1.Effect of anisodamine on magnesium content of liver mitochondria during hemorrhagic shock
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(03):-
In order to explore the cellular mechanism of antishock effect of anisodamine (654-2), the changes of intramitochondrial magnesium during late hemorrhagic shock were observed. Results showed that there exists a negative correlation between the blood plasma magnesium concentration and arterial blood pressure in shocked animals and at the same time the magneium content of liver mitochondria reduced significantly; 654-2 prevented the decrease of mitochondria magnesium and the increase of blood plasma magnesium, and improved the prognosis of the shocked animals. These results indicate that 654-2 may protect the liver mitochondria of shocked animals at a cellular and subcellular levels.

Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging 2014;(9):681-685
Purpose CT spectroscopy imaging was used in the preoperative differentiation evaluation of renal clear cell carcinoma, to access its malignant degree preoperatively, and to guide the operation treatment. Materials and Methods The spectral characteristics of 40 patients with renal clear cell carcinoma (RCCC) were analyzed retrospectively, all the RCCC patients underwent gemstone spectral imaging (GSI) scans, to obtain spectral serial images for the arterial phase and medulla phase. Spectral characteristic parameters and spectrum curve between different grades of renal cell carcinoma was compared, and the results were compared with pathology. Results Among the 40 cases of patients, carcinoma of grade I, II and III were 13 cases, 15 cases and 12 cases respectively. CT value ratio of renal clear cell carcinoma of grade I, II and III under 70 keV were 1.17±0.25, 0.84±0.85 and 0.64±0.19 (F=23.697, P<0.05) in arterial phase and 0.83±0.12, 0.64±0.07 and 0.54±0.08 (F=30.975, P<0.05) in medulla phase;iodine concentration ratio was 1.19±0.40, 0.60±0.10 and 0.25±0.94 (F=32.932, P<0.05) in arterial phase, and 0.69±0.18, 0.43±0.94 and 0.26±0.51 (F=28.673, P<0.05) in medulla phase. Spectrum curve slope of renal clear cell carcinoma of grade I, II, III in arterial phase was 4.00±1.24, 2.16±0.95 and 0.92±0.64 (F=23.392, P<0.05), and 3.54±1.20, 2.70±0.71 and 1.20±0.44 (F=24.272, P<0.05) in medulla phase. Differences of water concentration in arterial and medulla phase between renal clear cell carcinoma with different grade were not statistically signiifcant (P>0.05). Conclusion The differences of CT value, energy spectrum curve slope, iodine value under CT spectroscopy single energy imaging between renal clear cell carcinoma with different nuclear grade were statistically signiifcant, which can be expected to provide the basis for preoperative therapy selection.

5.Development of glucometer based on ferrocene-mediated enzyme electrode
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(02):-
A portable glucometer is developed with ferrocene as an electron mediator, which is characterized by being easy to operate and portable with the small size of 94.3mm?49.2mm?17.8mm. With this meter, the detection result can be available in no more than 20 seconds with about 1.5?l of blood drawn. The meter has a measurement range from 50mg/dl to 500mg/dl and a precision of 1mg/dl. The measurements are compared with the ones from USI 2300 Stat Plus approved by FDA. The coefficient of variation is from 3.0% to 7.8%, and the availability of linear relationship (y=1.006x-1.37, r=0.990, n=1.18) and comparability are demonstrated. Error table analysis proves that all of measurements are in the acceptable A and B sections. The meter is a validated diagnostic system for in vitro blood glocuse.
6.Application of Defibrillation Techniques in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the techniques of electrical defibrillation and their application to cardiopulmonary re-suscitation(CPR).Methods On the basis of reviewing the definition of electrical defibrillation, the main defibrillation tech-niques and their developments were introduced,as well as the selection of shock energy. The role that defibrillation played during CPR was defined according to the consensus. Results As an unfashionable technique, monophasic waveforms was inclined to be replaced by present biphasic waveform including biphasic truncated exponential(BTE) waveform and recti-linear biphasic waveform(RBW).The selected shock energy varied with the waveform that a defibrillator made use of,i.e.a monophasic defibrillator required a higher energy level as usual, whereas a biphasic one did not.It was deemed that biphasic technique presented an excellence in less damage to heart in addition to higher rate of successful defibrillation. In the critical care for sudden cardiac arrest with a shockable rhythm, the protocol of "1 shock + 5 cycles of CPR" should be recommended. Conclusion Electrical defibrillation techniques consist mainly of monophasic waveform and biphasic wave-form,between which the latter gains an advantage over the former. On the grounds of modern emergency medicine,defib-rillation has to be performed in combination with CPR.

10.Application of biological patch in tension-free hernioptasty
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(47):9341-9344
Tension-free hernioptasty is a major method for treating inguinal hernia, characterizing by less wound, tension-free incision, sample processing, less dissection and separation, mild pain, rapid recovery, and short length of stay. In particular, transabdominal preperitoneal inguinal hernioplasty is considered as the most ideal method at physiologicoanatomical level. However, the effect of patch materials on postoperative recovery is generally ignored for a long time. Recent studies demonstrate that patch weight and mesh diameter are important factors for abdominal wall repairing and reconstruction. Polypropylene patch, characterizing by strong stability, high intensity, great unreactiveness, and sample processing, has become a major material for hernioptasty. However, there are still some problems of clinical application, including that polypropylene patch may induce intensive foreign body reaction and chronic inflammation as well as compliance decreasing of abdominal wall. Therefore, polypropylene patch should be chosen according to patient requirement, i.e., light, soft, and wide-aperture patch, so as to reduce onset of complication. Nerve and ligament tissues could be clearly observed from light and soft patch, and this might and prevent hurt by mistake, improve repairing operability, enhance correct putting of patch, and decrease incidence of pain. Furthermore, the structure was beneficial for in-growth of fiber tissue, longitudinal and transversal movement induced by body position alternation and muscle contraction, and reduction of discomfortableness.
