1.Study of genes related with kidney deficiency syndrome.

Study of kidney deficiency syndrome may utilize the modern molecular biology technique, such as gene chip, representational difference analysis (RDA) and genes sequence analysis, to clone the different genes of kidney deficiency syndrome from single TCM syndrome type of the disease, to investigate the inner connection between the various phenotypes of kidney deficiency syndrome and their genes expression pattern and their function products, then to definite the related genes of kidney deficiency syndrome. The research method may also be used for the study of other TCM syndrome types.
2.The relationship between emotional intelligence and the ways of occupational stress coping in nurses

Objective To investigate characteristics of emotional intelligence(EI)and the ways of occupational stress coping in nurses as well as the predictive validity of EI on coping strategies.Methods 464 nurses from general hospitals were collected and evaluated with psychometric instruments including:Wong's Emotional Intelligence Scale(WEIS)and Nurse Ways of Coping Questionnaire.Data were conducted by Logistic regress analysis according to key themes.Results (1)Nurses' demographic characteristics had effects to the ways of occupational stress coping and emotional intelligence.However,there was no statistical difference of El varied with education levels(P>0.05).(2)Both problems solving and positive recognition are main coping styles of nurses towards occupational stress.Either avoidance or self-reproach was seldom coping strategies of nurses toward occupational pressures(2.60±0.55;2.60±0.75;1.37±0.69;respectively).(3)El was correlated with coping styles(r=-0.123~0.253,P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Four dimensions of EI positively or negatively predicted six kinds of occupational stress coping strategies separately.
3.Electro-acupuncture up-regulates the expression of stromal cell-derived factor-1α mRNA and its protein and promotes revascularization in the brain after focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion

Objective To investigate the mechanism by which electro-acupuncture (EA) promotes revascularization in the brain after focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion.Methods The Sprague-Dawley rat model of focal cerebral ischemia was made by filament occlusion. The rats were randomly divided into a control group, a model group, and an EA group. The model and EA groups were each divided into 5 subgroups receiving reperfusion 1, 3,7, 14 or 21 days after ischemia. EA was given at the bilateral Hegn point (LI 4) in the EA group. The expression of stromal cell-derived factor-1α(SDF-1α) mRNA was detected using a RT-PCR in the 3, 7 and 14 day subgroups.The immunohistochemical method was employed to detect the expression of SDF-1α protein. Results Compared with the control group, expression of SDF-1α protein increased significantly in the model and EA groups. Compared with the model group, the expression of SDF-1α mRNA increased significantly in the 3, 7 and 14 day subgroups.SDF-1α protein expression and microvessel count increased slightly but not significantly in the 1d subgroup, but the increases were significant in the 3, 7, 14 and 21 day subgroups.Conclusions EA may promote angiogenesis in an ischemic area of the cortex by increasing the expression of SDF-1αmRNA and its protein after focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion.
5.Expression and Significance of Interleukin-18 (IL-18) and Cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) in Endometriosis

Objective To investigate the Expression of interleukin-18(IL-18)and cyclooxygenase2(COX-2)in endometriosis.Methods Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and innunohistochemistry were used to detrermine the levels of interleukin-18 in peritoneal fluid and serum,the expression difference of cyclooxygenase2 in ectopic endometrium with endometriosis and the normal control.Results The levels of interleukin-18 in peritoneal fluid and serum were higher than that of normal control,the expression of cyclooxygenase2 in ectopic endometrium with endometriosis were higher than that of normal control,and the degree in stage of Ⅲ、Ⅳ were higher than those in stage of Ⅰ、Ⅱ.Conclusions IL-18 and COX-2 is related to the endometriosis,the further studying of IL-18 and COX-2 may be helpful in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
6.Mitigating EMI with healthcare electronic facilities referring to FDA recommendations

In view of China's medical equipment industry has not been equipped with a sound system and strict administration, it is wise to draw on FDA recommendations and seek effective ways of solving EMI problems. Further should focus on improving the performance of medical equipment so as to adapt to the different environment. In the end, the design of healthcare facilities to meet EMC standards is put forward specifically in four parts of electronic circuits, power circuits, display device, and the mechanical shell.
7.Manufacture and application of skin suction blister apparatus

Objective To manufacture the skin suction blister apparatus and observe the curative effect of autologous epidermal grafting in treating vitiligo.Methods According to the theory of local skin suction blister: local skin suction blister is decided by the two facts of the negative pressure and temperature,the skin suction blister apparatus was manufactured based on feedback principle,and was applied to autologous epidermal grafting for treating vitiligo.Results The performance of skin suction blister apparatus was stable,the operation was relative simple,and the total survival grade of autologous epidermal grafting was 98.01%.Conclusion The skin suction blister apparatus is simple to operate and its curative effect is excellent for clinical application.
8.Clinical research and application of injecting roll booster
