 ℃ to make the serum free of antibodies. PMNs were separated from the patient’s blood and purified with density gradient centrifugation and polymer accelerating sedimentation. NBT and safranin O were used to stain the sample. The interaction between PMNs and the parasites was observed under microscope. 300 trichomonads and 3?104 PMNs were incubated for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 minutes under the conditions of aerobic or anaerobic, with superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) or without SOD and CAT, and with complement or without complement. They were then inoculated in solid medium for another five days under the anaerobic condition, and surviving organisms were enumerated. Results PMNs were observed to surround and kill a single trichomonad. Objective To investigate the protective effects of astragaloside Ⅳ on blood-brain barrier(BBB) and influence on expression of ZO-1 protein after cerebral ischemia and reperfusion in rats.Methods 72 SD rats were randomly divided into:sham operation group,model group and two astragaloside Ⅳ therapy groups [group A(10 mg/kg,group B(20 mg/kg)].Method of Evans blue leakage and water content in the brain tissue were used to investigate the permeability of the BBB,and method of immunohistochemistry combined with image analysis was used to measure the expression of ZO-1 protein in microvessels.Results Compared with those in the model group,Evans blue leakage and water content were less and the number of ZO-1 possitive vessels was increased in the two astragaloside Ⅳ therapy groups.There were statistical differences between therapy groups and model group(all P
