1.Diagnostic value of serum myoglobin and cardiac troponin in patients with acute myocardial infarction and corresponding reference assessment
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2008;29(5):388-391
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of serum myoglobin (Mb) and cardiac troponin (cTn) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) by reviewing and evaluating the corresponding references with evidence-based medicine (EBM) theory. Methods All references (including papers, reviews and abstracts) of CNKI-CHKD,CMCC(1994-2005)and EMCC(1995-2005) were collected and retrospectively analyzed according to evidence based medicine (EBM) standard, with Mb cTn as the detected indices for diagnosing AMI.Results In the searched period of 1994-2005,123 papers were published (93 pieces were written in Chinese, and 30 were written in English). In most references, the authors set clinical control trial (CCT) (Chinese: 92.5%;English: 53.3%),blind control trial (Chinese: 19.4%;English: 10.0%) and/or random control trial (RCT) (Chinese: 9.7%;English: 16.7%). The respective reference ranges weren′t provided in 42 pieces of articles. Conclusion The analytic result of the references in home and aborad indicates combined detection of Mb and cTnI posseses favourite sensitivity and specificity, which contributes to the early diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction.
2.Effects of murine vascular endothelial growth factor (mVEGF) and anti- vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) antibady on human umbilicus vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) proliferation
Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2001;5(3):160-161
Objective To study on effects of mVEGF and anti-VEGF antibody during cultured HUVEC proliferation in vitro. Methods Endothelial cell proliferation was assayed using human umbilical vein endothelial cells stimulated with mVEGF and with CIA joint extracts and was used 3 H-TaR incorporation. Results The anti-VEGF neutralizing antibody can inhibit the proliferation of HUVEC stimulated with mVEGF and with CIA joint extracts, whose suppression percents were 72.2% and 69.9%,respectively.Conclusion mVEGF specifically promotes the growth of vascular endothelial cells.During early stage of CIA development, expression of VEGF in the joint increases and VEGF is expressed biologically active and can be inhibited by anti-VEGF neutralizing antibody.

4.Dignosis and treatment of hepatolithias associated with cholangiocarrinoma:a report of 28 Cases
International Journal of Surgery 2010;37(7):445-447,封3
Objective To improve the diagnosis and treatment of hepatolithiasis associated with cholangio-caminoma.Methods Data of 28 cases of hepatolithiasis associated with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma from 2005 to 2008 in Li Huili Hospital of Ningbo University Medical School were collected and analysed. Results The diagnosis was established preoperatively in 8(28.6%)cases.Twenty-one(75.0%)patients were radically resected,5(17.9%)patients received palliative operation, and other 2(7.1%)patients received exploratory surgery. In the 24 patients followed-up closely, the median survival time was 30 months in radical surgery group,8 months in palliative operation group, whereas 2 exploratory surgery cases only survived 2 months and 4 months respectively. Conclusions Cholangiocarcinoma may be related to hepatolithiasis.Early diagnosis rate is low and prognosis is poor in the cholangiocarcinoma associated with hepatolithiasis.Early radical therapy for hepatolithiasis plays an important role in preventing cholangiocarcinoma occurrence.Palliative operation for cholangiocarcinoma may improve quality of live.
5.The roles of astrocytes in the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Parkinson's disease(PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder harming mainly the elderly.Astrocyte may be involved in the pathogenesis of PD.However,it also plays a protective role in PD by releasing neurotrophic factors and glutathione to support the survival of dopaminergic neurons.Astrocyte may also release proinflammatory cytokines to promote the development of PD.
6.An Algorithm for Microcirculatory Blood Flow Velocity Measurement Based on Trace Orientation in Spatiotemporal Image.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(2):446-450
The velocity of blood in vessels is an important indicator that reflects the microcirculatory status. The core of the measurement technology, which is based on spatiotemporal (ST) image, is to map the cell motion trace to the two-dimensional ST image, and transfer the measurement of flow velocity to the detection of trace orientation in ST image. This paper proposes a trace orientation measurement algorithm is based on Randomized Hough Transformation and projection transformation, and it is able to estimate trace orientation and flow velocity in noisy ST images. Experiments showed that the agreement between the results by manual and by the proposed algorithm reached over 90%.

