3.Preventive and Therapeutic Effect of Weitong Injection on Postoperative Intestinal Adhesion of Rats
China Pharmacy 2005;0(21):-
OBJECTIVE: To study the preventive and therapeutic effect of Weitong injection(WTI) on the postoperative intestinal adhesion of rats.METHODS: Forty SD rats were randomly divided into five groups: blank control group, model control group,Dexamethasone group and high-dose WTI group and low-dose WTI group.Postoperative intestinal adhesion model was established in all the rats except those in the blank control group. On the operative day,the blank control group and the model control group received Normal saline(1 mL?kg-1);the Dexamethasone group received Dexamethasone(5 mg?kg-1),and WTI group received WTI(4 mg?kg-1 and 2 mg?kg-1,respectively) all via vena caudalis for 7 consecutive days.On day 8,laparotomy was performed on the rats for the evaluation of the degree of intestinal adhesion and the tissue of cecum was collected for the determination of the content of hydroxyproline(Hyp) and the pathological section test.RESULTS: The degree of postoperative intestinal adhesion of rats was attenuated by WTI(either high dose or low dose) or Dexamethasone.Furthermore,WTI significantly reduced the Hyp concentration in cecum tissue of rats with intestinal adhesion(P
4.Recognizing Ventricular Tachycardia and Fibrillation with Hurst Index
Space Medicine & Medical Engineering 2008;21(6):455-460
Objective To recognize normal sinus rhythm (NSR), ventricular tachycardia (VT) and ventricular fibrillation (VF) from each other accurately and promptly. Methods A nonlinear descriptor based on multi-scale analysis, Hurst index, as a feature to quantify the nonlinear dynamics behavior of the ECG signal, was quoted in this paper. Results The nonlinear technique, Hurst index was examined and evaluated with ECG signals extracted from MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database, MIT-BIH Malignant Ventricular Ectopy Database, and CU Ventricular Tachyarrhythmia Database under a specific moving-window length. The experiment showed good performance of this nonlinear descriptor. When the window length was 5 s long, the recognition accuracy for each of NSR, VT and VF was 100%. Besides, the computing speed was much faster than the speed obtained with a traditional non-linear technique, the complexity measure algorithm. Conclusion The Hurst index has a strong potential for life-threatening ventricular arrhythmia recognition in clinical applications.
5.Application of Tracer Methodology in Reducing Dispensing Errors in PIVAS
China Pharmacy 2015;(25):3525-3527
OBJECTIVE:To reduce dispensing errors in Pharmacy intravenous admixture service(PIVAS),improve compound-ing quality of transfusion and guarantee the safety and rationality of clinic transfusion. METHODS:The case tracking method was applied to analyze each link of the work in PIVAS to find the reasons of configuration errors and control risk;and then the system tracking method was applied to analyze the hidden safety risk and the crack of quality from the inside of the system and work flow. Countermeasures and supporting continuous improvement were established to evaluate the effect of management before and after 6 months. RESULTS:Tracer methodology(TM)was adopted to find out the weakness in the key link and work flow of the cause of the configuration errors, the relative work pattern and work environment was improved, the relative system was formulated and completed, strength of rewards and punishment was increased. Through the implementation of the countermeasures, the number of dispensing errors was reduced from 81 to 38,and the error rate was reduced from 0.035% to 0.011%(P<0.01). CONCLU-SIONS:TM can be adopted in the key link and work flow of the cause of the configuration errors, aim at formulate and strictly carry out relative countermeasures to reduce errors in PIVAS,and promote the safety of drug use.

Clinical Medicine of China 2015;(2):169-171
Objective To analyze the clinical effect and safety of cortical bone decortication combined locking plate fixation for treatment of long bone nonunion of limbs. Methods Eighty patients with long bone nonunion of limbs who were treated in the Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Dalian University from Jun. 2010 to Jun. 2013 were selected as our subjects and their clinical data were recorded. According to different treatment methods, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, and each group with 40 cases. Patients in observation group were treated with cortical bone decortication combined locking plate fixation, while in control group were treated with locking plate combined slotted bone graft. Clinical effects and safety of two groups were compared. Results Excellent and good rate in observation group was 100%(40/40),obviously higher than that of control group(90. 0%(36/40);χ2 =4. 21,P﹤0. 05). Bleeding amount during operation in observation group was(370. 5 ± 56. 5)ml,obviously less than that of control group((486. 5 ± 64. 5)ml;t=8. 56,P﹤0. 01). And the fracture healing time was(5. 6 ± 1. 2)months in observation group, shorter than control group((7. 2 ± 1. 5)months;t =5. 27,P ﹤0. 01). The postoperative complication occurrence rate was 5. 0%(2/40),significantly lower than control group(20. 0%(8/40);χ2 =4. 11,P ﹤0. 05). Conclusion Cortical bone decortication combined locking plate fixation for treatment of long bone nonunion of limbs is safe and effective, and it can reduce operation injury and accelerate postoperative healing of fracture.
10.Establishment of an orthotopic autologous liver transplantation model with bile ducts ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(04):-
Objective:To establish an orthotopic autologous liver transplantation model with bile duct ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats,so as to make it easy for the operation. Methods: Eighty SD rats were used to establish the models. The method used for this model was the same as the one for orthotopic liver transplantation, except for the blood vessel anastomosis and the constant pressure perfusion of portal vein and abdominal aorta. The portal vein and the hepatic artery reperfusion were controlled by artery clamp. Results: The successful rate of the operation for establishing the model was 95%(76/80) and the anhepatic phase was(16?2) min.The periods of hot and cold ischemia and reperfusion could be accurately controlled and the effect of double constant pressure perfusion was good. There was no erythrocyte in the capillary of bile ductal wall under the light microscope after the reperfusion. Conclusion: This technique, simulating the whole process of liver transplantation,is simple and has high successful rate.Besides,it rules out the influence of immune agent on bile ducts impairment, and better reflects the pathophysiological process of bile ducts ischemia and reperfusion injury, providing a novel approach for investigation of bile ducts injury during liver transplantation.