8.The etiology and pharmacologic treatment of obesity
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(06):-
Obesity is caused by the imbalance between caloric intake and energy expenditure. It is also influenced by genetic factors. Many genes, such as ob gene, ? 3 receptor gene, ucp 1 gene, may involved in the prevalence of obesity. Pharmacologic treatments include anorexigenic agents, lipase inhibitor, ? 3 receptor agonists and many newer antiobesity drugs, which provide prospective ways in treating obesity.
9.Effect of 5-azacytidine on expressions of atrial natriuretic peptide and β-myosin heavy chain in cultured rat bone marrow stromal cells
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2010;29(9):761-763
Objective To assess the effect of 5-azacytidine (5-AZ) on the expressions of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) and β-myosin heavy chain (β-MHC) genes in cultured rat bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs). Methods Neonatal rat cardiomyocytes and adult rat BMSCs were isolated and cultured. BMSCs were incubated with 5-AZ and (or) myocardiocytes culture medium. RT-PCR was used to measure the expressions of cardiac ANP and β-MHC genes. Results Normally cultured rat BMSCs didn't express cardiac ANP or β-MHC. After inducing by 5-AZ, rat BMSCs expressed ANP or β-MHC. The myocardiocytes culture medium enhanced expression of β-MHC, but didn't affect the expression of ANP. Conclusions The 5-AZ induces the rat BMSCs to express either cardiac ANP or β-MHC, and the former could be enhanced by cardiomyocytes culture medium.
10.A retrospective analysis of epidemiological and clinical data of 104 hemorrhagic fever patients with renal syndrome
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2015;34(10):769-772
Objective To summarize and analyze the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of hemorrhagic fever patients with renal syndrome (HFRS),so as to provide a basis for prevention and treatment. Methods The epidemiological and clinical data of 104 HFRS patients, who were treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University in 2014,were collected. The HFRS patient's age, sex, urban and rural areas, occupation and time of onset distributions, summary onset clinical manifestations, laboratory findings, treatment and outcome were analyzed retrospectively. Results Average age of the 104 cases of HFRS patients was 43.46 years old,the youngest was 12 years old and the oldest was 80 years old. Most of the patients were 30-<50 years old, which was accounted for 54.81% (57/104),and most of the patients were male, which was accounted for 78.85% (82/ 104).Most of the patients lived in rural areas, which was accounted for 81.73% (85/104).Most patients were onset in November, accounted for 19.23% (20/104),and the least was in August, accounted for 2.88% (3/104),and was sporadic in the rest of the year. For the clinical classification, the light type and the moderate type were the largest part,98 cases, accounted for 94.23%,while the severe type and the critically severe type were 6 cases, accounted for 5.77%.The clinical manifestations were as follows:fever majority in 94 cases, accounted for 90.38%,fatigue,aches and pain in 89 cases, accounted for 85.57%;polyuria in 88 cases, accounted for 84.62%;chemosis in 86 cases, accounted for 82.69%;skin bleeding, petechiae in 84 cases, accounted for 80.77%;oliguria in 81 cases, accounted for 77.88%.Laboratory test results were as following:87 cases of blood platelet (PLT) reduced (83.65%),74 cases of serum creatinine (sCr) increased (71.15%),74 cases of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) increased (71.15%),85 cases of aspartate transaminase (AST) increased (81.73%),96 cases of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) increased (92.31%),and 31 cases of creatine kinase (CK) increased (29.81%).All of the 104 patients were cured, with no death. Conclusions Majority of the HFRS patients are young adults. The peak of the incidence of HFRS lies in Autumn. The proportion of the moderate type is the highest.Early diagnosis and treatment is the key to improve the prognosis of patients with HFRS.
